Catfish and shrimp platter
Tiffany J.

5 star for the amount of food given for the price! I got Cajun style catfish and shrimp platter and it came with so much food! The taste was good as well. I also got a Crazy Burger for my daughter, and it was THE BIGGEST BURGER EVER. Nice price, laid back diner style food.

Onion rings, onions were not cooked long enough I notified Ms Kim and she treated me with lack of concern. Did not fix issue

The young lady who took my order was very Nice!!! i ordered a double burger and onion rings. I walked up to an older lady, which I think her name was Kim. I told her that I didn't like the onion rings( the were not cooked properly ( onions were somewhat raw) so I attempt to hand them to her asking could she replace them with a 1/2 order of fries and my request was quickly denied I went back to my seat and thought "how easy it could have been for her to give me 1/2 order of fries, due to the 1/2 cooked onion rings service is not the same anymore I will attempt to show a picture of the rings. I spent a little over 20.00$

5pcs Fried Oreo

We order burgers all around. The burgers were delicious! They gave us an order of fried Oreos on the house. They were actually pretty good too! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the tea was awful unfortunately. I chose not to drink with my meal.

Bacon avocado burger

We ordered the bacon avocado burger and bacon avocado chicken sandwich. Asked for chicken sandwich to be cut in half and was told no, that they don't like cutting it in half. Lol. Okay. Not sure why, when we got the sandwich, there were 2 chicken like strips. The burger and the sandwich are huge. The burger was much better than the chicken sandwich. The bread! Always good.

Nast watered down soap in the bathroom

We've always loved the JLB on Stella Link, so we assumed this location would offer the same quality. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. When our food arrived, we weren't given any condiments. The teenager at the counter disappeared into the kitchen, and after waiting about 10 minutes, she never came back. By this point, our food had gone cold. Frustrated, I went behind the counter and grabbed mustard, mayo, and ranch from the fridge where I could see they were stored. When the employee finally reappeared and I explained what I had done, both she and (I assume) the owner just glared at me for the rest of our meal. To top it off, when I went to the restroom, the soap was watered down to the point of being ineffective--possibly a cost-cutting measure. If they're skimping on hygiene in a public restroom, I can't help but worry about what corners they're cutting in the kitchen.

Crazy Burger -raw meat

The first time we ate from here it was delicious. That's why we went back but this time. Our meat was undercooked but the manager was not having it. She made sure to tell us she was not wrong and she was not happy we asked to remake it. I will say after all the misunderstanding we did get fried Oreos on the house. And I appreciate it that.

I'm not joking when I say this, but this is the best burger I've ever had. The burgers are huge!! And the buns are amazing. The fries and onion rings are also amazing too.

The regular cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, and sweet potato fries
Melanie S.

My husband and I both said "shockingly good food." I got the bacon burger with sweet potato fries, he got the regular cheeseburger, and it was all unbelievably delicious! They were so flavorful, and the homemade buns were light and fluffy and airy, not dense and heavy, so I could eat more of the huge burger than I usually can at other burger restaurants! The service was good and quick, and the atmosphere was nice! They had one TV playing sports, and one playing old black-and-white movies. I loved the latter. I never see that in restaurants! They had outdoor seating which was really nice, but the eatery is sadly right next to the highway, so it was too loud to talk out there. Nice spot if you're alone, though.

Kids burger
Tangerine Q.

Disappointed that I added fries to a kids meal because they charged an additional 3.50 like they do to adult size burgers but, they give you way less fries. If I get less fries to make my kids meal a combo then I should pay less money to make it combo.

Clutch City Grill - Looks like it does in the pictures, best burger in Houston.

Clutch City Grill

Galleria/Uptown

If you're looking for a DAMN good smash burger look no further!!! Clutch City Grill burger combo is…read morea perfect example of classics done right. Patty- juicy and full of flavor, Bun- toasted and soft at the same time, fries were crispy and salted to perfection and everything in between. Puts its local competitors to shame. The ambiance is fast casual, lots of seating, people socializing, and a vibe that makes you ask yourself why you haven't visited earlier. Service was quick and friendly, they made great recommendations for first time customers. I actually ordered the wrong shake on accident and they gave me a second one for free. Glad to see that even in this economy the staff doesn't nickel and dime you. Great people Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a casual date, I'd honestly use any excuse to stop by again!

