4.5 stars and only lost 1/2 due to the cheesticks and mushrooms being barely warm! Service was impeccable!!! Mauricio was so attentive, friendly and just a pleasure to converse with!! THIS PIZZA!!! IS incredible!!! So much flavor and the crust was fresh and beyond compare!!! Extremely filling!! Restaurant was so accommodating to find whatever game we wanted to see!! College football Saturday! So glad this place opened here. I grew up on Hideaway in Tulsa as a kid. The food is just as great here. Happy hour is impossible to beat. Worth every penny. Don't forget to try the fried mushrooms because they are so good. Not greasy. And of course get the side of ranch for everything!!!. read more

Ordered here many times. I always ask for EXTRA CRISPY pizza. It is NEVER even crispy. Thought I would never order from here again after getting not so crispy pizza time and time again. Such a simple request I thought. After close to a year I thought let's give them another chance. Glad I did. Ordered a pizza and asked for EXTRA CRISPY and unbelievably it was EXTRA CRISPY. This used to be our favorite pizza place, but we won't be back. Of the last three times we've been, once we didn't get our food for over an hour (turned out it was never put in.) The next time, we had a great experience, so wanted to give it another try. This time, the mozzarella sticks were cold (like frozen) the first time they brought them out. Then, we waited for 45 minutes and still have yet to get our pizza. We won't be back, which is a shame because the pizza is usually pretty good. read more

I've enjoyed Hideaway Pizza at several locations across Oklahoma, but the Plano location truly exceeded my expectations. The pizza here was outstanding--starting with the crust, which was perfectly balanced: fresh, crispy on the outside, thick enough to hold up, yet never doughy or heavy. The sauce had great flavor, and the toppings were noticeably higher quality than what I've had elsewhere. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, making for one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The atmosphere and service added to the experience, and we will definitely be back. I've been hearing good things about this new place and stopped in for a quick lunch at the bar. Quick and friendly service from the bartender and the pizza was great! When I'm by myself, I can't resist getting an olive pizza - some may think that's weird, so you can get your own. I'm a fan of the thin crust. Next time I'll check out the rooftop patio. I call this the 'Rodeo Goat of Pizza'. The Yardbird and Pollenator are the bees knees. The only problem is that the prices seem sky high for a pizza pie. Nice vibes in the dining area, bar, or rooftop patio as long as the kids are corralled. We've also gotten to go and they bring curbside: just be sure to validate the ranch before driving off. read more

What a great hidden restaurant although it's not really hidden as it's on the side of Sam Rayburn 121. What's really amazing about this restaurant is there is a lot of seating so there's hardly any weight to get in. The staff was training when we went, but everything was still just on point.the food is great. The atmosphere is friendly. While not all the dishes came out at once they did come out fairly close together although one table was a little bit behind the others which delayed departure times for many. I wasn't feeling the greatest so stuck with some mint hot tea and my server was very gracious in my refills. I also decided they wanted something cozy for dinner so got half a grilled cheese sandwich with french fries and half tomato soup. The tomato soup was really delicious, rich in flavor, but not over the top in acidity. The grilled cheese sandwich was OK very basic nature.

Wow just wow. This baffles me. I have been waiting for what seems like ages for my pizza pie. Flabbergasted am I. This place is slower then my slowest horse back home in Serbia. Let me tell u about my life. At a young age, I didn't really fit in. When I was five, my mother passed my father left, and it was just me and my dog sparkles. Sparkles wondered if there was more to life and I said I think there is. I moved to America to find a better life inimJanuary 1st 1970. I was an immigrant for 9 years until i finally moved here to Texas. My purpose of life to become the number one yelp revere of all time and so far I've done a pretty darn good job if I do say so myself. My dog sparkles however tragically died in 1970 when we moved to America. He fell out of the plane and landed on someone. Funny story actually, the person turned into a dog person and had dog feet and human arms. Anyways, the pizza is okay. read more

We decided to try this pizza spot for a quick dinner since we didn't feel like cooking. We placed a to-go order and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes, but when we arrived 25 minutes later, the pizzas were ready while the cheesy bread wasn't. Waiting an additional 20 minutes for the cheesy bread was frustrating, especially knowing the pizzas were just sitting there. However, the manager completely turned the situation around with his sincere apology and effort to make things right, which we really appreciated. Despite the hiccup, the two pizzas we ordered were absolutely delicious. Mount mushmore pizza was definitely a favorite with its glaze on top. I'd definitely return for both the food and the excellent customer service. read more

