Ordered 2 subs on line. As I walked in, I was treated like a homeless person. All 10 employees wanted to know why I was there and that's as far as it went. Then no one acknowledged me other than to nod. I'm happy to see they have an ample amount of employees, but the kids seemed more interested in making their own sandwiches rather than helping customers. Once my sandwiches were ready, an employee who was about 10 years of age, handed me my bag without any type of greeting or thank you or have a nice day. Nada. Hopefully once I sink my teeth in, the flavors will make up for the lack of customer service. Thank you for listening to my rant. Update: the sandwich was delish. This location is in shambles today. They have 4 workers and it took over 20-25 minutes to get my food and it's not just. I still haven't paid for it. They also aren't communicating well. This place is AMAZING!! Their portions are always so generous and the subs are PERFECT! I have a jersey mikes close to me, BUT I always go to this one because the staff and GM are SO FRIENDLY!! Their customer service is always TOP NOTCH! They genuinely ask about your life if you're open to conversation and are all super fun people!! The GM is a super cool guy aswell!! The employee was rude as hell and literally claims that the store is closed at 2pm. When we expressed our frustration and that we were extremely hungry, became very aggressive and scary as the rest of the customers fled outside the door. Great food but awful service. For the longest time, I'd been hoping for a dependable, fast sandwich shop in the Montrose/River Oaks area. Having worked near a Jersey's Mike's in the past, I was thrilled when this location opened up recently. The convenience is hard to beat. After contacting the shop and , being placed on hold for over 30 minutes I was told that I could not get a refund. Good quality sandwich that with lots of options to suit any taste. I ordered for delivery via 3rd party app and was happy with how the order was packaged. No issues with special instructions/order being followed. I ordered the ham with salami and provolone cold sandwich and felt like it had good quality ingredients and was a substantial amount of food - I think a mini version may be in order next time to have a lighter lunch; meat was packed full and falling out of the bread. I like the food and it's convenient and quick however this particular location sucks. The stuff is friendly (most of the employees), but sloppy and always make mistakes on my orders. I truly like this place and come here regularly but boy, the efficiency of this place needs to improve. I decided to order ahead this time and beat the wait, but despite this i ended up waiting well over 30 min past their proposed pick up time for a single sandwich. Service is a joke if you ate a black customer trying to get a refund for food that you did not receive. Never order food off the jersey Mikes app as you will never get your refund or have to go through cirlerles and jump hoops. As of now I haven't gotten my refund or food. But my credit card was charged. Now I have to talk to the Owner because the management is not trained on giving refunds. At least that was what I was told. read more

Me and my friend came in to buy subs for ourselves and one for a homeless guy. The homeless guy wasn't even there with us and the workers had such a bad attitude. It was literally nobody else in the store but me and my friend and the three workers and they were trying to rush us to order. we had never been to Jersey Mike's before so obviously it's gonna take a minute to look at the menu and decide on what we want. I had checked out and the worker didn't even offer me my receipt or say anything she just charged my card and walked away. There were no smiles on their faces through the whole interaction. While they were making the homeless guy sandwich he had came in and he wanted some chips so I bought that for him as well. The two workers were staring us down like we were in some western movie. I don't know why they had such bad attitudes it's not like they paid for the sandwich or chips or drink. fuck that place don't go there. I'm giving it 3 stars because it is a very popular place. I didn't get a chance to try their subs although I am familiar with Jersey Mike's product. No acknowledgement upon entry, no notification of how long it would take to place an order, and 3 discombobulated workers trying to put together an order which must have been large but only had 2 or 3 subs in progress. This is where a person called a manager would step in and direct traffic. If it were a large order, and there was no evidence it was, then someone should have been handling other customers. Even in sub shops, customer service counts and Jersey Mike's failed to get it done today. read more
