Pay it forward by buying a meal for someone in need.

Great restaurant, amazing staff and management team. I have eaten here several times and the food is always amazing. The location stays busy and they offer fast and friendly service. Beyond their food, they have a pay it forward program that allows people to prepay for meals and for someone in need to come in for a free meal. Very admirable and makes me want to support the business even more.

The staff was great, very hospitable, I should have gotten his name. The food came in togo boxes which I think is ingenious! I wish other places did this. The servings were large enough to take home, though the food was so good, I wish I could have eaten all of it in one sitting. Chicken was tender-meat was very flavorful. Looking forward to my leftovers!

I saw this place on yelp and decided to try it for lunch. I walked in and was promptly greeted. I decided to try the bbq beef which came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was delicious!! The beef was so tender and tasty. The macaroni salad was my favorite. Ill definitely be back and definitely recommend this restaurant

This place really hit the spot. I was looking for some authentic Hawaiian bbq since I haven't had it since Maui. Chicagoland area doesn't really produce any good ones. It's located in a strip mall with ample parking. When you walk in, you order from the counter, then you sit down, and they bring it out for you. We got the family meal that feeds 4-6. It comes with white rice, macaroni salad, crab rangoon, and you select 3 kinds of meat. We chose bbq chicken, kalua pork, and kalbi short ribs. We also got spam musubi. Service was excellent. The staff was really nice and attentive. Bbq chicken was flavorful and tender. Very little chew. Kalua pork was moist and bursting with flavor after that first bite. Highly recommend. Kalbi short ribs was perfectly cooked and juicy. Spam musubi you have to eat it together because spam itself is salty. The rice and seaweed evens out the saltiness. Prices were fair for the amount of food.

I had a pretty good experience at aloha Hawaiian BBQ. Food was good, service was great, and portions were sizable. I got the Hawaiian bbq and chicken katsu. The flavors were very good, but the beef felt a bit over cooked. I especially liked the special katsu curry sauce. The macaroni salad was also pretty good Also - the spam musubi was a highlight! It had a unique flavor that really grew on me. This was really fun to try. Service was really phenomenal here. Our food came out super fast & the workers were all very nice and personable. The actual shop itself was decent inside. It was a bit small, but had some nice decorations. Overall, I'd recommend stopping in here - I had a good experience & it was fun to try some new cuisine :)

Located on 1960, this Hawaiian restaurant provides exceptional service, quality food, and big portions. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and given great detail about the menu. The prices are reasonable as well, especially for the amount of food you get. If you're looking for a restaurant with one of the best chicken katsu in town, this is the place to go.

You come in and right away your welcomed and let me tell you the soothing Hawaiian music is just right for the ambiance. Menu is very extensive: we ordered the garlic shrimp combo, Hawaiian bbq mix, lumpia, crab rangoon and guava drink! Oh almost forgot, I also ordered Thai tea.. The smell is so good!! Great service

It's been a long time since I've tasted a Chicken Katsu sauce that reminded me of my time in Hawaii. Thankfully the rest of the food did not disappoint either! This was a to go order for a small family get together and it not only made my wife and I extremely happy but also my cousin who reminisced about her honeymoon in Hawaii as well. The macaroni salad was superb as was all of the meat we ordered. The only thing I was not particularly fond of was the Crab Rangoon but I still ate a few pieces. This is the best Hawaiian I've had in the states since leaving Hawaii in '04. Whenever we pass through Houston again, we will be eating here.

Why 5 stars? Because this was the most "hit-the-spot" meal I've had in a long time. --- --- --- We were in the area doing something with our son and were on the hunt for where we'd be going to dinner after. I'd gotten up early that morning to play basketball, so I was in the kind of zone where I felt like I could eat the entire inventory of whichever restaurant we chose. We ended up here and I'm so glad we did. Whenever at a Hawaiian restaurant, it's hard for me to choose anything other than the Kalbi (short ribs). It came with white rice and macaroni salad. Every bite was perfect. I became happier and happier with each bite. There was some kind of dipping sauce that came with it, which was awesome to drizzle on top of the rice. We also ordered some spam musubi and some POG juice to wash it all down. All of it was great. I would be one of their best customers if this place was not 45ish minutes from my house. The owner/manager told me they had been in business for 7 years, which shocked me because they only had 51 reviews as of our visit. Support this place, people of Northwest Houston!

