Great pizza! I love the creativity in the name and topping of the pizza. The crust is fantastic; you can hear the crunch with every bite. I will come here again. read more

Hideaway Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Plano, Texas

We love this place!! My husband and I do pizza Fridays every Friday and we go and discover whatever local pizza places we can. Since just moving to McKinney we found hideaway as one of our neighbor spots. After dining one time we decided to keep it in constant rotation of our pizza Fridays bc we loved it so much! The food was great, great drink specials, and the staff is always super friendly. read more

Wanted it to be good. Just isn't. If you like your pizza to taste like it's sugar glazed and relatively flavorless, then this is the pizza for you. Even hot sauce couldn't help a simple pepperoni pizza be any less bland and candy sweet. Also had the fried ravioli. Very tough. Side sauce was basically tomato syrup with 0 seasonings. So I suspect this is going to be the experience for most of their tomato based foods. Yuck! read more

Great pizza and good service. The wait on weekend evenings is pretty long but it's work the wait. Their happy hour prices are great! I dislike mushrooms (texture) but their cheesy baked mushrooms are fantastic! read more

My absolute favorite local pizza place - carry out or eat in!!!! Amazing pizza - crust, toppings, EVERYTHING!!! #Hideaways

We have been here a couple of times when we visit our daughter in Frisco area. Hideaway is always hopping with activity. We were able to call ahead and out ourselves on a wait list. They told us it would be about 30.monites and we got there 15 minutes later. When we arrived, it was less than 15 minute wait. I suggest doing the call ahead option if you can! We had pizza beer. We love the ultimate pepperoni. Another said the alfredo pasta was great as well. Their think pesto pizza was nice and crispy, but would have liked a little more pesto on it. This place has a great atmosphere and good food. read more

This review is based on my second visit to Hideaway. I didn't review the first time because I did a to go order. This time I went into the restaurant with my family and we sat down to eat. We knew we'd get pizza but we also decided to try a few other things just to a full experience. The fried mushrooms are definitely a must for an appetizer. We had a few options for pizzas and we killed it all. The restaurant is huge and it seems to get pretty packed, and it's understandable because the pizza is worth it. read more

We took the family here to try something new and were so pleased! They offer a variety of options and dishes beyond the pizza, but by far the best was the Chicken Florentine with pesto sauce! We also tried their supreme, which our kids loved! The cool thing was they were able to do two different pizza sauces on the same pizza, so we could do half and half on the flavors. The staff was so helpful and kind, and loved telling our kids about the different kites that were decorating the ceiling. Definitely a spot we will come back again!! read more

A very busy place. Connor was very patient with us as we were trying to figure out what to order. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed including the different sauces and water and drinks and plates. We ordered the fried mushrooms and they were good. Just be aware of a kick at the end. Our favorite would be the Parmesan chicken wings. Delicious! We decided to order 2 different types of pizza. The Ultimate and the Paradise Pie. Both were good but my favorite would be The Ultimate. I loved the olives and all the toppings piled on top of each. We had a great time read more

The food here is AHMAZING! I highly recommend especially if you are gluten sensitive! It's the best I've had! Service is always top notch and the restaurant is just a cool vibe. Seat in upstairs is always a blast! read more

First time here. We ordered the breaded mushrooms and a couple of cold beers then looked at the menu for a pizza to go. Our choice was the ATW. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back. read more

We were seated immediately, which was great. We ordered waters and an appetizer as soon as we sat. The waters and my husband's beer were quick to arrive, but the appetizer and my beverage took an unexpectedly long time. The appetizer was cold when it arrived. We requested more water and ranch, neither of which we received. We went an entire meal with only one glass of water each, not by choice. The pizza itself was delicious! The service was absolutely appalling. TLDR: food was great, service was abysmal at best. read more

Great service at the bar! We had the Italian sub with home made potato chips- delicious !!! Also don't miss the house made Bellini's!! They tasted perfect! I want to try the fried mushrooms next time. read more

To me at least, this is some of the best pizza in the area! They have so many specialty pizzas and also an option to build your own! Toppings are fresh and they let their crust slow rise and you can definitely tell. Service is good and attentive! As far as ambiance goes it depends on where you sit. The first few times we came we sat on the patio and it was awesome. We've also set inside and that is a run of the mill experience. All in all hideaway pizza is pretty awesome and I definitely recommend! read more

Great food and Connor was a great server. The food always comes out really fast and hot. The garlic cheesy bread is awesome Well be back read more

Amazing pizza. Had the PEPPERONIPALOOZA and was satisfied. Price Little bit high but you get great pizza. Would go back

My colleague and I ordered the garlic cheese bread and a medium "build your own" we chose the Alfredo base with fresh spinach and cheese and it was amazing! The garlic cheese bread was moist and cheesy in the middle and had a nice crunch to the outer layer it all tasted fresh and made to order. Will be making my return here! read more

Definitely enjoyed the XTREME Pizza! I will get this again, it is amazing! We were there during a down time but I heard that happy hour is a totally different thing, since it's a popular spot! Service was excellent and the waiter was super friendly:-) The atmosphere is sports bar on one side with plenty of TV screens to do what we do best in Texas...watch sports! Enjoy - Bon Appetite!! read more

