We had such a good experience. Anthony, our server, was incredible and he helped make our first visit incredible. The customization of the menu is so nice if you can't decide between two items, you can split two specialty pizzas half and half! We got the 50/50 mozz sticks & fried mushrooms to start, then did a half Yardbird and half Xtreme Supreme pizza. Anthony actually recommended some adjustments based on topping preferences we shared with him, which was super cool of him. Our apps and pizza were outstanding--seriously delicious. The restaurant has a very intentional, almost classic 90's feel to it, like that favorite pizza spot you loved as a kid, but grown up. A lot of stuff is made in house, too, like the ranch and marinara (Anthony filled us in on that great tidbit). We were both full but went back for one more slice just because it was good. (wrong) opposite side bigger parking lot makes sense but as you see the other buildings it's reverse we walked in to say that Jonathan was very welcoming. Gave us a menu it being our first time have many suggestions of what he recommended. This is exactly what I was looking for for my family. A restaurant that was lively! It was a Saturday and extremely packed! Even though there was 14 of us, we did not wait long which was awesome! We attempted to make reservations as there were multiple people (around 10-12 people )in our group but we were told via phone that we could not make reservations. Upon arrival we were told that the wait would be about 30 minutes. At the 35-40 minute mark, we were still waiting. The location was crowded but some people were being seated here and there. We checked the status of a table around this time and were told it would be another few minutes. We waited over an hour to be seated. Once seated the waiter apologized about the wait and quickly placed our drink orders. We already knew what we wanted to order due to the long wait so we placed our orders a few minutes after our orders were delivered. It took about 20 minutes or so for the food to arrive. We enjoyed the appetizers of garlic knots, fried pickles , and garlic bread. The pizza was hot and fresh and the wings were good too. The only food that was just ok was the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. The grilled chicken was dry and multiple chews had to be done to swallow the sandwich bites down. Our 1st time here. When here for lunch. Right off the bat, the host came back from cleaning tables. He said, "Who's next" while we were standing in front of him. I wasn't sure if I needed to move out of the way to let someone else go first. We got seated within 5 minutes. The bartender took our order. Got the fried pickles, wings, and a pizza. We got our wings and pickles 1st. There's not much room on the table at this point. The waiter shows up with the pizza and looks at us and says there is not much room on the table. He then asked if we would like a pizza stand to set the pizza on. Told him that would be a great idea. . The bartender did a good job. Lady walked by. I think she was one of the managers and asked if we were doing good and if we needed anything. Told her a few to go boxes, and we struck up a small conversation. We ordered the fried (world famous) mushrooms, the fried ravioli and The Boz pizza. This location doesn't sell the pizza where every slice is a different type. Even with the crowd, food came out pretty quick. The fried mushrooms aren't outta a bag frozen type. They really are homemade and they were the best mushrooms I've had in a restaurant in years. Really good, some of the best. The fried ravioli was the same. Crispy, seasoned good and the marinara sauce wasn't an after thought, it was some good stuff. The Boz pizza is one of the meatier options. Pepperoni, bacon, and sausage, with red bell pepper, and jalapenos. The pizza we got was loaded, and it was really good. We all had a couple pieces and it was plenty. They had the beer I usually drink, and it was surprisingly priced below what I see at most places. Another big plus. Anyway, everything was great on this visit. I look forward to coming back even though it's a drive for me. Probably make this place a stop for every visit up north to throw money away in Oklahoma. We have been here a couple of times when we visit our daughter in Frisco area. Hideaway is always hopping with activity. We were able to call ahead and out ourselves on a wait list. They told us it would be about 30.monites and we got there 15 minutes later. When we arrived, it was less than 15 minute wait. I suggest doing the call ahead option if you can! We had pizza beer. We love the ultimate pepperoni. Another said the alfredo pasta was great as well. Their think pesto pizza was nice and crispy, but would have liked a little more pesto on it. We took the family here to try something new and were so pleased! They offer a variety of options and dishes beyond the pizza, but by far the best was the Chicken Florentine with pesto sauce! We went to Hideaway Pizza for the first time. My daughter ordered the Italian on white with homemade chips from the sandwiches portion of the menu. She rated it a 4 out of 5 stars. She's super petite but she eats like a linebacker though. She ordered sweet tea because she wanted a collector's cup to take home. The entire Starters portion of the menu is all food items that are fried or breaded or both. Most sounded pretty good taste bud wise but for me personally not so great health wise. After checking out the Build Your Own Pizza section I was happy to see cauliflower and also gluten free options. But I wasn't happy for long. The cauliflower crust has a $3 up charge. So my 10" cheese pizza instantly would be $13.00 before one single topping would be added. So Greek salad for me. Yay. My salad had exactly 3 Kalamata olives. I'm an olives person so that was disappointing. Double yay for the Frozen Lemonade Pie, it's delicious. Even hot sauce couldn't help a simple pepperoni pizza be any less bland and candy sweet. Also had the fried ravioli. Very tough. Side sauce was basically tomato syrup with 0 seasonings. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed including the different sauces and water and drinks and plates. We ordered the fried mushrooms and they were good. The waters and my husband's beer were quick to arrive, but the appetizer and my beverage took an unexpectedly long time. The appetizer was cold when it arrived. To me at least, this is some of the best pizza in the area! They have so many specialty pizzas and also an option to build your own! Toppings are fresh and they let their crust slow rise and you can definitely tell. Service is good and attentive! As far as ambiance goes it depends on where you sit. My colleague and I ordered the garlic cheese bread and a medium "build your own" we chose the Alfredo base with fresh spinach and cheese and it was amazing!
