I love mod pizza, it is a great build your own pizza place that gives a substantial portion size (unlike its competitor, blaze) on a crunchy New York style pizza crust. They cook the pizza in a big pizza oven right in front of you. So good! Service does take a while but you get really good pizza.

Love the concept. Love the ingredients. Love the taste. It's hard not to love something you create! It's hard to beat a Mod pizza. Way better than Blaze and all the other wannabe build your own pizza places. And if you can't decide on how to build your own, their menu looks good as well. I usually get a pizza. Sometimes I get their salads which always taste fresh. Rarely order their cheesy bread, but it's great too! Service is usually fast but if you happen to arrive during a busy to-go rush, it might take a bit. I've seen them with at least 20 pizzas waiting to go in the over (it was already full). So clearly, the food is great! The staff is always nice and moving as fast as they can. Good all around!

Great place if you like to build your own pizza! This place is usually pretty busy, but they don't take long once you build your pizza. They will add unlimited toppings (can ask for more or less of a topping) and the crust comes out nice and crisp. I've never noticed the many different dips they have but we had the ranch and Sriracha ranch. I like to get the regular MOD size pizza and take any leftovers home (they have boxes already out)! I loveeee their nugget ice, and their lemonade is one of my faves! They do serve some draft beer and wine to choose from. They have several table/seats and a few booths inside, and an outside seating area too if it gets crowded inside. Plenty of parking since its right next to a shopping center. Overall delicious place to get pizza to your liking my!

Not to be confused with Dom Pizza, which is definitely not for submissive types. I don't really think this is such a great chain, but I do like it and it is tasty and I've had better versions of these self-service create your own pizza thingies, and this one is a little too generic and corporate. But having said that, it's actually better than a lot of Texas pizza, because it's a state that just doesn't make good pizza, so overall I would toss it a 3-star rating.

Delicious pizza made in an artisan oven! The people serving us were polite and hardworking, but the service was a bit slow considering "super fast" is in the tagline. The dining area was a bit dirty and I would recommend more individual tables rather than large party tables (these were all empty during the rush). Overall, will be back because it's delicious, but room for improvement.

Pathetic pizza

Inconsistent....Just plain lazy no effort.... Minuscule toppings ...app deleted Nobody has time for this.

Again I forget to take pictures I was starving and got carried away. The place has tons of seating, and is great for large groups. With an easy assessable parking lot. A good pace to come hang out with friends after a game or with kids. Well the food was great, ordered it to go. This was my second time in 1 week eating MOD pizza and again I am not disappointed. I was expecting it to taste something like Little Caesars but I was shocked how good it really was.. the cheesy breadsticks where even pretty good also.. y'all should check this place out!! Definitely should be on your list of pizza joint spots!!

Very warm greeting clean environment pleasant people. I came after the rush and it was still in great shape. They listened made my pizza awesome and had the drinks still full. I'm impressed! They also prioritize the precooked there before Togo orders sounds small but it isnt I want to reiterate that Geenie was the bomb and knows how to treat people and should be promoted

They offer a menu that really covers a lot of different cravings. Their namesake taquitos look appetizing, but my main focus was their Tuesday Taco box. You get 10 tacos, with a ground beef or potato option, as well as a large order of fries. The box included a large red sauce and a couple of green sauces. The green was my favorite. I opted to get 5 and 5. If you order online, you have to specify in the order comments/notes section. The tacos were crispy. They were stuffed with cheese and lettuce, in addition to the ground beef/ potatoes. The fries were crispy. The best part, on Tuesdays, the entire box is 25.00! It was a good experience. Pickup was fast and they were so nice. It's a family owned business and they aim to please.

I wouldn't say this place is an authentic Mexican food spot, but it's close enough. Tex Mex if you will. We were trying to find something to eat in the area to meet up some fam and came across this place on Yelp. I actually had it bookmarked for awhile so I was more than happy to cross another spot of my to do list. Located in a busy shopping center in the Heights, there is alot of parking available, but at busy times, you may need to drive around a little. The restaurant itself isn't huge, but there was plenty of seating inside as well as a small patio outside. I like that they also have board games and what not so they aren't trying to rush you out, but want to make it seem like a hangout spot. Customer service was amazing from start to finish. The young lady taking our order went above and beyond explaining their concept and describing each item they had. During our meal, they checked in on us frequently and made sure we were enjoying our experience. You may or may not have guessed it by the name, but Roll Em Up Taquitos specializes in taquitos. A taquito is a rolled up tortilla filled with different toppings and then deep fried. How can you go wrong with that! They also have items like tacos, a taco burger, taco salads, bowls, nachos and loaded fries. We came for the namesake item. Between our group, we got all the different varieties of taquitos available. I got a 4 pack in which you can mix and match fillings. I went with all the options of beef, chicken and potato. You then pick your topping style. They have loaded which is a cheesy, saucy options. OG is more of a traditional preparation with lettuce, queso fresco, guac and sour cream. Enchilada style is doused with enchilada sauce and cheese. I got mine loaded. The packs also come with rice and beans. For 13 bucks, it's a pretty hearty meal. The taquitos came out freshly made and had the most wonderful crunch with every bite, even with all the sauces. I imagine getting them to go or waiting awhile might take away from how it is intended to be eaten. I tried bites of the other variations and they were all tasty. I think I like the OG way the best though. The taquitos were delicious, but the big surprise was how delicious the rice and beans were. We couldn't stop talking about how good it was. We also tried a side of the street corn in a cup. This item was not a fave of the table. It was too citrus forward and something I would skip next time. For drinks, they have fountain drinks, refreshers, Jamaica and even horchata. I went with a mango refresher which was very refreshing and tasty. To finish it all off, we had to satisfy the sweet tooth with some churro donuts. These things were so so good. They made sure to bring it out towards the end of the meal so they were hot and fresh. I recommend everyone requests it that way. I wish this spot wasn't so far from home. Well maybe it's a good thing because I would be here often. I will most definitely be back if in the area.

