My friend and I were craving pizza and luckily there was MOD pizza on our way back from Colorado Springs. We ended up getting mini pizzas and splitting a cheesy garlic bread. I got the white Alfredo and chicken, olives and mushrooms as my toppings. My pizza was cooked to perfection the way I liked it and filled with toppings which made it quite filling. In fact, I could only eat 2 slices of the cheesy garlic bread. The cheesy garlic bread was really good as well and had hints of rosemary and garlic but wasn't overbearing. We got our pizzas and bread within 10min which was pretty quick considering there were a good bit of people in front of us. There's plenty of seating outside and inside and I also really enjoyed their wall decor. Overall, can't go wrong with MOD pizza and happy I spotted one on our drive! read more

Faster to go to a normal pizza place. The guy working the oven section won't let anyone else put anything in the oven even though they're not doing anything. I stopped by this MOD and was helped by Ellie and she was the sweetest! I was waiting in line and the customers in front of me were extremely rude to her and pilling an overly excessive amount of cheese and toppings onto their pizzas. They were impolite and unfriendly but she handled it well. I'm honestly baffled by these kinds of people, if you have nothing better to do than be rude to food service employees, you have a sad life. She helped me with my order quickly, and was very knowledgeable about the menu! The mega Mad Dog pizza I oredered was cooked perfectly and was done quickly! The store was clean and cozy. We waited in line for over 20 minutes while several employees, including the manager, stood around and closed down half of the food prep line. When I asked the manager why they were covering up half the ingredients instead of serving customers, he told me "I'd like to go home sometime today." I finally left at 8:11 p.m., after arriving at 7:40 p.m. There is no reason it should take over an hour to close a restaurant, especially with multiple staff members on-site. I brought the kids here as it was close the the hotel we're staying in and was pleasantly surprised with the fresh ingredients and choices. This MOD Pizza location is also very close to the Outlet Mall in Castle Rock. Usually, I order a MOD regular size pizza and build it myself. I love the variety of toppings offered. You could go extreme and really load your pizza up! Today, I enjoyed my interaction with the staff member who built my pizza. He offered fantastic options to put on my pizza. He had wonderful knowledge of all the toppings. After ordering your pizza, they offer various beverages which include fountain drink Coca-Cola beverages along with two iced tea options and two different lemonades. They also a dessert of "No Name Cake" that feature different flavors. Today's flavor was Pumpkin Spice. Surprise, surprise... Dining room is a simple industrial style with outdoor patio that has plenty of seating. Music isn't too loud either. Also, it doesn't take too long for them to bake your pizza. Very cool little fast food pizza place. This is my second visit here as I stop at this location when I have a long drive so I can put a pizza in the passenger seat to snack on! Anyway, the price is definitely right and for the price you're getting a fresh made pizza to order quickly. So my issue isn't the quality of the food it's the quality of the customer service. I ordered two non dairy pizzas to be delivered and received a call from the manager right after the delivery driver had picked up our food and left letting me know that they sent the wrong order out with the delivery driver. I actually appreciated that she called right after noticing that but the part that takes over this entire situation and forces me to write a one star review is that their solution to this problem was to have me drive down there to pick up the correct pizza and not reimburse me for all the fees from delivery. I had told the manager that I'm not driving down there and that the entire reason that I ordered delivery was to avoid driving down there in the first place. No offer to send a driver was ever given. She told me she was new and to let her see what she can do so I waited maybe five minutes and she called back saying that all she could do was reimburse the one pizza not the fees. I told her that it didn't make sense since I paid delivery fees on two pizzas and that they should be responsible for that too. She told me that they can't do anything about the delivery fees and I told her that they need to reimburse both pizzas then. Why do you think that a customer should pay for the delivery fees on an item your store screwed up? She was nice but extremely oblivious to the entire situation. When I requested a refund on both pizzas she asks, "So you want me to void out both pizzas?" Um, yeah since you aren't going to refund my delivery fees. She reluctantly said she would refund both. This pizza place gives you the opportunity to Select your own variety of toppings and sauces right there in front of you, kind of like chipotle-subway style.. their crust is thin but the pizzas have a really good flavor. We ordered 2 pizzas for 3 people and it was satisfying enough. Our only complain here were those chairs, they have a design that makes it uncomfortable to sit on unless you are extremely skinny.... and the other thing was that the women's bathroom didn't lock so i had my sister watching outside just in case someone came. read more

What's nice about chains is that you always know what you're going to get. You always know what Pike Brew coffee at Starbucks is going to taste like. You know what a Quarter Pounder with Cheese is going to taste like. (May not be good but at least it's consistent.) MOD Pizza hasn't figured that out yet. Our pizzas always seem to be different each time no matter that we order the same pizza each time. Cooking in that oven can't be easy. Only had one good pizza in a year from this location come out perfect. The cauliflower pizzas are always over cooked and cracker like. I think a little more training should happen before they let someone cool in that oven, especially on busy nights. Now there's the outside dining area. It is gross. It needs to be pressure washed periodically. Bird crap everywhere. Flies were everywhere tonight. We hurried up and finished so we could get out of there. Last time we went, there was so much food on the ground, yellow jackets were everywhere. Not a pleasant experience. Probably won't be going back for a while. read more

You can add as many toppings to the pizza as you'd like.Also started adding artichoke to mine Yum!! After we ordered we sat dow. And wait to be called. The drink options are soda and different assortment of lemonade and flavored sweet teas. The overall cleanliness of the store was great. So the men's bathroom has a speaker in there blasting my jams. It was an experience to behold, getting shaken to my bones by classic rock while I washed my hands before and after my meal. It was clean and, well, the acoustics in there are epic. It's not weird, it's just a weird little detail. Last time I ate Mod pizza, I said, "just give me all the vegetables on a pizza. I'm a vegetarian. It seemed like a good idea. It wasn't. But I'm not one to poorly judge a restaurant for my own bad choices. Second time was better. This time, I ate the Dillan James. It's a pizza where the name has just as much personality as the actual pizza. I liked the smoothness of the cheese and the cheesiness of the cheese. It was a proper blend of flavors. I never had a problem with this Mod Pizza location until today. I tried to make my usual order for online to pick up, but the ordering system said that my Favorite (Dillion James) was no longer available. I created my own pizza and left a note (which is limited as to the number of characters I could use) that I wanted a Dillion James with Lil' Hot Mama Peppers. I picked my pizza up on my way back to work, not bothering to check my pizza because I've never had a problem with this location before. But to my surprise, the pizza was burned on one side. Inedible. I called the location and asked to speak to a manager. Jackie helped me and told me that I could come in for another pizza which I did. On my way home from work, I called my pizza order in, introducing myself to the young lady that answered the phone. I thought the young lady hung up because the phone went dead, but Jackie gets on the line and says that her "associate" (said with a tone) passed the phone to her. I picked up my pizza and when I got home to eat it, I noticed that 3 out of the four slices had the stem tops of the peppers on it. You know what I'm referring to, the tops of the peppers that get cut off and thrown in the trash! THREE OF THESE PEPPER TOPS WERE ON MY PIZZA!! NO RESTAURANT PUTS PEPPER TOPS ON PIZZA!!