I have been coming here for a couple of years and love everything about the place! All the food is delicious and fresh, and I highly recommend the bbq dishes and the curry. The Aloha juices are all delicious and a little sweet but a great addition to the savory food they serve. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they want everyone to enjoy themselves. The place may look like just a hole in the wall, but its cozy island vibe is warm and fun.

We came wanting to try something different than what we usually eat, and we're excited to try this new place. We ordered the short ribs, pulled pork, and garlic shrimp. The short ribs, and garlic were pretty good. Everything needed a bit more salt. I didn't like the flavor of the pulled pork and it was too dry and overcooked.

First time ever trying this place, I seen this building so many times but finally gave in based on other reviews of this location, the place while small packs a big punch of flavor and hospitality we were greeted as soon as coming in. As soon as we came in we were asked if this was our first time and they gave us recommendations based on the "Hawaiian Favorites" which were really good I had the Hawaiian bbq mix and she had the seafood mix both were delicious. Both meals came with the rice and macaronis salad which was so good and tasty, the beef was really good to include the short rib also really loved the cabbage underneath the meats!! I almost forgot the sauce that is serves on the sides is perfect for both the meats and rice... Will definitely come again.'

Everything we had was flavorful, delicious, and all the meat was moist! I can't wait to come back and I'm sad it took me so long to find this place! Highly recommend!! Service was helpful and friendly. The restaurant felt very clean, spacious, and modern with a lot of natural light. They brought our food out to our table and gave us napkins and utensils, so we didn't have to get up and get them ourselves. Absolutely a great dining experience! The portions are also big! My bf and I each got a Hawaiian Favorite combo and couldn't finish them. The entrees are easily two servings for me, so it's a great value! The containers the food comes in are microwavable too, so extra bonus points for easy reheating! If you do manage to finish an entree in one sitting though, you will be stuffed! It wasn't mentioned on the menu, but there's steamed/sautéed cabbage under the meat. It looked a little deceiving because I thought it was just a huge pile of meat, only to find cabbage under. Thankfully, I love cabbage and appreciated that there were veggies to balance the heaviness of all the meat. That being said, there was still a lot of meat, just not as much as it looked like at first. They also give you little containers of sauce depending on which entree you get, which really enhanced the meal. If you get bbq beef or chicken, you get a delicious, sweet, Hawaiian bbq sauce. If you get the chicken katsu, you get a sauce that resembles sweet and sour. If you get a combo that has both bbq meat and chicken katsu, you get both sauces. I poured the sauce over the rice to season the plain white rice, then poured the rest on the meat even though it didn't really need it. BBQ CHICKEN: Moist, flavorful, and delicious!! Comes in small to large chunks. BBQ BEEF: Moist, flavorful, and delicious!! Comes in thin slices. CHICKEN KATSU: Moist! Fresh, crunchy breading! Tastes better with the sweet and sour-like sauce provided than on its own. KALBI SHORT RIBS: Delicious! Moist! Has fatty bits, unlike the bbq beef, which I really liked! Very similar, if not the same, flavor as the bbq beef. MACARONI SALAD: Delicious and flavorful! Tastes just like potato salad.

My BMP calamansi margarita was distinct in its tanginess. Tried the veggie lumpias and brussel sprouts. The lumpias had tangy dipping sauce that might have been dominated by calamansi. More tang than savory. The brussel sprouts were standard but had a good portion. I tried to detect whether they used fish sauce but I couldn't tell. Ordered the daing na bangus (milkfish) as my entree. They gave me the whole fish and it threw me off that it was mostly deboned since I kept looking for the bones with my tongue and teeth. Fish was nice and crispy and the dipping sauce was more savory than what came with the lumpias. The garlic rice that came with the dish was smoky from that wok hay. Probably could have used a little more soy sauce for flavouring. My favourite dish was the turon dessert (fried bananas) along with the ube ice cream. The coconut sauce they used seemed more like caramel. I haven't eaten much Filipino food so I wasn't sure how authentic the dishes were. I was expecting a little more intensity in the flavours, and I don't know if it was toned down for their customers. There were around ten customers that night. The inside was beautiful and they have a two level patio that is perfect for nights like these. The service was very nice and the kitchen was faster than I expected.
