If you're a mall Chinese food type of person then this will the spot for you without the hassle of a mall. I went around 7 and there was a line almost out there door but I think that's due to two things: 1) Viral TikTok food influencers pushing this restaurant and 2) the register takes a moment to get rang up. It almost bottle necks there. However the food line doesn't last that long. I was in line for maybe 10-15 minutes. There is a very small parking lot and I would recommend parking in the large lot by Jeremiah's the ice cream place next to it. The jalapeño chicken was probably the best part of the plate for it. It was seasoned well and the spice was just great. I was disappointed with the mushroom chicken because it lacked some flavor and oddly it had chucks of shrimp in it. Not complaining about the "free" shrimp but it was unexpected. Salt and pepper shrimp is one of my favorite dishes. It also seemed to lack flavor as well. The fried rice was your basic rice that you can get at any mall station and I would've gotten steamed rice if I knew it were an option. The plates however are stuffed to the point they have to staple it closed but they aren't "overfilled and overflowing" as some Houston food influencers claim in their viral videos. If you dine in be prepared as it is a bit warm in the restaurant and clean up services seemed to lack as I noticed many tables with trash left those that did eat in. Great food, I've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant around and this gives back in the day willowbrook with your plates overfilled ! We came by in May, a week after the new Chinese restaurant in this location opened. The food was ok then, nothing special. Tastes like mall food. They didn't have much shrimp options, just a a colorless boiled shrimp dish with veggies back when they opened. I'm not certain I'll give it a second chance. read more

I went to yummy express for the first time and I was immediately met with terrible service. They were giving me an attitude because I didn't know where to order. I also ordered the fried dumplings and the lady told me they were gonna take some time, I waited a few extra minutes just to find out when I got home that they weren't in my bag. Seeing how this place was all over social media, I had to try it out. I'm Filipino and know good Asian food so walking in the restaurant was very nice looking. They had plenty of food to serve and everything looked fresh. The employees are very welcoming but so many people behind the counter. I did take my food to go and I did order the rice, noodles, orange chicken, bbq pork, bourbon chicken, and the shrimp. It was alright, however the noodles were hard. The Good: the restaurant is very clean, the staff is super nice, everything on the display was very fresh and looked amazing. You get a good amount of food for the price. The Bad: some of the entrees were overcooked a bit too long. The general chicken is hard and tough to chew, and the bourbon chicken is crispy with burnt pieces. My husband and I came here for dinner because I saw the ads on FB, the review was right about this place allow you to sample the food before you order, overall it was just OK, the shrimp was a bit salty, and one of the chicken jalapenos entree was also a bit salty. The place was clean however I saw few table that needs attention and they're not busy when we were there, instead of sitting behind the counter someone could clean up some table. The Tsao Chicken was better than the orange chicken. In general most of the meats are more on the "sweet" side, bring your insulin! Need to go easy with the sweetness on the menu. So I tried this place for the first time today, they were busy which I loved because the food was freshly made, it's out like you'd see at Panda Express. The ladies who assisted us were very polite and helpful letting my daughter and I try samples, loved everything except the noodles, they were ok, I much preferred the rice. The cream cheese rangoons with sweet and sour sauce is top notch, wanted to go back for more but the line was too long for me. I had the bourbon chicken, the general Tso and the beef and broccoli loved them all. 3 entrees and half and half of rice and noodles. Went because of Facebook and that little dude that's always "cheers guys". Orange chicken was good but I got some pieces with no meat that spread oil in my mouth when bitten. Jalapeno chicken was small diced pieces that was ok. The rice was translucent( @ 1130am) and was looking rough so I got the noodles which were actually spaghetti with NO FLAVOR or veggies. Just soy sauce for color. Didn't even try to finish them. Amount was regular for the container instead of the overly dramatic nonsense you see online. Value, meh. Flavor? Not much. Will I go back?
