Bee sting pizza perfectly sweet AND slightly spicy

Always stellar food and great service. Always a must stop when in castle rock. Try the bee sting pizza! Perfect setting on a nice day with the big doors open!

Granelli's has fantastic pizza, and a great staff. We love going on a mild summer evening when they have the garage doors open, but it is a great atmosphere regardless. We came for breakfast and both pizzas were fantastic. Our favorite for dinner is the beesting!

I was in the very front window seat of Granellis this past weekend during the parade. Granelli's opens at 8am EVERY weekend for breakfast so we got there at 8 to get a good seat and a great breakfast. I have to mention, I was sitting next to my LESBIAN sister in law and across from my bi-sexual daughter. Our waitress, also lesbian was fantastic!!! Granelli's staff is one of the most diverse you will find around!!! Once the parade started, a male customer, not in our party, saw the Democratic portion of the parade and boo'd from the window. I quickly asked him, to please stop. Everyone has a right to believe what the believe and March in any parade! He boo'd a couple more times and then sat back in his seat with his very embarrassed wife! She thanked me for asking him to stop. It was a very unfortunate part of the morning. But in no way is this a reflection of Granelli's beliefs, morals or values. This was ONE immature customer- no employees had anything to do with this. Here are a couple of my pics. Yes I was there and in the window. Unfortunately heard and saw it all. Owner has NO reason to apologize. She was not involved nor were any employees.

The Chicago pizza with sausage, mushrooms and sweet peppers. Yum!

We knew not to trust the 3 star review of this place and we were right! The pizza is so good! This is our new favorite thin crust pizza in the area. Definitely authentic Chicago style.

Our booth on the church side was a little cramped. During the online reservation, it asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I selected anniversary. I did not expect anything elaborate, but a simple acknowledgment would have been nice. There was none. The bread was soft and warm. It was probably the best part of the meal. The rest of the food was just underwhelming. The four seasons salad was okay but not memorable. The crab-stuffed shrimp linguine was also just okay, nothing special. The chicken piccata was overpowered by lemon and had not much flavor. The veal marsala risotto was dry, bland and forgettable. The portions were just right. Service could have been better. It was a little slow and did not feel warm or welcoming. Considering the hype and prices, the experience did not meet our expectations. None of us really enjoyed the meal. For us, it is a one-and-done.

Let's start with the dough, because apparently nobody else did. "Hand tossed" should mean thick enough to support toppings without folding like wet printer paper. It should have some chew. Some softness. Some actual bread-like qualities. What I got was so thin and wafer-like I could practically read the box through it. I've had communion wafers with more structural integrity. The crust or dough wasn't fluffy, airy, or satisfying. The bottom was so aggressively thin it felt less like pizza dough and more like Domino's accidentally invented a new category of cracker. And honestly? This feels like somebody is cutting corners with the dough patties or rushing the proofing process. Because hand-tossed dough is supposed to rise. It's supposed to have body. What showed up looked like the dough gave up halfway through its career. Either the wrong dough patty got used or someone looked at proper proofing times and said, "absolutely not." The wild part is Domino's used to be my dependable "I don't want to cook" option. Not amazing. Not life-changing. But reliable. This pizza felt personal. Like someone in the kitchen saw "hand tossed" and interpreted it as "flatten this dough until it qualifies as office stationery." And to make it worse, I drove there and picked it up myself. I put on pants for this. I spent gas money to personally retrieve disappointment! At this point, frozen pizza isn't competition. It's leadership. At least the staff was friendly. Because emotionally, I needed support after opening that box.

When the delivery driver gave me the food I immediately knew it was missing items. I was missing 2 meals, so I called and pressed 2 to speak to a manager. I explained I spoke with a manager and was there to pick up my missing order. The counter staff went and got a man that explained the female I spoke with was NOT a manager and that she should have gotten one instead of handling it. Great. He went and found my order and handed it to me and said thanks and left. Thank goodness I checked it in the car, it was still missing the salad. I had to go inside a second time to get what was missing from my order. When I got home the dressing was incorrect, there was coleslaw on a sandwich I asked for it to not be on and, a meatball sub had a meatball outside of the sandwich that looked as if a bite was taken out of it, I really hope not! I am so frustrated with Parry's, for Not trying to apologize for the inconvenience of having to come pick up my food after having it delivered and incorrect! I'm not asking for the whole meal to be comp'd just a sincere apology would have gone a long way. Yes, I get it that this is a minor inconvenience, but you do order at a restaurant and expect your order to be correct, to get all of it, and get good customer service for what you pay. Doubt I will ever eat at Parry's Castle Rock again.

Hello, I am writing…read moreto formally express my frustration with repeated issues I have experienced with carryout orders from this location. Unfortunately, I have ordered carryout three times recently, and each experience has been unacceptable. On my first visit, the order tracker indicated my pizza was ready, yet I waited in the store for over 30 minutes before receiving it. On the second visit, I ordered a pepperoni, onion, and mushroom pizza. When I received the order, black olives had been added without my request. After eating the pizza, I became ill. On the third visit, I placed the same order again, and this time Canadian bacon was added without my consent. After this third error, I contacted the store and spoke with the manager, who was unprofessional and dismissive. I was told I would be credited $30, but the overall handling of the situation was disappointing. At this point, my concern goes beyond the credit. Repeated order inaccuracies, long wait times, and poor management response have made it clear that this location does not prioritize accuracy or customer service. Frankly, I would rather pay more elsewhere than continue to have these experiences. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that these issues are addressed, particularly with order accuracy and management professionalism.
