It's certainly interesting to see so many new pizza places opening up in the area ! My wife and I often joke about who's eating all that pizza. Speaking of pizza, we celebrated our kids' soccer team at this restaurant Thursday night. With a large group of 12 families, managing orders could have been chaotic, but the waitstaff were truly exceptional. They navigated everything quite smoothly. As for the food, the kids enjoyed their pizzas, which were fine. We ordered a mix of pepperoni and vegetarian options for the adults. While the pizza was okay, it didn't particularly stand out. Despite our somewhat lukewarm impression of the food, the restaurant was packed on a Thursday evening. We left still wondering about the seemingly insatiable appetite for pizza around here! read more

We are new to the area, and stopped by to get a pizza to go. Dakota greeted us and he was so friendly welcoming us to Frisco/Plano. He told us all about the area and listed other favorite restaurants in the area besides his restaurant which we ordered a 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 margarita thin crust pizza. I have to say it was soooooo yummy!!! The pepperoni was perfectly crisp and the whole pizza was delicious. We will definitely be back for their amazing happy hour that Dakota told us about. Thank you for welcoming us to Texas. read more

Excellent place. We came here on a Sunday for lunch. They had ample seating, even with large groups, and great service. Our server (Jess) was attentive and very upbeat. We ordered a Greek salad and "Da Bomb." Food came out QUICKLY and was fabulous. The decor is fun- lots of different kites on the ceiling. The restroom was clean and well stocked with soap and paper towels. read more

Food and service are good. Seems to be always busy. There can be a wait occasional(20 min last time) which isn't a problem unless you have small children to corral. I'm probably biased, but I think that the original Hideaway in Stillwater, OK, is better. read more

We have been there several times..Pizza and Service is always Great..I highly recommend you take your family.

Great pizza spot! The service was quick and friendly with a menu of plenty of options. We selected the garlic knots with marinara sauce and a large Hurricane pizza with BBQ sauce on the side. The beer selections on tap were pretty vast and I opted for a Stella. Overall the visit was good and the pizza was perfect. I recommend you give them a try. Enjoy! read more

Came here with my mom for an impromptu birthday dinner this past Saturday after one of the restaurants next door was super behind on reservations and we didn't want to continue waiting since it has already been 25 minutes past our reservation time. Trying to salvage dinner plans I asked my mom if she wanted to check out any other restaurants around the parking lot and she ultimately decided on Hideaway Pizza. We came in without any reservations and thankfully were able to get seated right away. Bonus points for that. Paige was our server and she was great. Paige explained what items were popular and what she liked. My mom is allergic to alcohol so she got a water and after deliberating for a while I ultimately broke by diet today by getting soda since I'm already eating pizza for dinner lol. It came in this cool plastic pink cup that I got to take home. My mom and I ordered a full size fried mushrooms, 12 wings (half garlic parm and half mango habanero), and a medium Xtreme pizza. Yes it ended up being too much food for 2 people, but like Paige said, "Go Big or Go Home." The wings came out first. Both the garlic parm and mango habanero wings tasted great! This might be my favorite place to get garlic Parmesan wings ever flavor wise. However, the wings were small and kinda dry. Still solid though. Next were the fried mushrooms. I can see why many people order them. Perfect sharing size and it came with ranch and marinara sauce. The fried mushrooms tasted great, but they weren't hot, the breading fell off easily, and it was kinda soggy. Taste is king though and these still tasted amazing. The star of the night was the Xtreme pizza though. By the time this came out my mom and I were full, but the pizza just looked so good. It tasted even better. I'm kinda in awe at how the pizza was able to keep its shape and hold up the extravagant amount of toppings without falling apart or getting soggy. I highly recommend this pizza. We couldn't finish any of our apps or pizza so we took it home to eat. The food was still delicious the next day. All in all I would definitely come back again but with more people next time. Dinner wasn't perfect, but it was still up there. Paige's service was great, everything tasted amazing, and just a few tweaks here and there and this place would be perfect to me. I heard they had a great area upstairs from someone as I was leaving so I'll have to come back with my mates to try it out and get some drinks too. Hideaway Pizza saved me from a disastrous 46th birthday that I had planned out for my mom when it was out of my control. I'm glad my mom decided on this place as our backup plan and I will come back. read more