This would be good IF I hadn't had the original Hideaway in Stillwater. That chewy cracker crust is all I was craving today. I live in Dallas so I decided to give this new location and I was very disappointed when I opened my pizza box and tasted the pizza. The crust is like Dominos, but worse, unseasoned and stale. The toppings were delicious, but way less than they give you in Stillwater. Not to mention the pizza is much more expensive and overall it's just not as good. If the pizza is nothing like the original Hideaway, it shouldn't be called Hideaway. I want to original crust, that delicious chewy cracker crust, not whatever this store bought tasting crust was. read more

Hideaway Pizza is hands down the best pizza around, consistently unbeatable in taste and quality. The staff is always friendly and on top of their game, providing excellent service every time. I recently left my expensive wallet behind, and the staff went above and beyond to safely hold onto it until I returned. It's rare to find such trustworthy and dedicated people. I've introduced many friends and family to Hideaway, and they all agree--it's our go-to spot. I'll keep coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch pizza and exceptional service! read more

We have been customers of Pizzeria Testa since they opened and have eaten here regularly for years…read more Our kids grew up having pizza nights here. Unfortunately, after our experience this week, we will never return. While dining at Testa on Friday, we spoke directly with the longtime manager we regularly see there, as well as our server, about holding our daughter's 11th birthday party in the small private room the following Saturday. We explained exactly what we wanted: the room for a few hours, a couple of their meter pizzas, appetizers and nonalcoholic drinks from the regular menu, and a birthday cake or cupcakes that we would bring. We were told in person that the room would be around $100, that we could order from the regular menu, and that bringing the birthday cake/cupcakes was fine. We were instructed to contact their special-events person to arrange it. So we did. That put us in contact with Holly, Pizzeria Testa's Sales Manager. What Holly initially presented to us was completely different from what we had been told in person. She told us the room was actually $150 PER HOUR, plus a 20-person group-dining-menu requirement. After we explained what management had told us at the restaurant, Holly offered instead a $620 food-and-beverage minimum, with the food required to be preordered. For a three-hour 11-year-old's birthday party, that meant $450 for the room plus a $620 food-and-beverage minimum -- $1,070 BEFORE the 20% gratuity and tax. We repeatedly explained to Holly that this was materially different from what their own management had told us face-to-face just days earlier. What was particularly disappointing was Holly's response that she would speak with Efrain, Pizzeria Testa's General Manager, "to ensure that our servers are not giving out incorrect information." Except this information did not simply come from a server. We had repeatedly explained that we discussed the party directly with the longtime manager we regularly see at Testa as well as our server. Holly then spoke directly with General Manager Efrain about the situation. After that conversation, her final response was that Pizzeria Testa was "unable to accept reservations at this time." So after years of being regular customers, we were left with this: management told us one thing face-to-face, Holly quoted us something entirely different, and after Holly escalated the discrepancy directly to General Manager Efrain, the restaurant still would not accommodate anything resembling what had originally been represented to us. For us, this isn't about whether Pizzeria Testa is entitled to charge $150 per hour for a private room or establish a $620 food-and-beverage minimum. Of course they are. It is about whether longtime customers should be able to rely on what a restaurant's own management tells them face-to-face. Had we simply been told Friday, "The room is $150 an hour, there is a $620 minimum, everything must be preordered, and you'll be over $1,000 before gratuity and tax," we would have thanked them and selected another location. There would have been no issue whatsoever. Instead, we relied on what we were specifically told in person, followed their instructions to contact the events department, and then encountered an entirely different set of terms. After being customers since Pizzeria Testa opened, this was an extraordinarily disappointing way for the relationship to end. We will not be returning. The pizza was never the reason we stopped coming. The way this was handled by Holly, Efrain and Pizzeria Testa management is.

I would have ordered a side or additional appetizer to fill me up but between my bowl and $15 margarita I was already looking at a bill close to $50! At the end of the day I give them 3.5 stars because the food is good, the food is fresh and they offer good gluten free | vegan | dairy free options. However, the drinks are weak and are mostly ice, the cost for the portions is so high and you'll likely leave hungry but spent over $50/person after all is said and done. I would eat at True Food again, but I probably wouldn't choose it as my first option.
