We love this place. We go here almost every Friday. Pizza is always good. Nice thin crust. We always ask for extra sauce. So fun to be able to pick your own toppings. Sometimes it's hard to find a seat though. Only thing we didn't love was the garlic bread. read more

Nothing short of amazing!!! Best pizza I have had around this area. You get to make you're pizza how ever you would like it. The staff members are great too!! read more

Mod has some really awesome pizza and at a good price. You can pack it on and not pay for each item. They took ricotta cheese off the topping list and that was it for us.... other than that ... pretty good pizza. read more

I love bringing my out of town friends here. Tasty wood oven pizza and done fast! No charge for the extra toppings (win right there!) and the staff is kind and helpful. Overall a great environment and atmosphere. Even better in the summer when you can sit outside. read more

Really good for a quick personal pizza at a more than reasonable price. In Gainesville we're limited in options for pizza by the slice but MOD offers the next best thing. I was honestly amazed by the prices for what you were receiving and will come back for sure. read more

Pizza is a fresh new BTO concept, ordered a baseline pepperoni, mushroom and added sundried tomato. It would have been better if more generous toppings given and bottom of pie shell was not so burnt. The days of grilling or baking with black grill marks are about over due to cancer causing toxins. I will try again but ask that it not be burnt at all. Also, need to different craft beer not so bitter, try dogfish or similar tasting IPA read more

I went here the day it opened. It was pretty good. I will be back again later on. I liked the concept of the pace. The food was pretty good as well. read more

Great place for the family with outstanding variety and friendly and quick service. Amazing lemonades.

The reviews were right. Quick tasty and you build it the way you want. We tried four different pizzas and shared. Everything was well prepared and the ingredients were fresh. Staff was pleasant and happy to show us how it worked since it was our first visit. They had almost too many staff but I'm sure that was to ensure a great quick experience for what is sure to be a lot of first time customers. Very wise thinking of the management because that first impression is critical. Custom thin crust pizza in less than 5 minutes!!! We will be back. read more

Awesome pizza and their chicken Cesar salad is the best!! The food comes out fast and always really good!!

Addicted already. From fantastic staff -- so friendly and helpful! -- to incredible selection and quality of ingredients, we'll be here often. Absolutely love the crust: light and great flavor. Love how you can choose how many, which, and how much of various fresh toppings. The "mod" size is just right for one, occasionally with a slice left for later. So ample. Loved the Dominic (held the onions, added artichoke). Others got three-pepper with chicken, and a pepperoni with fresh mushrooms and olives. Loved the mini size - perfect for kids or for a snack. Thinking we'll come for multiple pies one day and divide them all up so we can get a taste of everything. Fountain drinks are wonderfully different from the usual: blackberry lemonade, yum! Great addition to the neighborhood! Glad Mod is here. read more

Drove to the end of civilization to check out opening day at the new digs in Virginia! They do not disappoint! Same great attitude and service. Food was exactly the same as the other two they have in Maryland great! Next time I need to get there for the 52 free pies, just missed this one. Soon I'll have a MOD everywhere I go. No more Mc or king for me! read more

So yummy!! Everyone is friendly and service is fast!! Build your own pizza with no charge on toppings, you cant beat it anywhere!!!

In my opinion, customer service plays a MAJOR Role. It gives a customer a good or bad view and mood for the restaurant. I think that is something MOD Pizza lacks. I came to MOD after hearing the endless praise my brother gave this place. When I entered, the line was at the door. It took about a good 35 minutes to reach the menu and another five minutes for someone to take my order. I was a bit overwhelmed about the menu. There were a lot of options! I feel that if the paper menus were to be near the door rather than right under the menu board, I would have given this place three stars. People were blocking the board which made it hard to read the board from a distance. When I reached the assembly line, I was clueless on what to order. I didn't know if I wanted a Create Your Own (CYO) or if I wanted a suggested menu item. I decided on doing a CYO. The employees in the line were not that nice when you talked to them and most of them were very inattentive. I found myself having to repeat what I said. It basically ended in me having to take my cooked finished pizza back and them having to add the missing ingredient. When they made the correct pizza, it was actually pretty good. The pizza is what brought my review to two stars. I would recommend that when you get a drink to stick to the sodas. None of the teas or lemonade were good. Would I recommend this place? On a day that isn't crowded, sure. On a day when it is crowded, probably not. I would only recommend this place to someone who could overlook non existent customer service. read more

Very simple and good. Quick bite or hang out are great here! My son loves to make his own pizza here!

