PRICES are out of this world and the Quality and Quantity leave 100% to be desired! I ordered a salad with Turkey and what I was given was a half of a head of lettuce with minor amount of dressing turned upside down and nothing else! My friend ordered the same thing, but was given everything that was missing on my order! We both had a dessert-but sadly didn't check the price. We stopped by here for breakfast with a group of family that was visiting from out of town. Everyone agreed that the ambiance was charming and that the food was great. I had the fajita omelet with chicken and it was very yummy. It had great flavor, was packed with veggies and it was covered in cheese. The cubed breakfast potatoes were crispy and delicious. The French toast was very good too. My husband had the Belgian waffles and he said they were alright but he wished the portion was a bit larger. My husband said that he really enjoyed the hash browns. Everyone else was exclaiming over the pancakes and other items they ordered as well. Overall Catalina's has reasonable pricing, cute ambiance and very good service. Parking is limited in the parking lot but there is some street parking available as well. We will absolutely be back and we will recommend this spot to our neighbors as well. read more

We were out exploring Elizabeth one afternoon. Several locals recommended this diner. We were greeted and seated. The menu is huge. I opted for the Denver omelette and hubby went for a sandwich. Both were great! We tried a milkshake and a key lime pie and they were just okay. We plan to come back for taco Tuesday. read more

This was a suggestion by my friends who live here. The was just passing through on a layover - and she recommended this diner. I AM A FAN OF DINERS!! (I'm an east coast kid ) The menu was extensive and they serve breakfast all day long!! They also serve alcohol as I saw a few margaritas float past our table. The service was friendly and I'm guessing it family run because everyone was friendly! The cooks thanked us for coming in from the kitchen!! Who does that!? THIS PLACE DOES!! The dining room was spacious. The bathrooms were super clean. There's a counter you can eat at. And they offer tables and booths. I ordered the shrimp fajitas and my friends ordered the 3 taco plate - chicken. It was all delicious! Their homemade hot sauce is killer too If you haven't been here you need to! I am sure you'll enjoy whatever you choose at Catalina's. My only critique is they should get a filter system for the tap water they serve - it was not good. Happy grubbing!! read more

We went to Catalina's for the first time this summer and look forward to trying it again soon. The restaurant is a charming old diner. It was clean and they had a good amount of seating. The service was great, and was attentive to each table. Our food we got was classic American, but they had a huge menu with Italian and Mexican food on it. My chicken sandwich was very try and not my favorite. Everyone else seemed to like their food more. I'm sure they have amazing breakfast and hope to try it sometime soon. read more

This diner has such great comfort food ranging from street tacos to Calzones and hot sandwiches. Today's special was FRENCH dips. Served with brisket type sliced beef on a beautiful crunchy bun with gooey cheese. The au jus was just the right salty and beefy. And the dessert-homemade Tiramisu so rich and creamy. This was a cute little stop after a nice family hike! We were coming from Castlewood and have been over the lack of breakfast options in Parker. I saw the town of Elizabeth and figured what the heck! Not a lot of options but that was a cute little stop. We enjoyed some delicious options and for a family of 5, the money was spent was expected. Sadly, we couldn't stay for the rodeo. Walked into a time capsule of sorts. This place has the old time diner look down pact. From the stools, open grill area and diner booth and table layout. We had a fantastic brunch. My son had chicken and waffles (kind of a small portion but good) and I had eggs, sausage and hash browns with gravy. So good. We were seated quickly and our orders taken. Although they say breakfast can take a bit longer, it came in good time. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Great place in a small town. read more

We came here for dinner after visiting the pumpkin patch! I love how they have a train sign as my son really loves train. There's plenty of parking and the welcome sign has the Statue of Liberty in the front of the restaurant! We got the calzones which were enormous!!!! Unfortunately after returning and trying the Mexican options was very disappointed. The vegetables used for the fajitas were whole and from a frozen bag you'd get in the freezer section at the grocery. Been wanting to try Catalina's for the past few years. Well, today was the day! I was excited to see manicotti on the menu which I ordered. The manicotti came with a house salad which I had with blue cheese dressing. It was ok-the dressing reminded me of Kraft blue cheese. The manicotti was served piping hot in a marinara sauce which was Franco Americanish-kinda bland. The garlic bread was not very garlicky and over toasted. Overall the food is ok. The waitress greeted me with a smile. She was attentive and pleasant. The service is good. The ambiance is pleasant except it's very loud in the restaurant-not a good date place. Will I be back? Me and The Hubs were in the area a few months ago and stopped in for lunch. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad. The Hubs ordered a sandwich (I forget which one). We both agreed that the food was decent, but nothing memorable. I do remember commenting that my chicken sandwich was a bit skimpy (most places serve a nice big piece of chicken, Catalina's was a bit on the thin side). What was a pleasant surprise was how clean this place was. You can tell when someone takes pride in their business! The dining room was well-maintained, and the restroom was spotless! Kudos for that. Frankly, I'd be inclined to try this place again. The people were so nice. And I do like a diner! read more

The restaurant reminds me of a retro diner with counter seating, booths, and tables. It is very clean, has funny, cute signs all over, and a huge menu. Surprised by lasagne on the menu, I decided to try it! It arrived piping hot and delicious with a starter salad and homemade Parmesan focaccia. I took about half home with me and it warmed up perfectly. I recommend this diner in the small town of Elizabeth, east of Castle Rock, CO. Service is quick and friendly. My husband had business in Elizabeth and so we decided to come here for lunch due to all the good reviews here on Yelp. It's on the Main Street in Elizabeth and it appears to be an old house that was converted into a restaurant. The place is very cute and charming. They have a very large menu serving breakfast all day, lunch and dinner. After perusing the large menu I selected the meat Ravioli. My husband decided on the tacos due to the fact the taco shells are fried in house, which is rare to find. My entree also came with salad and homemade focaccia bread. Food and service were excellent. I would have rated it 5 stars except on the menu the Ravioli was supposed to be served with Bolognese sauce and the sauce was NOT Bolognese sauce, at least not Bolognese as I know it. True Bolognese has meat and celery, carrots, onion and wine and cream. This had no meat and veggies. It was more of a creamy marinara sauce. Don't get me wrong, the sauce and Ravioli were delicious, but it wasn't as advertised on the menu. My husband loved the tacos. This is a great little restaurant and when back in Elizabeth we will definitely return. read more