This was my first visit and I was impressed! I'd return again! Our waitress was Emi and she did a super job of handling our orders. We had draft beers and a few other things. The eating area is spacious! They have an upstairs and downstairs. Lots of space! The stairs are pretty steep if you have knee or hip issues. I'd suggest they seat you on the first floor! We ordered appetizers, and some additional side items. All of the food was delicious! Glad I came here with friends to try the food!! I enjoyed the lasagna. I was surprised since other patrons said it wasn't good. WHAT??? I'd eat it again! It did need a little spice added to it. However, you can add peppers at the table if needed. Since people are picky with their taste buds, adding additional spices should be a personal preference! So don't complain folks! Glad I did. Service was fantastic. Makes for a great meal!! I would return to try again. We sat in a booth and it sat all of us fine. We added chairs at the end to accommodate our group. April 2024 read more

Let me just start with one word, WOW! As always, when trying a pizza spot for the first time, I stick with the basics. I ordered a Build Your Own pizza, with hideaway red sauce, cup'n'curl pepperonis, bell pepper, and banana pepper. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Don't waste your time on basic pep, and order the cup'n'curl for the most delicious, crispy and crunchy peps. The toppings were spread evenly, and the crust was divine. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie skillet with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert, and loved it. Kay, our server, was so kind, friendly, offered excellent suggestions, and spoke highly of Hideaway's pizza. Not to mention, Kay totally looks like Zoe Saldana's double. Go see for yourself! Dakota, the manager, came and greeted us at our table, was very welcoming and let us know about all the fun things happening at Hideaway! Casual to cutesy casual little spot, that's perfect for a relaxed date night or to hang with friends, we'll be back! read more

Thought I'd try out this place as mid-week pizza craving started checking in. And Hideaway Pizza did not disappoint! Gabby, our server was great. This Oklahoma chain opened up in Plano around October last year, with a couple more locations opening soon in McKinney and Fort Worth. The place was relatively pretty quiet. Orders came in timely and most importantly enjoyed the food. We ordered the Buffalo Wings followed by the Thin Crust split between the Veggie Combo and the Capone, and was glad to see that the thin crust was not crispy. Nice artwork on the plates, BTW Definitely need to come back and check other Pizza options here. read more

Robert, our fantastic server was so gracious and made our meal really enjoyable for our first meal. Everything he recommended was spot on and we'll be requesting him for all future visits. Pro Tip: You can do half and half types of toppings on your pizza. I highly recommend doing this. My particular favorites is that the specialty pizza, The Pollinator. It's a fantastic blend of savory salami/pepperoni and a mild heat of hot honey. The Famous Fried Mushrooms are a fantastic appetizer even if you just get the half order. The serving size is extra generous so enjoy being a fatty and stuff yourself! read more

Mediocre spot. We ordered the x-treme pizza, which was decent, but the cheese was too stringy and all the toppings kept falling off, so everything just felt underwhelming. The medium is 8 slices and is definitely shareable with another person. Service is okay but extremely slow. Considering how many workers there were and amount of customers, a lot of us shouldn't have been ignored. Was seated with menus but didn't actually talk to a server for probably 20min, and took another 25min to get our food. The environment is casual and very family oriented. For the experience and quality of the food, the price is not reasonable. I can understand the likeness for those who enjoy pizza but I won't be back. read more

We have been to Hideaway Pizza locations in Oklahoma (its home state) and loved every visit, so of course we were excited to hear that a location had opened up close by. The staff greeted us with friendliness and professionalism, and the young man tending bar upstairs did the same. We sat at the upstairs bar for our meal. This is a huge building, with two full bars and a rooftop patio section. We had the fried mushrooms to start - HP calls them their Famous Mushrooms, and rightfully so. They are well-breaded without being greasy or watery from the mushrooms. The flavor and texture is unique, and they come with ranch dressing and marinara sauce. For our main, we split a small Veggie Combo. This was delicious - well-topped with good quality veggies. The crust was crisped to perfection. The food was as amazing as we had ever had it. Also to note was the number of "off-duty" employees dining here; the bar area was full of them. Even the bartender commented on how much he loved the food there. We don't recommend dining at the upstairs bar if you want a quiet meal. The patrons last night (1.19.24) thought they were at an actual bar, and it got a little loud and crowded. There tends to be a choke point between the bar and the patio section where people will crowd you and shout out drink orders right behind you. Still, we look forward to our next visit and any excuse to be on that side of town. read more

