I went to MOD Pizza last evening and got two pizzas to go. The service was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza, though, was disappointing. One had mixed cheeses and veggies on it. It was fairly tasteless and soggy. The other had mixed meats on it. The ham was super salty and made it difficult to eat. Ordered a MOD and it cooked a bit too long. Edges were a bit crispier than I'd like but i never new because she made a new one and explained the extra time was because she wasn't going to give me slightly burned pizza. Tonight everyone was friendly, and the service was good. Sometimes Mod in general (all locations) the server will make me feel like I am intruding when trying to order my masterpiece, but not tonight. I do tip every time because of all my requests, even though it's counter service. Pizza was crispy and tasty, and it earned me a free mod reward for my next visit. Made quick, and everything was fresh. Last few times it seemed the floors and tables at this location have been a bit dirty for how busy they are. This time the floor was a bit better than previous visits, and the this time all the tables were clean. The flatware and condiments were also stocked better this time, but I took the only packet of parm. I vote for bringing back the shakers, now that Covid is getting behind us, if people are taking too many parm packets. read more

MOD Pizza had been on my bucket list for quite some time till I recently visited them on couple of occasions. The concept is so simple. Just choose all your toppings for your very own customized pie. Its similar to subway, chipotle, but with pizza instead. They also have a pre selected menu for specific type of pizza but I want to create my own beast pie!. You start of with the type of dough, sauce and then work your way thru all the veggies and toppings, meats and cheese. The pizza is prepared in like less than 5 minutes and they call you when its ready to be picked up from the pick up area. Its all nice and neatly sliced up for you, so start digging. My pizzas have been delicious both times. I made sure they were packed with enough toppings (both veggies n meat). Another thing I had them add was tons of garlic. The more the merrier. It turned out to be a spectacular pizza. I've become a believer. I will be back soon. read more

I placed my order with one of the guys behind the counter, super friendly, great customer service. I went to the bathroom while my order was being made and when the lights went on, the roaches went scurrying, YIKES. That's pretty shocking to see, I get it it's a restaurant, but someone has to know there's a pest problem. Counted like 3-4 of them. Left the bathroom to wait for my order and there it was, sitting on a counter I guess meant to cut orders up, next to someone's nasty cell phone and the store's cordless phone. It's insane to me with what we know about how unhygienic personal cell phones can be, that it's ok for one to be right there next to where people's food they are to consume. I go to this MOD on semi regular basis because I like the chain and it's near my house, but this experience really soured me on this place. I almost refused my order and left empty handed, but I decided to just take it and reheat it at home. This is pretty unacceptable. Someone needs to come in a clean house, literally. read more

This is an updated review. After the pandemic this place lost it's touch. They hired just about anyone. The kitchen is dirty, the counter is dirty, and the seating area is dirty. No one cleans anymore?! Did anyone learned anything the past 2 years about high gene? I am just glad that the oven will destroy any bacteria or virus on the way to the box. The employees need direction. No safety practices here! Crocs do not go well in a kitchen. Pants half way the butt is just so unprofessional. Went in this evening and as I waited in line watched the person at the pizza oven take his phone out of his pocket several times and watch videos. Then without washing his hands or using gloves, pick up pizzas bare handed and place them in the oven. Phones are gross and many have urine and fecal material on them from restrooms - do you take your phone with you to the restroom ... I do! What I do not do is prepare food after handling my phone, I asked him to wash his hands before handling my pizza and he begrudgingly did. You guys need to do better and your employees do not need to be on their phones watching videos on social media. That work area was filthy, you should be cleaning on your downtime and not watching videos on your phone! read more

MOD Pizza is like the Chipotle of pizza companies, people. That's honestly the best way I can describe it. They charge you a flat rate for the pizza. They have a smorgasbord of toppings. There is one thing I really like about coming here, as opposed to ordering delivery from other companies. You can have any combination of toppings you want, and they don't charge you extra for adding toppings. The frustrating thing about other fast food pizza companies is that each additional topping is typically $2 or more. Ain't nobody got time for that!!! Every pizza is cooked in 3 minutes. Their pizza oven is at 900 degrees Farenheit, so it cooks really quick. Their standard pizza is a thin and crispy, cracker style crust. The tomato sauce is good. The toppings are fresh. The price is reasonable. It's definitely better than most pizza places. My favorite of their specialty pizzas is called the Mad Dog, which is similar to a meat lover's pizza. Very good pizza, indeed. If MOD Pizza partners with a delivery app, they would get a five star rating. They could then offer their specialty pizzas, like the Mad Dog. They also could have a create your own pizza section. In my opinion, that kind of quality yet customizable pizza at MOD Pizza's prices would change the fast food pizza game. Plus, it is an effective way to keep customers and employees safe during these crazy times. But overall, I give MOD Pizza a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Keep up the good work! read more

First time at Mod Pizza due to School Spirit Night. There was no greeting, stood in line for 10-12 mins without being acknowledged- meanwhile the 2 employees behind the counter were preparing online orders. When it was finally our turn we placed our order and the employee had trouble remembering the toppings for a Meat Lovers. While waiting I went to the restroom where there was no toilet paper and was not clean. Pizza about 15-20 mins- which was not very tasty, it was salty and no flavor. read more

Terrible experience. When we first arrived, there were 4 groups of people in front of us. We were the fifth group. There was one employee working the front line. The other "front line " employee was starting to break down his station. It was clearly too busy to do that. We waited 15 minutes in line. We watched the other employee move his station back and forth twice. Finally a shift manager came out. I asked her if they had anyone who could help. She said this is it. She gave the guy a look. He brought his station BACK over(for the third time). When he started taking our order, the First Lady left!!! So all the people behind us had the same slow experience we did. Sometimes good, sometimes great. Service is hit and miss, mostly hit. My wife likes pineapple on hers, always asks them to squeeze out the juice first so as to not make the pizza soggy. Once they squeezed the juice onto the pizza and put the pineapple back in the bin. We were both trying to stop him to no avail. So I'm eating gluten free now & Mod is one that offers those. When it's fresh & hot, it's ok. Don't keep & try to reheat the next day bc something happens & it really doesn't taste right. The first time I went must have been opening week because the line wrapped around and then second time around there were probably a couple in front of us. I should have requested them to shred it up a bit.... it was way too salty that I ended up picking them out. Learned to get the smallest size, less sauce and more veggies. Definitely makes a difference because I cant stand soggy pizza lol. It's nice and crisp. Definitely goes well with some ranch dipping sauce! I might end up trying their dairy free cheese next time. This MOD is nothing like the one in Towne Lake. I went in a little after 11am & there were just a few people in front of me. The lady who was taking orders was great & I was expecting good things, however, the music is so loud it hindered the ordering process. We had to repeatedly shout back & forth, as we couldn't understand one another. The line barely moved because they were short staffed. When it was finally my turn, I ordered pepperoni pizza and garlic strips to go. It took forever to just give them my money & as soon as I did they were hollering my name. Sadly, they still hadn't put my pizza in the oven & I really wanted them to both to be warm. I told the lady cutting the pizzas that I didn't want them until my whole order was ready since it was to go. Several people complained about the music volume, but there wasn't anything they could do. I finally received my order & was so glad to get out of there. The pizza was a step below Pizza Hut & below the charts when compared to the Towne Lake location. It was loud, dirty, & inefficient. I can't imagine how bad it would be if it were busy.
