I've been coming here for a few years or since they opened. It's always amazing food. Unless you have uber pick it up which Mod doesn't allow anymore cause uber eats is worthless. So today was the first time I encountered any issues. We called in an order. We showed up and paid and had a seat. I watched as my pizza came from the oven to the counter. I stayed patient while there was no one boxing. I don't like cold food so after a few minutes I walked up to the counter and noticed nine pizzas waiting to be cut and boxed. I got the attention of someone and asked for my food. With a bit of attitude he began cutting pizzas and seemingly purposely made me wait while he cut the others and boxed them before handing it to me. Turns out he was the general manager. I don't put up with attitude when it comes to food I'm paying for. So I requested a refund. Good luck Mod. I'll miss you. Just not the attitude. read more

I'm ecstatic that I now have a location right by house. I absolutely love this place. Being a new business, everything was new and clean on the inside. The staff were all nice and the pizza was wonderful as always. The only thing I didn't like was that there are only air dryers in the restroom, vs. paper towels (I hate having to touch the handle of the door after washing my hands). Fast and inexpensive pizza. The environment is friendly from the cook staff. The line can be ling at dinner time but it moves fast. You can create your own artesian style pizza. It feels like a subway restaurant but it sells pizza. read more

Not sure the meat and potatoes suburbs are ready for gluten free crust and soy cheese, but here we are and by the way where is the proscuitto? Got to mirror some previous comments this is a nice addition to the very stale white bread that is suburbia, hidden between a particularly awful what a booger and subway (well the subway is actually hidden) but this place stands out like a beacon, which is good. Cleanliness does leave something to be desired, service was merely adequate, but any pizza place worth it's weight should have good proscuitto and NO that canadian bacon nonsense isn't the same thing or even close, so forget that notion.. A proscuitto & arugula pizza is a work of art, joy, and speaks volumes on the quality of the ingredients (which clearly they pride themselves on here) but alas isn't to be had. Ate something far more mundane unfortunately, and while it was good it could have been great. I'd say this is probably a fine option for children, and picky eaters (gives them the stink eye) because basically this is the subway of pizza, you make it to your specs, which is a nice option. Food quality is good to slightly above average, service is adequate, they could keep this store cleaner though. All in all, I'm not sure this is going to survive suburbia this is definitely more of an inner loop franchise, but we shall see.. read more

This is now one of my favorite pizza places. I walked in to see three friendly gentlemen behind the counter who worked together to get everyone's order accurate and made sure that each person understood the menu choices. (i.e. the Mega isn't any bigger than the Mod, it's more so another layer of pizza). Once I paid for my food, one of the employees described the house made lemonades and teas and suggested I try them out as I waited for my pizza, which did not take long at all. (BTW, the bake it quickly in a brick oven). The pizza was definitely awesome and I'll be back soon! read more

This is my second time visiting this location since it opened. Today was my birthday and the staff went put of their way to make me feel special! Cody the manager and his staff were all great, helpful, and friendly! I thoroughly loved my experiencd from beginning to end. I am so excited to have the location near me and will definitely be back! Very disappointed with this place. Ordered my pizza with broccoli on it. There was too much salt in the broccoli. Salty broccoli ruined the whole taste of the pizza. I complained about it to the employee and he did nothing. Will never come back to this place again, very bad customer service. I specially goto Mod pizza near outlet mall on 290. Had Mod Pizza for the first time about 3 weeks ago and except for it being a little pricey, to me, it is the best pizza I have ever eaten. And the service is awesome. First time trying this place out. Pizza was great, not a huge fan of thin crust however in this case it worked. It was great to pick and choose what went on my pizza without being over charged. My pizza was good but my experience was awful. No one was in line but me, took about 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. Then I had to keep telling the girl to add more stuff and she would add one piece at a time. after she was done it took another 5 minutes before someone rung me up at the register. Keep in mind that I was the only one in line. Then when my pizza did come out the oven it sat on the counter for about 2 minutes before any of them cut it and called my name. They were all standing around talking to each other. I am still trying to understand how businesses allow this along with texting while working. Customer service is everything. I have to say the customer service was AMAZING! Jonathan made sure that we were taken care of in every way! We had a mistake in our order and he personally fixed it and then brought it right to our table. He saw that we had a birthday cake and wished the birthday girls a happy birthday and offered to buy them a birthday shake. He even brought us plates for our cake and just made sure we were taken care of. MOD pizza is actually one of my favorite places so its unfortunate that I have to give this location 2 stars. This location has very bad habits and practices when it comes to food handling. I have come on several occasions and seen this more than once. The line people wear gloves, but the person placing pizzas in the oven does not. So, in my opinion, this person should be extra diligent, but that is not the case at this location. Today, I saw that person on a cell phone, pulling his pants up, rubbing his hair, and then take a pizza out of the oven and touch it with his bare hands to adjust it on the plate. Now, that may seem small, but I do not want to eat germs from your cellphone, your pants, or your hair. Sadly, it was so casual and common I dont even think they considered it at all. Also, this location does a poor job with keeping the restaurant clean. There are usually dirty doors, windows, tables, counters, and floors. So...even though MOD is my favorite pizza place, I think they need to do a better job with food handling and cleanliness of the restaurant. Sorry, Mod :( 2stars. read more

The price is very affordable and fair for a 6" unlimited toppings pizza. I think they ripped me off on my pizza. I barely had any jalapenos or spinach on my pizza, and had a couple of slices of onions. The ingredients are of good quality and the service was good, so I will try it again maybe next week. The crust is really good. It has a doughy texture but isn't super thick and heavy. I prefer to enjoy the toppings rather than the dough. read more

First time eating at MODS was last night. I've been trying to figure out if my feeling/experience was my mood or just the employees. We get to the line to order the pizza (note: 1st time here) the lady behind the counter was annoyed that we didn't know what we were suppose to do. She rushed us like crazy and when I asked for my spinach after she put the cheese you would have thought I committed a sin by the look on her face. I swear she rolled her eyes at me. Then we asked for a salad and well we just shouldn't have asked! That was problem number one. I had to go ask for some Parmesan cheese and I stood at the counter for at least 2 mins while the guy just kept cutting the pizza. Now I know he was busy but when something only takes a sec and I'm standing in front of you say hold on or something don't just ignore me. Then I had to wait for a lid for my cup and man they were just not happy that they had to stop what they were doing to get that! Maybe if they had someone just for the lobby helping the customers and explain the process maybe if that would be so annoyed by their customers. read more
