When he realized, the host grabbed a wet rag from the busser's cart and smeared the previous guests' crumbs around the table missing most of the mess. The floor under the table was littered with crusts, napkins crayons, and dropped silverware. The host left without offering a different table. We asked the waitress for a clean table and were moved. The table was cleaner, but we were seated within a foot of the busser's cart which was piled high with dirty plates and old food. We ordered two small pizzas, ate and left quickly. read more

We'd been meaning to try this place since it opened. It was ok, just overpriced for the amount of food and experience. We got the small supreme and a small BYO with chicken, eating in on Sunday around 1pm. The pizza is incredibly small for $17. We asked for a side of marinara to dip the crust and it was also incredibly small. Just felt like everything was as small as possible. Our waiter never checked on us after delivering the food. When she came to get the dirty plates, I had to ask for drink refills. The pizza was good, but we won't be back. Too many pizza places in town. There are some reviews from a few months back that note they bring dough out for the kids to play with, but doesn't seem like they still do that. Decided to stop in for a late lunch and try something different. I really do love the PIZZA here. However, I was a bit curious about the wings and Italian sandwich. It was a great chance to explore other menu options. The Italian sandwich is good. It was loaded with meat, black olives, onions, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato and a tasty creamy Italian sauce. I chose coleslaw as my side and it was pretty decent. The sandwich was fulfilling. I was definitely satisfied and would order this again. The wings were disappointing. I chose the mango habanero flavor. The wings were cooked well and the presentation looked amazing. The sauce was great, but it tasted like the chicken wasn't cooked with any seasoning. It was like bland chicken with sauce poured over it. A little salt and pepper goes a long way. The blue cheese dressing was yummy though. My waiter was AWESOME! He was friendly, helpful and polite. He provided great service and I enjoyed his pleasant presence. I came after the lunch rush. It was a bit untidy inside and as I was sitting there they were slowly cleaning up the dining area. Hideaway Pizza in Frisco is a gem. I was a bit intimidating by the many cars in the parking lot. Glad I took a chance. There was plenty of room for everyone. The place is very large with sitting on a deck area. The wait was short. Especially since they have a really good happy hour. The best part of it all was the happy hour lasts until 7:00 p.m. whoop whoop. The pizza was absolutely delicious. It does take a bit longer to come out because it is made to order, and worth every minute of the wait. The salad was vibrant with color and was made with fresh ingredients. Let me emphasis the made to order crispy crusted delicious ooey and gooey pizza . They have a good variety of starters. The cheese-sticks came out hot, fresh and crispy. The pizzas here are so good! We weren't sure on the sizes of the pizza so we asked our waitress and she was very kind and helpful in helping us decide which pizzas to order. We ordered a medium big country and medium yardbird pizza. It was the right size to enjoy for dine in and take some leftovers for home! I was surprised and excited to see a Hideaway Pizza as I was driving along 121. It immediately reminded me of the time I lived in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Hideaway was my favorite pizza place back then. It was so nostalgic to see one here in Dallas! We ordered their signature pizza (the ATW), Greek salad, and fried mushrooms. We loved the appetizer. The mushrooms were very tasty, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The Greek salad was fresh with all the typical ingredients. We particularly loved the dressing, which had a nice lemony and zesty taste. The pizza was wonderful. It had pepperoni, sausage, and assorted veggies like olives, onions, green bell peppers, etc. I particularly loved the crust, which was crunchy and toasty, not too thick or too thin. The whole thing was not too oily, which I liked. This place was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. I don't quite remember how exactly the hideaway in Stillwater looked like back then. But this visit did bring back many fond memories of my time in Stillwater! We just came in for a second time (mainly for the fried ravioli) and to also celebrate my boyfriends birthday. I'm already a fan and knew he would love it as well. We had an absolute amazing time with 5star service from Gabriela! She really gave us all the attention we needed and paced our meal out without keeping us there too long. She genuinely engaged with all of us, laughed with us and made the experience truly so memorable. On top of that the food was also 5 stars...hot, delicious and an amazing cheese pull. Hideaway has become our family favorite pizza spot. They have a big menu with lots of options. There are a ton of pizza options and you are able to customize it with a numerous amount of toppings. I also really enjoy the pastas especially the cajun pasta. It is also customizable which is awesome as I can get it without chicken and specify my protein. The mozz sticks are really good as an appetizer or the fried pickles. If you are a bread person the garlic bread with cheese is a must try! This is my husband's favorite pizza place so I was eager to try it. The small pizza is in fact, not very small so there were lots of leftovers which I really appreciated because I love to bring food home. Our server was sweet and got everything right. I really loved the stuffed mushrooms. Their ranch is also very good. Mozzarella sticks were kinda mediocre for me but my husband loved them. One thing I didn't particularly love were the wings. The flavor was excellent but they were gummy and I like my wings crispy. I think they were baked not fried. They serve Pepsi which I adore. Desserts looked great but we didn't try them to ight. We were super excited to come here to have pizza because we had had Hideaway pizza in Oklahoma City years ago and remembered that experience fondly. On a Friday night we had a 10 min wait, which wasn't too bad really, the place was packed, and very happenin'. We were sat in a smaller back room which we appreciated because it was a little quieter. We ordered right away, a half order of the world famous fried mushrooms, large order of Greek salad with feta on the side, and a large veggie topping pizza. Love that you can choose hand tossed crust. The fried mushrooms came out right away with marinara AND ranch dressing. Love that. The mushrooms def needed a dipping sauce. The pizza came out pretty quickly after we had almost finished our appetizer and it was hot and the cheese was stringy. Great ratio of topping to cheese. The crust had a nice crunch to it and held its shape when you lift the slice to take a bite. The only thing is our Greek salad never came out and when we were almost finished with our pizza I had to ask the server for the salad. They were very kind to check what happened to our salad right away and were able to send another one out. Even the manager came out to talk to us and offered to take the salad off the check but we said we'd happily pay for it, if it comes out. This was my first time at Hideaway Pizza. My takeaway is that the pizza is decently priced, but the place could be a lot cleaner. The table we were seated at was still dirty, and we had to clean it ourselves, which wasn't a great first impression. Despite mediocre service and cleanliness, the pizza was actually good. Ambiance: Lively, with lots of different seating options and plenty of TVs to watch sports. The service was okay--our server often avoided checking on us and seemed to prioritize the bigger tables. Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza: The pizza was really good. The slices were big, and the flavor was solid. I especially liked the sausage--it had a nice crisp to it, which added great texture. Our go-to at pizza places is the Margherita. Our server, Anthony - was attentive and kind and made several suggestions; including the possibility of a half and half. Made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us in intervals during our meal. We decided on half Pepperoni and half Margherita. We prefer thin crust and a small size (10") to share between the two of us. It was perfect. Most noteworthy was the texture and ratio of the dough and crust. The flavors truly shined; in particular the olive oil, garlic, and the red sauce provided the ideal contrast. Tony - one of the Managers on the floor - stopped by our table for feedback about our visit. Honestly, the best pizza I have had at a restaurant in years! I ordered their loaded garlic knots with cheese, pepperoni, and jalapeños on the side four our appetizer. The garlic knots were delicious and the cheese pull was incredible. We ordered a large 1/2 pizza and tried two popular menu items the AWC I believe & chicken pizza with Alfredo sauce. I also ordered a kids mac n cheese for my little and everything was delicious.
