They were perfectly fried and paired nicely with the 4th spiced salsa. I will definitely be back soon to have these again Overall: 10/10! Definitely recommend!

Definitely a taste of home outside of San Diego and Tijuana. Finding authentic TJ flavor in Texas (not Tex-Mex) was a welcome surprise! Our carne asada was grilled al carbón and you could taste the char! Juicy carne full of flavor, thin but strong and tasty tortillas (they really held everything together well), perfect chunky guac (not too fancy or full of fillers--IYKYK), and a variety of delicious salsas and hot sauces! An added bonus was the complimentary chicharrones! I'll take those over tortilla chips any day! The dining room isn't very big, but it's clean and has good a/c....there's an outdoor patio as well. Service was fast and friendly. Tacos and burritos were hefty and full of flavor. Ample parking. Limited indoor seating, and since it gets busy we usually order to go. When I did dine in it was nice experience, feels authentic like eating a local spot in Mexico. You have the Mexican cokes available, the style of tacos has a big scoop of guac which makes them a bit unique compared to other spots that charge extra for guac. Their tacos are big too! Not the mini small taco tortillas you get in a food truck. These are big tacos so getting 2 is enough for me. I've tried their Asado tacos and their quesadillas and their quesabirrias all 10/10.

I ordered two drinks instead of three and I disputed that and he ended up telling me to get out of his restaurant and he picked up the phone to call the police keep in mind. It's tucked off in Houston Texas somewhere I'm here for work. I decide to go to a friendly bar, which I thought it was I went there and dined there I paid for my food I tipped and then on my way home. I was like that was a cool place. Let me go back so I went back to order the same drink that I ordered, but then insert the manager his name is Michael I think but I'm gonna put the address here and the phone number please don't patronize these people until you know that they've done right by other people. It was a Hispanic male. The manager you chose to represent your brand but could not represent it. I try to support local businesses but this type of service is uncalled for. I am at a conference and let all the patrons that were about to meet me there what happened. Management please do better. I called you guys, no answer and the run around about the manager's name at this location. Very rude and called the cops!! Please save your money. It's so many restaurants around don't go here unless they change the management. I still would be sus tho. They are tucked in the back so word of mouth is really all they got. As a GM of an establishment myself, this was totally uncalled for. An $8 that I would have gladly payed for because I had just come in there hours before with no issues. There's even a security guard on site, which only adds to the impression that this place is fire. So when I happened to drive by on a 100-degree afternoon and found no line, I took it as a sign to finally give it a try. The small parking lot adjacent to the truck was nearly empty, except for a few other patrons who probably had the same idea. Ordering was simple and to the point. The menu keeps things straightforward: a selection of meats served as tacos or plates with a handful of sides. I ordered two barbacoa tacos with salsa verde. Less than two minutes after placing my order, they were in my hands. Fast service on a scorching day is always appreciated. With no seating available, I retreated to the comfort of my car to eat. Based on the amount of grease packed into these tacos, I would recommend doing the same. Eating them while standing could end with your shirt becoming an unintended side dish. One thing to note: don't count on a generous napkin supply. I realized after returning to my car that none were included. Consider keeping a few emergency fast-food napkins in your glove compartment. Those leftover Taco Bell napkins may finally fulfill their destiny. The barbacoa was flavorful, the salsa verde complemented it well, and overall, the tacos were overall tasty. That said, I left somewhat underwhelmed considering the crowds I routinely see gathered here during lunch and dinner hours. Perhaps I'm missing the standout item that keeps customers lining up daily. Even so, if you happen to have cash in your pocket and find yourself craving authentic tacos, this truck is certainly worth a stop.

I don't like cinnamon but the horchata was addicting and it paired so well with the food. My friend got their Melon Agua Fresca and he said it was really refreshing as well. The gorditas were stuffed and they were so delicious, the cheese was melting and the bread was warm and not dry. The Quesadillas were my favorite. You put both the red sauce and the green sauce on it, a lot of lime juice, and it's perfect. I forgot to order cilantro on mine but they do give you it at no extra cost.