All the smells, tastes and memories came rushing back - ahhhh the college days of enjoying Hideaway pizza! Delicious oooey gooey cheesy goodness on a plate- yes, it was a hit. The wings were delicious too. Can't go wrong with a hideaway cup! Gotta get you one of these. Here's where hideaway lost a star- we order a secret menu items- the variety pizza. I asked how much the small would be (6 slices) our waitress said $9.99, so we got a medium (8 slices) for two more slices they charged me 19.49? The math ain't mathing. That was a little bit of a swindle. Our service was great and the food was delicious, but that prices seemed a little suspicious- hmm. read more

The entrance is the exact opposite spot of where you would expect? Maybe not. We parked facing the street and the parking was on the opposite side. Overall, This is a great spot to go to if you have picky kids who like pretty middle of the road pizza. Their happy hour specials are Monday- Friday 4-7 and it's a really great deal. We had wings and garlic knots as appetizers. Wings were delicious and so were the garlic knots. Our entire table ordered drinks and my friend and I had frozen margaritas. They tasted like they had 0 alcohol. I'm also not sure if the disconnect was with the bar or the servers but drinks took an extended amount of time to get to the table. The pizza itself was ok but way too salty. The sizes were perfect for the mini pizza. My husband and I shared one and my friend shared one with her husband. Perfect size, too much salt. We then thought, it's a busy day let's just get dessert here instead.. bad decision. They had pizookies (idk how you spell that word lol but basically a cookie skillet with a scoop of ice cream on top). This is the most thin cookie ever, even chilis gives you a thicker cookie. All in all, I'm glad we tried it but we will not be returning. In this economy, we can't afford to go back to a place that was a solid 3/5. If we're eating out, we want it to feel like it's worth it. read more

Checked this place out on a Saturday night. I will say that the check in before you arrive is great but you will still have at least an 30+ wait when you arrive if it's a busy period. Luckily, you can order from the bar while you wait and enjoy a drink while waiting. The inside is two levels with the top being a rooftop but is insulated during the colder months. The downstairs has the bar and the bar top itself is first come first serve just not the tables surrounding the bar. So if it's just you or max, you could get lucky and sit here to dine. Happy hour is from 4-7 M-F with 50% bar drinks so would be a great time to check them out. We at downstairs and they do have TVs in the main sitting areas so you can still catch a major game. Once we sat down our server came right away. He was amazing and took great care of us the rest of the night. Even though they were busy he always made time to stop by and check in. We ordered some garlic knots and fried ravioli. Both of which were great. Highly recommend them. I ordered the Pollinator and my partner the Big Country. We both ordered a medium and both had some leftover to take home. For the Pollinator I opted to get the red sauce as the base compared to the original garlic one so can't speak to the original. But with the red sauce I really enjoyed it! Not sure if they actually had the hot honey on there (they are still relatively new so growing pains) but was still amazing. If you are a banana pepper person then you'll love it. My partner said the Big Country was amazing too. Overall I will definitely be back. Highly recommend checking them out. read more

Good drinks good pizza! Happy hour 4-7 Monday-Friday. We got the something pie pizza but it was chicken bacon, mushrooms and it was so good! We got the small which was great for lunch. Oklahoma style pizza? In Texas? I never heard that in any Big Bur-Na song... So we came here on a Friday night, and it was busy which was to be expected. It didn't take too long to get seated in the upstairs area. Service was quick and attentive. I would say the atmosphere is "sports bar-ish." Again. Not an issue. The fried mushrooms were very good. I believe the marinara dipping sauce was a little bit spicy which I like. The Sicilian pizza was loaded with meats and cheese. My nephew got the kids pizza. I debated getting the fried ravioli, but it would've just been too much. Another table got those, and they looked awesome. read more

Very cool, chill atmosphere and nice, helpful servers. The pizza toppings were fine, pretty standard. The crust was the best part. Perfectly crispy on the bottom, nice chew, good flavor. We also got the mozzarella sticks and fried mushrooms. The mozzarella sticks were good, but the mushrooms could use some improvement. They taste totally unseasoned. Just battered and fried. Would be excellent if they season them in some way before frying or add more seasoning to the batter. It's a fun yet relaxing place with decent food. Feels nostalgic in a way. A great place for an easy dinner on the weekend. read more
