The person taking our order was friendly and helpful. The shop was clean. There is a lot of seating inside and feels cluttered. There is outdoor seating as well. We were shocked when for two medium sized sandwiches, 1 chip and 1 reg drink came to $32!! When the sandwiches came one was not as ordered (without lettuce and sprouts) and we brought it to their attention... the person that took our order apologized and said they would make a new sandwich.... However 5 min later he brought the same sandwich back out and said he took off as much as he could and handed it back. For $32 for two sandwiches I would have thought they would have remade it due to their error (and not knowing if there was an allergy). The sandwiches were okay but definitely not worth the price.

It's been a LONG three years since I had a Snarf's fix. There's not one in KC and the one in STL just isn't the same as the CO ones. So when I was in town, I had to hit it up. The store was clean with plenty of seating. The patio is large and would be great to eat at when the weather is nice. They also have clean gender neutral bathrooms. The gentleman that I ordered from had the perfect amount of snark and professionalism and I definitely had some laughs with him. I ordered a whole Cubano. The Cubano was a special sandwich for the month, I'd been jealously reading the emails that I get from them so I was so happy to see they had it. I didn't realize that a whole sandwich was that large. I easily made two meals with it. The Cubano was so tasty. I'd definitely get it again. It was probably the most well done sub sandwich type of a Cubano that I've had. I also got a giant pickle. It was fresh and had great crunch. Next time I'm in Colorado, I'll definitely return and recommend them to anyone. Until then, I'll just sadly wait for them to come East to KC.

I'm not sure why I didn't know until I went to Colorado that we have this restaurant in St. Louis! I got the Italian sandwich. So amazing! Everything is fresh and perfect!! Adorable restaurant and great service!

We were excited to give this spot a try, so took the kids on a weeknight to shake things up and get outside. I really had my hopes up for a solid sandwich spot in CR, but if you've ever had Quiznos, you'll know what to expect. It's your standard toasted sandwich, not great but not bad, although I thought the turkey was better quality than other spots around (very thinly sliced which I like). A few things I hope they change: - the ability to order non-toasted if you want - providing a cheddar option that isn't American - adding a turkey sandwich to the kids menu The good news is the kids mostly liked them so that's a win!

We love snarfs but today my sandwich was completely wrong. I asked for no mayo and there was mayo, I asked for pickle and they didn't put them on, and no seasoning and there was seasoning. The worst part was when I took a bite I bit into baked paper.

A Pastrami sandwich with so little meat or cheese that I couldn't taste either.

Meh, at best. I was a bit peckish and decided to try this place as I have driven by it many times but never stopped. To be honest, I had never heard anything about it, other than a vague "I think it is good" from my wife. Well today was the day and boy did it disappoint. The place is large and clean, with five or six people working behind the counter. I didn't give it much mind when I walked in and there were only a couple of people ahead of me, but after the fact it did seem a little odd, seeing it is noon on a warm but overcast Sunday. Perhaps it because others have been here before and found what i did. An okay, but EXTREMELY overpriced sandwich. I paid $13.76 for a 7" sub roll (the bread was fresh and crusty, so that was good) but I got so little meat and so much mustard to go with my WAY too much lettuce and onion that it was almost inedible. I have attached a picture to show just how little meat was on the sandwich. I probably should only give this place two stars but since I had driven away and then discovered this underwhelming sandwich, I can't say what management would have done, perhaps given me more meat. This does beg the question what I would have gotten if the hadn't ordered the vegetables, perhaps some meat? Probably not... This seems to be happening more and more around Castle Rock and Castle Pines - overprice and under perform. A good thing only rich people live in the area.

New to area thought I would try... Terrible food! Overpriced at $17 a sandwich and barely anything in it!!!! Crusty bread and a little dried out meat no cheese!

I told my wife she could pick whatever she wanted and we would split a medium. After our first visit we learned that the sandwiches are BIG! She ordered a medium BLT Cheese Steak. I was excited when I heard that is what she had decided on. Been a while since I have had a cheese steak sandwich. The woman at the cash register asked if we wanted sweet and/or hot peppers, we went with both! OMG, it could not have been better! Delicious, messy, spicy and BIG! I was so happy she picked that one, it was so darn good. I would order that sandwich again in a heart beat. I had to stop back by the order counter to let them know how super good it was. Love this place! Capriotti's is challenging me against even going to a couple of my favorite burger joints. Always so fresh and delicious! You know we will be back!!

