This was my first time at this location. Located at The Promenade, it's convenient to shopping and entertainment. Here is the breakdown of this MOD: *Pizza makers were slow. They also were stingy with certain items, but dumped on mushrooms and green peppers. *Pizzas took a little longer than expected. *My son's pizza crust was over cooked. *Restaurant was dirty-tabletops, drink fountain area floor *We ate outside as there were a few tables there. My pizza tasted fine ( except for too many peppers). Husband didn't complain. My grown son was the only one not loving his meal, but he ate it anyway. If you haven't been to MOD Pizza, the concept is make-it-as-you-order (kind of like Subway or Chipotle but for pizza). Select your crust (they have regular wheat, gluten-free, and cauliflower). Select your sauce (red, white, pesto, and others). Select your cheese (mozzarella, feta, asiago, and many more). Select your toppings (different meats and a variety of veggies). The price is the same regardless of how many toppings you choose. When you are ready, they bake your pizza. As you can imagine, you can craft the perfect pie - exactly as you like it. The wheat flour crust is good. The cauliflower crust is not worth it. I did not try the gluten-free one. 4 stars because of a consistency problem. The quality of your pizza depends on the person assembling it for you - some workers are perfectionists while others are sloppy. read more

Filthy, filthy filthy. I asked the manager about the dust and she said they cleaned it nightly.....no way. Tons of food, flies and finger prints everywhere. I couldn't eat there. Came in for pizza, and had three mini 6" -one for each of us. I had the vegan pizza, with all vegetables and non-dairy cheese. Add two salads and drinks and we were out of there for less than $46. Nice. Everything is done assembly style, pick your sauce, cheese and toppings... and enjoy. Oven baked in a brick oven pizza, and not a electric cage oven. Best crust ever. Just go. MOD pizza is similar to &pizza- it's a build your own pizza place. Differences include the variety of toppings, sauce, and pizza sizes. MOD pizza has a choice of sizes from kid size to large size. Also the pizzas are the traditional circles. They do a great job places ingredients on the pizza. My pie was loaded, but the server was careful to make sure no topping was skimped on and each bite had everything I asked on it. It takes a few minutes after ordering to receive the done pizza as it's cooked in an oven, but the pizza is well worth the wait. I've been seeing more and more locations pop up over the years, and I definitely look forward to coming back here and trying a different pizza combination every single time. New favorite place in town! Honestly, this place is AMAZING. Came in on a Saturday at about 12. Was quite busy but the short line moved quickly and we were able to find a table easily. This place is similar to how you would order at Chipotle or Subway, where you go through a type of assembly line, tell them the size and menu you item you want and you can customize it however you wish. We got the mod size (11 inch pizza) of the Kasey and the Caspian. Incredibly cheap as it was only $20 and change for the two pizzas and two drinks. They have beer on tap (didn't try it) and house made iced tea and lemonade. As well as Coke products. All good stuff. Food was ready incredibly fast, they were calling our names very frequently. Both pizzas were very yummy. The crust was great. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the Kasey, topped with olive oil, Brussels sprouts, bacon, gorgonzola, red onion, balsamic fig glaze. Very unique and pretty yummy but the glaze was rather too sweet for me. But I will still certainly come back to try more. With plenty of options ranging from standard pizza to gourmet the unique options create endless possibilities, being also incredibly cheap, and incredibly fast. One of my favorite pizza places until tonight! Just witnessed this employee take his own personal Powerade bottle and fill it up at the soda fountain, and literally put the mouth end of the bottle all the way over the soda dispenser. This is DISGUSTING!!! No one wants your saliva in their drink....SMH!!! Not only did he do it with the Powerade drink dispenser, but he mixed in about four other flavors, including Coke! He then followed up this disgusting act, by wiping off the tables with a towel that he carried around on his shoulder. Liked the concept and the design of the location. My problem was that It was not clean. The trash was overflowing and there weren't nearly enough receptacles. Tables weren't wiped down either. Would have appreciated seeing gloves changed when handling food after touching other things like register and door handles. The staff was friendly but the order line was very inefficient. All of the staff were working very hard but there wasn't a person who was coordinating the process like ensuring the line didn't run out of items and making sure the place was clean. I always enjoy these types of fast-casual, build-your-own types of restaurants and have been wanting to try this place out since we moved up here. And my sister used to work at a similar-style restaurant, so we wanted to see how it compared. I'd have to say I really enjoyed our experience here. We ended up trying out a couple of the selections on the menu rather than building our own when we got there--the combinations sounded delicious! We ordered the Jasper and the Ella, their seasonal selection. The Jasper had my favorite toppings, so I really enjoyed that one. For me, you can't go wrong with sausage and mushroom on a pizza. The Ella was great as well, though not my favorite. I did love the white sauce and how it had a little bit of a kick to it. Everyone working there was so polite and friendly. We came when it wasn't too busy, so our wait wasn't too incredibly long. The restaurant was bright and clean-looking. I went to Mod recently and while it was fast the ordering process was not the best and the pizza was... Barely passable. Unless you come often you may not be familiar with the names, process, or what they even have. Even though it was probably clear we didn't have a clue we stumbled through it with no assistance. 1 custom salad and 1 pizza.
