WOW WOW WOW!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dions in commerce city off of 104th Ave. I ordered delivery around 4:45 PM. Estimated delivery time at 5:15. I received information from the DoorDash driver that he was stuck in traffic. I understood, did not have a problem with that at all as it was rush hour and people were heading home from work, this continued on for about an hour until he had to cancel my order because he was not able to get to me. I called Dions and let them know the situation. The manager informed me to place my order again and they would get it sent out right away and refund me for my previous order. I messaged the new driver, letting him know there was traffic and to maybe take a different route. Unfortunately, he did not get the message in time and ended up being stuck in the same traffic and had to do the same thing... cancel my order. I called Dions, not upset with the situation because life happens! I just wanted to make sure that I would get refunded for both orders. The manager was extremely apologetic and told me she was going to send one of her employees to personally deliver my food. I insisted that it was totally fine and she didn't have to do that but she was adamant and said they would be leaving soon! The employee arrived with my food within 15 minutes and she was so kind. This is absolutely going above and beyond and I am truly grateful for that!! I will 1 million percent return and recommend everyone to this location!!! Well done, Dions!!! We stopped at Dion's after picking someone up at DIA since we were already so far north and wanted to try somewhere new. The restaurant sits in the heart of a busy retail and dining hub, making it easy to find and conveniently surrounded by other businesses. Walking in, we were immediately impressed by the décor and the overall atmosphere. There is a viewing platform where kids can watch the cooks preparing pizzas, and from the dining area, you can see the full kitchen and the coordinated movements of the team as they prepare pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. You order at a counter, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Since it was our first visit, we asked for recommendations, and they were happy to oblige. We ended up ordering the Napoli pizza on the original hand-stretched crust. I ordered the lemonade, which turned out to be an outstanding recipe. I'd dare say it might give Chick-fil-A a run for its money as my favorite lemonade. The pizzas take about 18-20 minutes to prepare, so plan accordingly. Knowing that everything is made fresh and seeing just how busy the restaurant was, I was completely fine with the wait. The kitchen is well-staffed, and everyone is clearly working hard, so you can tell they're moving as quickly as possible without cutting corners. , The pizza itself was excellent, generously topped, with a great balance of cheese that complemented rather than overwhelmed the other ingredients. Well, I have been doing takeout a lot. I do their salads and their sandwiches always fresh really good good drive up service never have to wait. It seems like everybody's friendly inside and again I can't stress how good their sandwiches are especially toasted like they do and I recommend it for everybody great place to grab lunch a fast lunch. read more

After driving by Dion's and hearing great things from two local radio DJs, we decided to get a couple pizzas delivered and weren't super impressed. The Duke City was pretty bland. The green chilis added a little kick, but besides that the pizza was severely bland. And although there isn't much to a cheese pizza, it wasn't very good. Very doughy and similar to a cheap frozen pizza unfortunately. Cookies were hard and a disappointing end to a disappointing pair of pizzas. Why are the pizzas all bubbles now? When the crust is full of bubbles, the toppings slide off and you're left with a very wide crust with a pool of toppings in the center. It's pretty simple to ensure no bubbles are in the dough before baking. Also, the delivery driver waited at least 15 minutes for our order. We went around 9pm on a Tuesday. The place was clean and pretty empty since they close at 10pm. The guy at the register was very nice and helpful. We ordered a medium carnivore pizza, a 1/2 chicken Cesar salad and a slice of pepperoni pizza. Spent about $38. The medium pizza was as big as a large from the normal fast food chains. One of my ultimate pizza places around Denver. They got plenty of parking and even a drive thru for orders placed online. Plenty of seating for large groups. The staff is great and have always been very accommodating to allergy questions and restrictions when I'm placing an order. Now for the food: I have yet to try something on the menu that I didn't like. THE GREEN CHILI RANCH IS A MUST HAVE! If you like it as much as I do you can buy a bottle for you to take home. They have very fresh ingredients so my fav is the chef's salad half portion so I can have leftovers. It's definitely a two person salad if you are planning on eating other things on the menu. The garlic and cheese bread is very flavorful. In side the restaurant you can get pizza by the slice which is nice. Don't forget to get some cookies or a brownie for dessert. read more

Noticed I had not done a review in 5 years. This place is still great. We usually come for late lunch where we order a family salad and a whole pizza. We eat the salad there and get the pizza to go. We will eat one or two pieces each and take the rest home for another day. Must commend whoever does the hiring. There does,not ever seem to be any older adults in the back. Almost all seem to be teenage. They are so respectful and customer service oriented. We have never been disappointed with Dion's! The subs actually get made with an adequate amount of toppings and the pizza never fails! The service here is also too notch which doesn't happen very often so it's always a pleasant surprise! Tonight we stopped by before the Broncos game. My other half was craving pizza and since we were across the street at the Marketplace we dropped in. I went with a build your own personal pizza, spinach, onion, kalamata olives and artichokes. My guy decided on a Chef's salad believe it or not. There was a bit of a wait even though it wasn't crowded inside. That was fine because I watched the guys tossing dough. The food came out and that Chef's salad was huge! My hubs was happy and soooooo hungry. The only downside for him was too many croutons,they're too hard for him. But boy did he wolf down as much as he could before he got full! He ate half which is alot for him. My pizza was tastey but it could've used more red sauce. I've had the veggie sandwich which wasn't too bad. There's a few other meatless options for me to try. What am I missing here? People are obsessed and it's like an "In n out" level obsession it seems. My co-worker looked at me like an alien when I mentioned I had never tried it. My pizza was just alright, I didn't think the ranch was anything great? Tasted like Hidden Valley which is not a bad thing at all!
