The store "forgot" to include the salad that was ordered. I called, and the manager said he would refund the cost of the salad, but he could not confirm a refund in writing. I understand this is a $10 item, but he was fine dismissing us as 10+ year customers, so pretty easy for us to move on to another local pizza delivery place. What the hell has happened to Marco's Pizza? It used to be delicious. Plenty of sauce plenty of cheese, was hot and bubbly, far better than other pizza chains. Over the last year, it has continue to deteriorate. Tonight I gave it one more try. I rarely write reviews unless they are excellent ones. But this pizza was so terrible. I felt compelled to write this negative review. It says on their website they were founded by an Italian, the dough is made fresh every day, they only use fresh cheese and vegetables, etc. I guarantee you the mushrooms on my pizza were not fresh. You can tell the difference between a canned mushroom and a fresh mushroom. The green peppers were so sparse. It was a joke. It was dry, hardly any sauce, hardly any cheese, the taste was nothing like the old Marco's. The thin crust, mushroom and green pepper pizza I received is so bad after eating a couple pieces. I'm throwing the rest in the trashcan. It's really that bad. Wow. What a shame to see a company go downhill like this. read more

I got my new favorite pizza here, the triple pepperoni magnifico! Its fantastic! Also wanted to say I felt so bad for the employees here today (oct25) It was very busy and backed up so everyone coming in for pickup orders had to wait a bit but all the employees are so nice, especially the girl working the phones and front desk! She kept apologizing for the wait time and Ive worked at restaurants before so I understand being in that situation is so stressful! Im surprised at how many grown adults do not have any patience when its very clear that everyone is working as fast as they can... Anyway, I hope the rest of the night goes okay for then because there was a total Karen that was complaining to the manager when I left.. Called the store after waiting 30 minutes past promised time. They answered and said my address and said it was on the way. Mind you we live 3 -4 miles from the store. Great food, but the was website was wrong about the delivery time so often that I switched to carry out most of the time. Well, I ordered delivery today for the first time in a long time... big mistake. My pizza should have been here 20 minutes ago, and I just got a text stating that it would be here in 50 minutes, which is 70 minutes AFTER it was originally supposed to be here. I would have picked it up had I known it was going to take this long. As a mom of a 3 y/o and 6 y/o, I wouldn't have paid an extra $10 to wait an extra 80 minutes. So frustrating! read more

Again, horrible communication. It's been a while since I ordered here. I usually order the large pizza (around $9.75). I asked for it again and it came up to be $16.30. I asked, "why so much?" Tried Marco's pizza for the first time last night. I called the Rolater location and they said they didn't delivered to my house. Call to the Prosper location- the gentleman tells me the same but offers me free cheesy bread if I go to pick it up. Yes!!! This location is in the middle of huge houses in prosper. It's only 13 mins drive from my house. Friday evenings seems to be super busy at Marcos. All the families picking up pizzas. So I was excited because that's a good sign. I wasn't wrong- the pizza is delicious! I don't think I will order from Pizza Hut/dominos ever again. If I want fast food pizza this is the place to go. I just wish they will deliver to my house. The cheese bread was crispy, soft in the inside and the right amount of cheese on top. The pepperoni is the small round one that my husband loves!! We order the fancy cheese and had like 4 different cheeses!! Soooo good! We ordered them extra well done and they were just like we wanted them. We also ordered the meat pizza and the sausage they use is the good kind! Not the one that's way too salty. The staff at the store was incredible. Very attentive and so efficient. Called the business twice in the 30 mins and they told me they didn't know how long until my pizza would arrive. They were very rude and the manager refused to get on the phone. We started going to Marco's about 18 months ago, always take out. Over the last year or so the quality of the food has gone down from being the best pizza in the area to now being average, sometimes below average. Also, it sure seems like it has gotten smaller, and a lot less ingredients, in addition to it frequently just not being as flavorful. The service though is LOUSY. Tonight we placed the order online; I arrived about 5 minutes after it was to be ready, and there were 6-10 people waiting inside and in their cars, all waiting for their pizza. I tried to find out if our pizza was ready, and the person at the register would not take any info, just stating all pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes. Thirty minutes later, I asked about our pizza and was told it was "being cut". Ten minutes later and after asking again, one person said it hadn't been started, and another stated it had been made. After a search, they found that it had been assigned to someone else, and they handed it to me. When I got home, I realized that it was not our pizza, and the extra we paid for the sausage (and probably for thick crust) was wasted. A previous time, the pizza was over an hour LATE, as they gave away our pizza to someone else, then made the wrong pizza for us and had to remake it. It was the best pizza in the area back then, so there was a reason to go back. We will not be going back! read more