Okay, this is a tough review to write. As others have stated, the service sucks. However, the food was very delicious. Service was not up to par. I can't help thinking because we were a colored family, maybe that was why. I saw other families (white) who had prompt service. I saw a table with a little kid who got pizza dough to play with! Wow I thought, that's cool. How come my kids weren't offered the same thing. Please do better. I will be back because my family loved the pizza. I did not like the feeling of being overlooked. Having to get up 3-4 times to speak to a manager is not cool. I get it, you've only been open for a month, but there were a ton of workers, so you can't tell me you lack staff. I had to ask for a free dessert because of our wait. I was shocked that not more was done in terms of our check, but I get it, bills and staff need to be paid. I felt bad for the bartender because she was doing double duty, making drinks and serving customers. They need to put more staff in that area if they are going to seat people there. read more

We are big Stillwater Oklahoma Hideaway fans so it's awesome to have one so close. There is a good size bar, great atmosphere and even rooftop. Staff is polite and good but almost all lack any knowledge or fondness for the original location or OSU. Guess it's to be expected with a franchise but disappointing. The food is just as good and it's our now number 1 spot for pizza. The one bid miss is limited sports on the TVs. Management is missing out by not paying for the extra sports packages. We watched several people leave on a Sunday because they could watch their team. read more

Pizza was yummy. And service was great. Place was packed for a Friday at 5:30pm. Bellini was good. Small pizza was more than enough for one person. read more

Met a friend here for lunch during a weekday and since I got there a bit early I had a chance to pour over the menu. It's a big one that offers plenty of non pizza options if you are looking to add an appetizer or just in the mood for something else. I decided to stick with the namesake and take advantage of the $3 off a small pizza lunch promotion and ordered the Hurricane with BBQ sauce (~$14 with promo pricing -- Chedder, Pineapple, Canadian bacon, bacon, jalapeños). Overall the pizza was pretty good and I think there is more on their speciality menu I'd like to try but the service was a bit hit and miss. When it came time for the check we asked to split it so It was slightly confusing when our server came back again to ask which card was which. After confirming which one was mine they ran them as separate checks vs split and but mixed up our orders, leaving me with a bill about twice as much as I was expecting. It wasn't a big deal so I didn't bother correcting it, but our server seemed a little inexperienced and stressed, often coming back to confirm things we had ordered versus writing them down. I think Hideaway should likely invest a bit a bit more into training their staff to smooth out an otherwise great experience. I think this place may have just been having an off day so I'm open to coming back to give it another shot as they serve up a pretty good pizza. Overall I think the small pizza lunch deal is a pretty good one and the best time to try this place out. read more

Ordered a sausage and peppers pizza, and Cesar salad. The service was good once our server showed up. The restaurant is like a sports bar so lots of tvs to check out if you're looking for that. The pizza crust was very good. We got the hand tossed. The sauce was good but the toppings were mediocre. read more

Ordered meatball mariana. FAKE MEAT!! They may call these meatballs but they taste like absolute ass. Almost looks like wet cardboard formed into a ball. Corporate needs to buy better quality instead of taking the cheap way out. 3 meatballs come with this order I left all 3 meatballs on the plate and left. We really wanted this place to work out since they are in our neighborhood. Every time we come here it gets worse. Good quality food is hard to find these days. Waitress was friendly read more

We decided to try Hideaway Pizza today after passing by several times. The pizza and appetizers are really good. Service was on point. This menu has a lot to choose from. We had the fried pickles and an appetizer and they were the great. The restaurant is decorated well and very spread out with lots of tables. If you are going for dinner make sure you join the waitlist on line. We went around 430 and were able to get right in but by 6pm there were a lot of people waiting to get in to eat. read more

I had been to a location in OKC & forgot that I had until my husband and I decided to go last weekend. The service, food and atmosphere were just what we were looking for. We plan on taking our daughter here this weekend & plan to recommend this to anyone I know. read more

Hideaway Pizza has a ton of space and I'd say it's pretty casual. The menu has a lot of different options but of course we came to try the pizza. It came to the table hot and fresh! We have gone to the Mckinney location a few times and it was OK. We went to Plano tonight for a 10 person birthday party and we were SO impressed with the excellent service and yummy hot food. Great drink specials and snacks ! Haven't tried the pizza yet but looking forward to it.

My family decided to give this place a try on a Friday night since we almost always have pizza on Friday nights. The place was packed. We waited about 25 minutes, but it was well worth it. We got a table next to a window. The server was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the kitchen was backed up, and it took a little while to get our pizza. In the meantime, we had a couple of beers and a salad, as well as some garlic knots. It was all amazing. When the pizza came, it was yummy, too. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Because, they took a while to serve the food, they compted the garlic knots and gave us not one but two desserts. (The desserts were a mistake because the server asked us which one we wanted, and the manager did the same.) All in all I highly recommend this place. Just be prepared to wait a little during their busies times. It is very popular. I love the kite motifs throughout the restaurant. read more

Hideaway Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Plano, Texas

It's opening day for the first Hideaway Pizza in Texas. It's 32 miles and 1 hour away from my house. I arrived at 11:30am and was seated immediately. This is one of the largest restaurants they build. The service was great all of the wait staff had trainers working with them and everything seemed to be running very smoothly for an opening day. I was not in any hurry and my waitress let me order my appetizer and finish eating it and then order my pizza. I started with six Buffalo Hot Wings they were crispy, sauced just right and were tasty. For lunch I had The Boz Pizza with mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar and cooked extra crispy. It came out just as I ordered it and was great The experience was just as it always is at Hideaway, Great! As side notes I love their crust it's airy like old school pan pizza and they have the best cheese and red pepper shakers of any pizza parlor I've been to. read more

Service with a smile and welcoming attitude as we walked in. Food was great. Piping hot made to order pizza with extra pepperoni for me. Excellent, will come back.
