Pizza was undercooked/soggy in the middle and tasted bland. I won't be trying their food again.

Easily some of the best pizza I've ever had…read more Friendly staff upon walking in. We were seen once the line moved through to us. We had the order put in ahead of time and it was ready on time. The space is smaller but I think its designed to be that way. More so a spot to pickup and if need be theres a few tables in and outside to eat at. We ordered the pig and chicken pizza along with the truffled mushroom bruschetta. Both 10/10. The buschetta by itself can be an order. Good lord it was so good. Nutty, mushroom, cheesy crispy but not dry bread. Im a big toppings make the pizza guy. Perfect crust. I asked for it to be cooked a bit longer because i like really crispy edges. Good bread to topping ratio. You can tell the toppings arent just run of the mill stuff you put on top. The pizza was flavorful, the ricotta was creamy and gave a good cut through with the fatty meats on the pizza. Wonderful job talespin. I need to come back for the breakfast for dinner pizza.

We finally made our way back here and had a more enjoyable experience. After reviewing my feedback…read morefrom last time, I still think the crust could use a bit more salt in the dough--but that's just my preference! We tried the "truffle my fun-guy" this time and it had a lot more flavor than our last pizza here. The crust was a better texture than I remember. Also, I think this place is pretty good value for pizza size / price. Especially compared to other places in the area that I enjoy. I liked the topping flavor this time, but I'd probably try something else next time. Their topping combinations are very unique, but I'm not sure they're up my alley entirely. But for now, this would be a place I'd add to my rotation. Also, I do see that they've added some tables outside, which is a nice touch for when there's good weather.

After a very entertaining Houston Filmmakers showcase at River Oaks Theatre, we felt the need for…read moresustenance and because of past experiences, we made our way to Pizzana. I have to confess that I'm a bit of a pizza snob, as are my companions, so it's noteworthy that all three of us gave very high marks to the pies here. Dan and Azar both ordered the Neo Marguerita pizza (with mushrooms added), and I got the Funghi. I think a significant highlight of their Neo Marguerita pizzas was the sauce - extra rich and intense from tomato pulp - it enhanced all the other ingredients perfectly. My Funghi pizza was just a delight in every way. You simply can't go wrong with mushroom umami and the sweet intensity of caramelized onions. The cheese and crust were miraculous, too. Did I mention that this was on a Wednesday? My bad. It just so happens that on Wednesdays wines are half off! A crisp, clean Pinot Grigio paired well with our meal. Last, but certainly not least, the service was above par - efficient, friendly, and responsive. My takeaway: if you want authentic, delicious food and a welcoming vibe, go here! You won't be disappointed.

Easily made a reservation for Pizzana on a Saturday night. Highly recommend doing so on Resy if you…read moredon't want to end up waiting. Parking can be tricky depending on what side you're coming from. GPS kinda took us to park behind Honest Mary's / by Izakaya Wa. Must pay for parking here, but nothing too crazy. We ordered the following.. - Cacio e Pepe pizza: pretty good and I enjoyed the parmigiano crema. Creamy and delicious. We didn't order pepperoni, but would probably recommend getting it to feel more fulfilled. The pizza is small and thin enough for one person to eat by themselves. - Pappardelle alla bolognese: it's what you'd expect, nothing too special about this pasta. The parmigiano crema was once again a nice addition. - Tiramisu: probably the best tiramisu I've had in a long while. Good espresso was soaked into the lady fingers. I enjoyed every bite. It is on the pricey side for a small piece of tiramisu. Service was overall good. Our server checked up on us several times. I will say service is a little slow though. She was doing her best. She was covering a good amount of tables by herself. Ambiance was nice. Not too casual, but still nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. Our table was nicely spaced out from the other tables. I like it when I don't feel like I'm dining next to my neighbor. Would I return? Yes! Would I recommend going here? Yes! Thanks for an enjoyable meal, Pizzana!