I'll admit, this location is weirdly arranged and kind of small, but gets the job done. We were greeted by the woman behind the counter, placed our order (Hot Italian for me and Wagyu Cheesesteak for him) and within about 10 minutes our food was ready! Each sandwich is made from scratch each order, so the wait was no problem. My hot Italian was decent - would have loved if the bread was toasted, but was tasty, nonetheless. My husband was happy with his sandwich and chips as well. It is kind of pricey - but for the quality of food and today's prices, it's not terrible. Just something to be aware of! One criticism, I don't know if they were understaffed or what, but the entire space was filthy. Crumbs, lettuce, napkins and used cups were all over the tables, floors and counter. Just created a dirty vibe, but one that was quickly overlooked after clearing our own space and eating. Next time, I'll happily eat outside!

I got the BBQ chicken, my husband and got the pastrami, and we got a kids meal grilled cheese. There was a mistake with my sandwich and they made me a new one quickly and gave us a complimentary dessert (probably also because we had a long wait because of point #1). The kids meal is a decent value for the money, and my child ate it happily. My sandwich was packed with all the toppings, no complaints there. My husband did comment that his pastrami was a bit chewy, so he'd likely get something different next time. Overall, a decent experience considering everything. It was busy on a Saturday at lunch time.

Calling this "teriyaki" feels legally questionable. The sauce tasted like someone described teriyaki to a guy who's never actually had it. Sweet? Sure. Savory? Not even a little. And the chicken? The texture was... unsettling. Like it had secrets. Slightly slimy, vaguely suspicious, and absolutely not something I'd voluntarily eat again. I've had better teriyaki from a mall food court five minutes before closing. Attempt #2: The "Gourmet" Grilled Cheese The audacity. The confidence. The boldness of putting the word gourmet in front of what is essentially cafeteria-level deli cheese between basic bread is honestly inspiring. There is no grill involved. None. Zero. This sandwich gets tossed into a microwave like it's being punished. The cheese melts just enough to pretend it tried. By the time you sit down, it's already cold. No crunch. No golden crust. No buttery crisp. Just soft, sad bread hugging melted mediocrity. I've made better grilled cheese at 2 a.m. with one eye open and no groceries. I really wanted to support a new local spot. I walked in hopeful. I left confused. Twice. At this point, if I want a hot sandwich, I'll just stand outside in the sun holding a Lunchable. At least that has consistent standards. Two visits. Two disappointments. My sandwich era at Port of Subs has officially ended. At least the people were friendly there. UPDATE: UPDATE: Port of Subs has now entered the automated response phase of our relationship. Twice. TWICE. They reached out asking for feedback. And twice, I responded with actual details like a human being participating in a conversation. And twice... they completely ignored the fact that I had already replied. Instead, I received another cheerful request asking me to "go back to the feedback section" and provide more information. Like we're trapped in some kind of customer service Groundhog Day. At this point, I'm no longer convinced there are actual people involved. I think the entire operation might just be three microwaves and a haunted survey form. Even the Google review response felt copy-pasted straight from the "Concerned But Not Listening" starter pack. "Please tell us more about your experience." I HAVE. REPEATEDLY. WE ARE NOW LIVING INSIDE THE DETAILS. I'm starting to believe if I walked into the restaurant physically holding the sandwich and explaining the problem out loud, someone would hand me a QR code and ask me to describe it online. Honestly, the customer service experience somehow feels exactly like the food: lukewarm, confusing, and suspiciously disconnected from reality. The wild part is I wasn't even trying to be harsh originally. I wanted this place to improve. I wanted to support a local spot. But after multiple disappointing meals and an endless feedback loop that leads directly back into itself, I feel less like a customer and more like a beta tester for an unfinished sandwich simulation. At this point, I fully expect the next email to ask whether I've tried providing feedback about my feedback.