We've order pizzas and an occasional salad from here several times now. Never disappointed. In my opinion it's a tasty pizza made with interesting and fresh ingredients for a good price. I'll keep coming back. read more

My boyfriend & I come here often. The service is always friendly, even if we're rolling in near closing time! My boyfriend always orders the calexico with pineapples and I get the tyler without the bbq swirl. #TeamPineapplesOnPizza read more

I come to the Gainesville area often for food because the selection in Manassas is very dull. This place is my go-to after picking up my son from daycare. Tried a few different pizzas from there, don't think I have a favorite yet because I like them all so much. Each time I go I there's a very sweet girl named Ariel who helps me decide what to get. Nothing better than great staff and pizza!! read more

This is a great place to get a quick pizza that's just delicious. The atmosphere is just right and the service is pretty good. I've only gone here once, so I'll review more when I go there again. read more

Made to order with a fantastic selection of fresh toppings. Simply delicious! Though best while hot...

Great pizza that you can customize to your particular taste and diet restrictions. Staff is very friendly and the service is quick and accurate. It can get really busy so plan ahead. Worth the wait if you have the time. read more

Amazing. I don't know what else to say. Wife an I had a sitter went to movies an then decided let's get dinner an. Wow. Be back for sure.

Pizza dough is great and the ingredients are fresh. Definitely a go to spot before or after catching a movie.

I really enjoy the food at MOD Pizza. It's great to construct your own personal pizza right in front of you, everyone has the same flat-rate pizza and it tastes GREAT. On a pizza assembly line, obviously there is chance for cross contamination between different ingredients. I understand it happens, but I really feel that the employees at this specific location do NOT try to prohibit that at all. Every single time my pizza has remnants of the pizza made before mine. Last time I went with my boyfriend, a customer put corn on his pizza before my boyfriend, then we sat down to eat and my boyfriend had corn on his pizza, and since my pizza was made after my boyfriends i had like six pieces of sausage laying on my crust. I'm a vegetarian :). So that sort of thing really does get on my nerves. Taking pride in your job really makes the difference and those employees couldn't give two hoots how the pizzas are crafted. Another thing is just standard customer service. We both had gotten the canned wine and my boyfriend puts them on the counter to purchase. This girl with braided pig tails comes to check us out and she examines the two cans heavily, eyes my boyfriend up and down and blurts out "So who's the other can for?" while i'm standing right next to him (!). I made myself known and she YELLED at us for our IDs. I really don't understand why she was so flustered at us buying alcohol we are over age after all! Train your employees to keep their heads in stressful situations so they don't get laughed about after because she was stressing for no reason other than alcohol consumption taking place. In summary, love the food, employees need more guidance. read more

I ordered online with a 30 minute wait. I arrived at my pick up time to find the order hadn't been printed out yet. I was offered a free drink but still had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Pizza was delicious but not worth 45 minutes. read more

Enjoy going to this quick and delicious pizza spot. The staff is friendly. I eat gluten-free and like their individual gluten-free pizza with as many choices as I care to have on my pizza. The fixing bar includes Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes. The staff is always willing to fix an olive oil cup for dipping the crust. The milkshake choice are a good ending for the pizza. read more

Pizzas were tasty, with thin crust. Went on opening night so crowd was constant. Initially it seemed pizzas were taking a bit long to be ready, but four minutes or so after we ordered, pizzas were ready. Had lots of people working. Owner was on hand and was assisting in clearing tables to get people seats. Only two "complaints" - 1) need sweetners for ice tea drinkers. None on rack where drinks, napkins were, nor at cash registers; 2) somehow (wish I knew how) keep folks who haven't ordered from grabbing seats and waiting for the family member who ordered to arrive. It messes up the seating for everyone else. read more

Great pizza and the staff are fantastic, it might appear like fast food, but it's brick oven goodness, the roasted garlic is a must!!!

Went to MOD for the first time this past weekend. I'm originally from NYC and can be pretty critical about pizza. I have to say I surprised by the quality of the food. Fresh ingredients, well-prepared and really tasty. I also have to say that the manager, Ryan, and the rest of the staff were awesome. Looking forward to going back! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. We stumbled upon MOD; when the other two restaurants across the street had 1+ hour waits we decided to give it a try. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. 2 sizes of pizza - no limit on toppings for one price! For three of us we chose two of the larger size pizzas, which came out wonderfully cooked and delicious and which was enough because we ordered salad. Salad with any amount of add-ons - for one price! No extra charges for this or that. We got the family size which was perfect for 3 people. The fountain drinks consist of the usual sodas but also 4 different drinks - tea, but also fruity-"aide" type drinks which were delicious and included one that wasn't too sweet. Your choice - no extra cost for one or the other. The pizzas come out on a plastic plate - no cardboard (though they do have cardboard to-go boxes at the soda station. Our group was so please that we hope MOD opens soon near where we live! read more

I love coming to MOD for a quick bite. I like most any kind of pizza and this place doesn't disappoint. It is super thin and cooked in a stone oven. You can pick any combination of toppings that are freshly displayed, and it is cooked to perfection. The staff is also very friendly. Keep up the great service MOD. See you next time. read more