We have been regular customers of this location since they opened, but no more. Tonight I ordered a medium thin crust pepperoni pizza with a 20 ounce Pepsi. We only live a 1/2 mile away, but with a 4 year old it's easier to pay a delivery fee than to get her in the car when she doesn't want to go. After ordering I was told my pizza would be delivered in 30 to 40 minutes. By the time 55 minutes went by with no pizza, I called. I explained the situation and was told to hold for a manager. The next man to pick up did not identify himself, and when I explained what I was holding for I was told that there had been an accident on one of the roads and that all drivers were currently out on other deliveries. MY PIZZA WASN'T EVEN READY YET. I cancelled my order after no apology or offer of a discount was forthcoming. Plenty of other pizza places to choose from. Marco's, you dropped the ball and you've lost a customer. This is the THIRD time something like this has happened, but the first time I actually called about. 3 strikes, you're out! read more

Everyone loves pizza but, when you can't eat pizza this is a fantastic option to have. I was excited for this and, got the Deluxe. When it arrived I dug right in. It was big and, only $8? Second time ordering delivery from this location last night and every aspect has been 5 stars both times. We live in Celina, there are no good pizza places around and the Italian places in prosper either don't deliver or have surprisingly subpar pie for the price. Although we are right on the edge of their delivery zone and only order food for 2, the guys get the pizzas here early and still hot! If you got a family to feed, but have a little bit of taste, skip the huts dominos etc and order from this Marcos! Good pizza, poor service! The mobile app lets you specify parm and pepper packs, but they literally only give you one of each for an XL specialty pizza. The delivery driver rings the doorbell, drop the pizza on the ground and run as if its 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. I'll no longer add a tip to the online order. They can ring the doorbell and get cash AFTER providing me a reasonable number of parm and pepper packets. read more

I love the pizza here and for that I'm giving them 5 stars for that reason only. I see the negative reviews on service. This is a small chain who have clearly had some challenges in getting quality help in a town such as Prosper. I'd shame some of your reviews based on service in the fact you have no idea how harmful this can also be to these smaller businesses. Aside from the pandemics issues finding help in Prosper USA is tough. Many of the kids aren't expected to hold jobs due to parents income levels. It leaves the small and family business to struggle but we expect expert service regardless. Stop it. The food, for a pizza joint is very good. They have a great thin crust which can be a challenge to get right in the pizza world. They've figured it out. As for the service related complaints and poor reviews id challenge folks to reconsider and scroll through the reviews and make a decision based on those weeded out. read more

We have pizza night every Friday night, with a large extended family that comes over. We traditionally get Domino's in Celina, but wanted to give a new, local Prosper business a chance, so we tried Marco's, despite some less than favorable reviews. We placed an order well in advance (2hrs) and asked them to deliver at 7pm. We called on its status at 7:15 and they said it was on the way. At 7:45 we called and they didn't have our order. We have several children under the age of 6 here that get ready/go to bed at 8 and needed to eat. The pizza came at 8, mouth burning hot. It was 'ok' but no better than Domino's and certainly not worth having a house full of hungry kids and parents waiting around and having to round up our order.
