I popped in mid-afternoon to grab a pizza to-go. I'd had pizza from a different location, and I was in a hurry and knew MOD was usually pretty quick. I was greeted by three friendly folks as soon as I opened the door. For middle of the day, I was quite surprised that there were only a few empty tables. They have a great clientele already! I ordered my pizza, picked all the ingredients, paid and almost before I sit down comfortably on the stool, my pizza was ready to go. It stayed warm all the way home, and I have to say it was excellent. The ingredients were very fresh and plentiful. I had been really wanting pizza and was in the area so I decided to give it a try. I do not regret it. One price for the pizza, no extra charge for toppings. One of my least favorite parts about ordering pizza is having to decide what toppings I really want, but not here. Everyone there was super friendly. Our new favorite pizza place! Great individual pizzas cooked and made to order! Fantastic customer service also! Only one time have I been disappointed (at the castle rock location) with one girls customer service. She told me that "it wasn't her job to cut my pizza, but since no one else was around, she would do it for me." Um thank you?!?... That was odd. I mean my pizza was done and would get cold if she didn't cut it and hand it to me. I didn't know it was that much work for her to cut the pizza. Plus, I order chicken tossed in buffalo sauce as my main and pretty much only topping. She said "she would do it this time, but if it is busy next time, they wouldn't be able to do it." Seriously? That's the only reason why I go to Mod. Specifically for that buffalo chicken pizza. They need to put it on the menu because it is absolutely amazing! I also wish they had ricotta cheese year round, but they said it was seasonal. Anyhow, I would still give this place five stars because it is always amazing, and everyone is so friendly who works there. (Except that one issue, with one girl.) Maybe because it was my first time or maybe it is because they really do suck? Placed my order with the young lady yelling across the counter, I asked for a #9, from their menu board, an all ready built for you pizza. As my pizza went down the line; I was asked, what would you like on it? Uhm, I don't know, read the trey? Is it my responsibility to memorize all 7 things that go on the pizza I ordered? I get to the end, with crust, sauce and some chicken and am asked about cheese...well the sign says Gorgonzola....the Young girl says to the older gentleman "she told you". The gentleman looks at me, and throws and handful of blue cheese on my pizza. I realize they are similar, but no very different. I told him they were not the same, and he said yes they are and slid my pizza down the road like the soup nazi. Overall, it was a very overwhelming experience and they should not have menu items if they don't want you to follow them or bother to have their employees memoriZe them. I don't have a problem with quick service and building my own pizza, but if that is what your business concept is, say so. I will not be going back, I have had better experiences at McDonalds. read more

I think this place is great especially for families. Everyone gets to pick the pizza the way they want it which is great with 3 kids who don't agree on anything. Pizza is fast, good, and priced fairly. Service is good and people are very nice. Great concept. Will be back! read more

We are new to the area and have been trying new dining places weekly. Tonight we decided to try Mod Pizza and we are glad we did! The line to order looked long but moved really fast... almost too fast to pick what we wanted to order from the vast menu. My husband opted for the make your own pizza and I ordered the Dillon James. The price is fantastic for what you get, the service was fast, and the servers were friendly. MOD Pizza will definitely be on our list of go to places! read more

Love having this place so close to my home. It is such a fun atmosphere with fun people working there. being able to create any kind of pizza you want to try is awesome. Everything is fresh and yummy. I only wish it were bigger and had more seating because this place is packed even at closing people still want to get in and I can not blame them. We have gone to the location in Park Meadows, so I was delighted to see we were getting a MOD Pizza in Castle Rock. The customer service is outstanding and the line moves quickly. Very good pizza! I love the variety of toppings that you can choose from and it's all priced the same. I can easily get two meals out of their Mod size pizza ($7.50) making it a great value. read more

This place is a great concept with friendly folks. I'm usually not that adventurous with food but their unique ingredients are wonderful and make it fun to branch out. They have an awesome iced tea-caramelized pear-that I always look forward to. As to the people with negative reviews-this place is new, there is going to be a line! Get a little patience. Just because you have no patience is no reason to give a place low stars. Enjoy coming here overall. My only suggestion would be to hand out numbers or something instead of yelling out the name of everyone's orders. It can be hard to understand and I've seen people take the wrong pizza. Management seems really rude. I understand that it's busy and that can be stressful but that's not reason to treat your staff disrespectfully. The way I saw some people being treated...I felt like I was being served by a bunch of children. I like the food but I wish the establishment was being run by adults. read more

Okay, the pizza is really good. However, the two stars are because out of the two times I have eaten at MOD Pizza here in Castle Rock the restaurant has been ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. I mean, food-mashed-on-the-floor and smelly gross. We eat outside and the concrete pad under the metal tables and chairs is/was disgusting. With as many customers as they have moving though the place management needs to do a better job cleaning up. It is too bad because I really dig the Jasper. read more