So this place has a burger that's basically $20 (add bacon and it's 20)--and let me just say, they…read morecould charge $30! 'Cause it's worth it! A standard smashed Double cheeseburger and generous extra crispy impressively seasoned waffle fries as you want it cost $16 which is fair since adding the fries vs standalone burger is only $1 price differential. Clutch City Grill sits next to Burger Chan (the most recent title holder of best burger for my son) but this Sunday, they were not open so we tried the one we didn't try last time--CCG. And let me just say that this place tucked away inside a collective indoor food concession aka The Conservatory Galleria, has every right to boldly don the clutch city burger title. Inside this perfectly grilled almost Hawaiian role type hint of sweet homemade bun is a masterclass of burger perfection, made right in front of you and to your liking based on your selections from the order tap screens. While, waiting, I looked at everything I didn't order as it was being served and I'm almost certain that anything you order at CCG is delicious. Presentation is superb because others were sitting with large selections in front of them that caused me a bit of buyers remorse--I couldn't decide. The vibe is chill enough to talk to the grill master while my son was figuring out his massive burger order--he randomly had a hash brown added to a patty melt. And ordered something to take home or in case one order wasn't enough for the teen appetite. But the food is massive. I cannot stress that enough. Portions of everything there are beyond generous from what we saw and this is the kind of place where there's delivery guys picking up, people working on their laptops and the average joe grabbing takeout after work as well as families having dinner but not crowded. We sat and reflected on a great shopping day in a chill environment and reminisced on the old days of Galleria area last minute back to school night before/we should do this more type of memories in the making. The take something to go plus my own leftover (cutting the burger in half is an open from the order touch screen) and it passed the ultimate test of being really good cold the next day. This place begs the question--where is everybody? I can't be the only one who knows about it. But also was inviting enough to silently confirm that I think we've found our place. One that even has a cool bathroom with a mirror that says "you look amazing." Exactly how you're going to feel about the food that looks even better than it does in its promo photos

With the recent TikTok, they've been getting a lot of customers so there is a bit of a wait, but totally worth it. The owner is super nice and friendly!!! The vibe there is pretty cool! I went for their breakfast and coffee which was great! I got the pistachio coffee and got the sausage, egg & cheese bagel and it was pretty solid and filling! I came another day to try their burgers and wow! I got the southwest burger and the Mexican burger! My guess is they solicit reviews effectively based on signs throughout. Food- 2 stars I'll start with good. The brussel sprouts offered as an alternate side were pretty solid, we got two options and both had good flavor if not a little over seasoned. The burgers were bad. The patty was totally unremarkable and may be frozen out of the box patty. The rest of the toppings were fine, but nothing outstanding and nothing that could make up for an awful patty. The fries are ok. Drinks- 3 stars Milkshake was ok. Lemongrass Matcha was overly sweet. Service- 5 stars Super nice and helpful counter folks. Atmosphere- 4 stars Nice enough and fairly clean inside with a large outdoor area.

After trying a number of different burger spots it definitely wanted to come here again and make sure that it was living up to my previous experience. Just happened to get there at the right time there was nobody waiting and as soon as I placed my order and grabbed a seat, I turned around, and there was a line of approximately 20 people waiting to order. The seating is all alfresco. I ordered a steak sandwich with fries and a drink. The fried steak was tender and moist and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was friendly and helpful, answered all questions.

Love seeing the lunch rush though because you know it's gonna be good. Ambiance wise, this place is very chill. No indoor area, just order at the counter, get 1 of their outdoor patio tables or take it to go. There was a line to order, but service was very fast. Burger wise, this place is just a well executed classic burger. Big, juicy, fresh toppings, honestly nothing to complain about. The onion rings were some of the best that I've had recently, and I ordered their "Texas size steak sandwich" to go as well for dinner, very filling. I'm so glad I finally took the time to try out this EaDo gem. I understand why they've been a Houston burger staple for so long now. I'll definitely be adding this place to the list in my burger rotation, enjoy!