We both ordered the two-piece meal, which comes with baked beans, coleslaw, and a piece of bread. I loved EVERYTHING! The breading on the chicken was unlike anything I've had before. It was perfectly crispy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of kick! The baked beans were honestly the best I've ever had. They were sweet with a little hint of spice, which I loved! We also ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. I don't typically order these, so I don't have much to compare them to, but I thought they were good! The breading was flavorful, stayed intact, and had a nice crispiness to it. They also came with ranch, which was a nice touch! The service was excellent throughout our visit. Everyone was consistently attentive, friendly, and helpful without being overbearing. One fun perk of this location is that if you purchase a drink and bring your cup back on your next visit, your drink is FREE! My husband and I love collecting cups from local restaurants, so we thought this was such a fun little bonus! The restaurant itself was clean and had some really cool Houston memorabilia displayed on the walls, which was fun to look at. There was also plenty of parking, even during Saturday lunchtime! Overall, we had such a great first experience dining in! Between the delicious food, friendly service, and fun atmosphere, I can definitely see us coming back. And I'm already thinking about those baked beans!!

The chicken itself was beautifully fried in peanut oil, and truly one of the best, juiciest, fried chicken pieces I have ever had. This place is an example of simplicity at its finest. If you are in Houston and craving some down to earth fried chicken, Gus's is the place to go!

We looked up family style chicken so we could have chicken and some sides and be able to sit down and eat and we stumbled upon Tumble 22. Let me tell you we were not disappointed. It's here in the Heights off of Houston Avenue and Washington. And we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Zeid (so?!) brought our new little server in training Johan and once we went over the menu and decided what we wanted to do for appetizers we ordered the heavenly deviled eggs. Do not pass that up - they are heavenly. The devil part is so good and the bacon on top absolutely delicious. And they came out right away. So we ordered the 1/2 mix. That came with a large breast and thigh and a drumstick and a wing. You get two sides with it which we ordered the collard greens and the mac & cheese. Then it came with cute little bread and butter pickles stuck on top of it. That chicken was so crispy and so hot because it came right out of the fire. And the collard greens were very good. They had turkey in them and just all kinds of stuff. The mac & cheese was really creamy very good. And it was enough for both of us to share. And it was only $17. I could not believe it. We like to always try a little bit of everything. So there are different levels of heat you can get on your chicken and we just got the regular traditional. But next time I think we're gonna try the one up with the little jalapeño in it. So then for dessert, my husband got the chocolate pecan toffee pie. And it is Chuck full of pecans and toffee and chocolate in there. It came out cold and it was delicious. I got the peanut butter chocolate mousse pie. But I got that to go, so I'll let you know later how that is, but it looked delicious. So we had a lemonade which was freshly made and tea and that large meal of chicken and sides and two desserts and our appetizer and it was only $45. . I'll tell you what if you want to have a great meal not expensive they've got kids menus that are a lot less because kids tend to waste so they're small enough that I think my grandkids would eat them with no problem. But the chicken was really good. We will definitely be back. Check them out and tell them Miss Lou sent you

The host/person, sitting our party of 4, didn't bother to ask if we wanted a booth or table. The server took our drink order (soda/water) and they couldn't remember who ordered what. The soda machine was directly behind us so they didn't have to go very far to get them. 2 of us ordered The O. G. (1 w/o mayo), the other 2 people order the Tupelo Hot Honey, and the Dive Burger. All but 1 ordered French fries the other ordered Mac and Cheese. The food came out quickly. The issue when they brought out our food is that they had a hard time letting us know which chicken sandwich was which. The person who ordered the burger was underwhelmed. They said it was good, but not anything extraordinary. They did enjoy their Mac and Cheese. As we were eating our food the host sat a couple at that table for 6 and as they were waiting on their food a larger party came in. Had the couple not offered to move they wouldn't have been able to sit the larger party. Overall, the food was great, but the service could be better. Will be back to try their grilled version of their chicken sandwiches.

First of all, my son had his eye on a specific toy for his Happy Meal, and the staff looked through all the toys to see if they could find that specific one. Then, less than a minute after opening his chocolate milk, while pretending to fly his new toy through the air, he spilled pretty much every last drop of it on the floor. Grandma asked the staff if we could get a mop because there was now a giant chocolate puddle underneath us, mostly on my feet. (So giant I had to wipe down my sandals/feet before we left because I was leaving a trail of chocolate footprints on the floor when I got up to get more napkins.) Instead, they gave us a new chocolate milk, which we didn't ask for or expect, and told us they would clean up the spill. I wish I would have noted the names of the people who helped us because they were so accommodating in toy selection and chocolate milk replacement, which helped turn my son's tears back into a smile. The only reason this wasn't five stars for me is that I wish McDonald's had some healthier options on the menu for adults (like a salad), and their chicken nuggets can't hold a candle to Chickfila chicken nuggets. (Not that that is something an individual location can change.) However, I do think Mcdonald's has the best kids' meal toys, which is one reason we will be back. (I believe McDonald's is planning to reduce the plastic in Happy Meal toys by 2025 to reduce plastic waste - hopefully the toys stay just as good!)
