It actually was my fault, I accidentally made my tip $100, and not $1.00 or whatever I was trying to add in for tip. The staff is absolutely atrocious, typical lazy entitled modern day youth. I gave this location two chances. The first time I chalked it up to maybe just being a bad crew on shift. I gave them another shot and it was even worse. The place was nearly empty, two people at a table, one pizza in the oven, and no one in line. I stood there ignored for a good while, clearly ready to order. Finally one of the roughly seven employees present decided to approach me to take my order. Yes, some were busy with tasks, but most of them were just standing around. They all saw me there. One just stared at me with a dazed look on his face, but didn't come over. The cashier asked what I ordered and didn't speak another word. He didn't give me the total. He didn't say "thank you, have a nice day," nothing. I just looked at the digits on the register and handed him the money. It was like they couldn't be bothered, no smiles, eye rolling looks on all of their faces and dressed like a bunch of anarchists. To quote the maître d' from Ferris Bueller's Day Off... "I weep for the future." Whoever is running this location needs to get their act together. I see I'm not your first poor service review. I do not know why I tried this place again. 2 stars for the young Hispanic kid with braces, he was polite enough...the heifer that is about 5 feet tall, dark hair, glasses, and tattoos with a disgusting nose ring should work somewhere where she does not have to encounter humans. The pizza is great but it's tough getting past the appearance in and around this location. I stayed at a hotel right behind it and ate there twice. MOD is one of my favorite fast food places when I'm in Colorado. The first time I thought it was a fluke but it was the same thing 2 days later. Trash literally overflowing out of the can outside the front of the store on the patio. To the point where people were just throwing their trash on the ground. Cups, lids, napkins, straws, food it was nasty. Tables were dirty in the restaurant and the drink and condiment area was in shambles . The prep area for the pizzas was kind of a mess too. On both occasions I ate at the restaurant and I didn't see anyone clean the dining area or even bat an eye at the trash the whole time I was there. I got some naked pizza almost no sauce no cheese, toppings just dumped in the middle, burnt and over bubbled crust. We ordered mod salads (which are the medium sized salads) and got served this. My boyfriend's salad was nice & full while mine was practically empty. I understand that the young girl making my salad was training, but her trainer who was right next to her answering questions should have been supervising her. I'm so glad to have MOD Pizza so close to my office as it's perfect for lunch. They have both personal pizza and salads that you can customize with a variety of toppings. Everything is made to order and you go down the line picking what you want on top. They cook the pizza in a super hot oven so it's ready in a few short minutes. MOD has a few beers on tap too. We ordered over the phone, my husband can't have dairy so we don't eat cheese on pizzas. We specially told the person taking our order that we are vegan and can't have cheese, we asked the pizzas come without cheese. We got our order delivered to us and both pizzas came with extra cheese. Unfortunately this can't be eaten by my husband so we trashed it. Paid for pizzas and couldn't eat them because they took our order wrong. I think it's important for your staff to understand people have food allergies that if not properly handled by your team, it could be very bad for people if they consumed something they specifically asked your staff to not add. The service was ok, I think the chain does a great job of hiring younger individuals but I think that can come with barriers. I felt like the restaurant itself needed a touch up. I normally don't review twice but I thought it was necessary for patrons to know. The last time I visited this MOD location on tower road was infested with rude workers. I was under the impression the staff would have been revamped or improved, this was definitely not the case! Sorry to report.. it has gotten even worse! I'm sick and tired of disrespectful and rude staff!! If you don't like your job or working with the public then QUIT! All the "girls" that were "working" tonight had horrible attitudes and treated customers like peasants! I looked for a manager but there was not one in site! When I was waiting for my pizza to get done, I was watching the girl that was cutting pizzas. She would take the tongs and grab the metal number in the pizza and throw it really hard to her right like she just could care less about the food people were about to eat. She didn't make any eye contact when people would pick their pizza up. When people asked for sauce she wouldn't look at them and just put it on the counter and keep working. I ordered 1 pizza. not super complicated, only a handful of things on it, and I never complain about companies. but it took them OVER 2 hours to deliver the pizza to me. When we called the restaurant, they had no real answer for us and some terrible customer service. By the time the pizza did arrive, it was cold. They hadn't just made it or mixed up orders, and they didn't apologize, it just took them over 2 hours for 1 pizza to get to me. Barely 2 years old, our stomachs were ready to retire from the familiar, boring and expected Pepperoni Pizzas we can get literally anywhere. We wanted to feel inventive; yearning for a baked pie from Mod Pizza's very own "Flash Mod" limited time menu. Their Bella pie was calling us over with her sizzlin' mozzarella cheese, their mushrooms were topped all over and we really enjoyed the spinach and rosemary. The only thing we asked to customize on our order, was extra of their mild sausage. We were blown away by their toppings, what appeared over 50 options from cheeses to a keto friendly cauliflower crust. You must order their CHEESY GARLIC BREAD, because it is simply hot and delicious. They have 4 different dipping sauces and we ordered the pesto, red sauce and ranch to try a variety for the cheesy garlic bread. For Dessert, we absolutely wanted to name our "No Name Cake," and were fooled silly when we learned that this cake was filled inside with a rich, vanilla buttercream. I thought it would be a knock-off cake from the stores, but this was the real deal. It came baked, hot and very fudge-like.
