It made me uncomfortable ordering food knowing someone preparing or handling food might be that ill. I understand people need to work, but in a food environment this raises hygiene and food safety concerns. I hope management makes sure sick employees are allowed to stay home. read more

I don't get why this place only has three stars. They have the best sauce of any of the pizza joints around. We have had several of the pizzas and have never been disappointed! We also love their salads. The con with the house dressing is a favorite and since we usually split one it's nice they have the option to get it chopped. Popped into Paisano's for a quick take out order. Entered into a clean and well run store. Immediately greeted at the counter and offered several suggestions. I chose the Thin Crust Meatlovers and paid. Given a ten minute wait time to build the pizza and pop it into the oven. Service staff checked on us twice for an update. Low and behold it came piping hot and a minute early. Staff made sure we left with extra red peppers. Got home and was full with two wonderful slices of Meatlovers Pizza. Aloha Peepz Ipo here from 808 Phat Gurl Status. If you're in the Gainesville area, Paisanos Pizza at Atlas Walkway is a must-try. I went for the gyro with a small fries, and it was fantastic. The gyro was packed with juicy, flavorful meat, and the portion size was generous--no skimping here. The vegetables and cheese were perfectly balanced and spread throughout the gyro, making every bite satisfying. The small fries were seasoned just right, with a perfect crunch that held up even as I made my way through the gyro. I added some ketchup to the fries and their tzatziki sauce to the gyro, which really elevated the whole meal. At $10.99 for the gyro, which is standard for the area, and around $2-$3 for the fries, it's a great deal for the quality of food. The service was friendly, and the owners really make you feel welcome. The place was clean, and the owners are genuinely nice people. I'd definitely recommend this Paisanos location in Gainesville. I thought I would try this place since I saw people come in and going for the past few months and I would see the delivery cars. People were nice service was very polite. Waited about 15 minutes for the two pizzas. An extra large and a medium $45 and change. Got home it was OK. Lots of dough not real flavorful. All the talking seem to be like they threw it on the right hand and part of the pizza that chicken and other toppings and the other side got a few. Same thing with the margarita pizza. we had to move toppings around so everyone got a little of everything. I know we're a bit picky since we have a New Yorker in the house and New York pizzas hands-down the best, and Californians where we get fresh vegetables that are ripe and our pizzas are different than New York pizza but still top rated. I know that's being harsh but we have not been impressed with most pizza places around Virginia. We have two that we've had close by that are hands-down really good one in Haymarket one in Chantilly and it seems you have to get real New Yorkers to make that quality flavorful pizza that's not just the dough ball. We are really disappointed because we wanted to find someplace closer to home but we have our own taste buds others love it and yay for them just gonna still keep looking read more

Picked up a takeout order, got home and realized 2 out of the 3 items were very overcooked/burned. Called up the store to explain the situation, and expected them to give a partial refund (and then I still would've had to find something to feed my family). Very surprised when they offered to remake the 2 items and deliver to our home. Even though it was originally a takeout order. Even with concert traffic, we had fresh, hot food in 30ish minutes. We had great experience at one of the DC Paisano's so I figured with it being a chain that should ensure consistency across the sites...you would think, but NAAAA! I've ordered from this location several times before and have not been disappointed until my most recent order. Like usual I ordered pepperoni calzone and this time around it tasted a bit...off. I got tired of the breading and cut come of it off so I would only be eating the filling and I noticed two concerns. First, the filling was unevenly cooked. On some parts of the calzone the cheese was perfectly melted whereas on other parts the cheese was...chunky. Second, as I was cutting some of the breading off I found a piece of hair in the calzone. I tried to eat around but the sight of the hair was unsettling in combination with undercooked cheese. I called this location to inform them about the piece of hair and was told that they would speak with a manager and I haven't heard since. customer service needs to do better. as a mom I appreciate curbside but when I called directly in front of the store wondering if they received my notification, I was put on hold only because someone in-person had walked in. I waited for awhile and when no one answered and no one came out, I gave up and took my kids inside and informed the girl at the register, who was standing next to the manager, both never apologized for the long wait and for being essentially forgotten about.
