Sliceworks is now in a brand new addition to Scileppi's at the old stone church in Castle Rock and it is a wonderful upgrade. There is a big patio and large open area with big windows that feels much larger and open than their previous room on the other side that felt a bit cramped. The pizza is mostly New York style with some specialty options you can order both by the slice and as a full pie. Their pizzas are pretty big and very tasty. Service has always been great for us here and the price is very reasonable (especially if you just want a slice or two) With the upgrade to the restaurant I am sure that it will be a bit busier but still the best pizza in Castle Rock. read more

We have been here a few times and I can say the consistency is amazing. The service is great, (we had Dylan twice so far and he was attentive, fast, and very informative.) The hostess were sweet when we walked in today, they offered us either side of the restaurant and helped us decide on the better option. Seems like a silly detail but my kids LOVED the sketch pads they received at the table and kept the busy the entire time. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and clean, I love that you can see the pizza options as well. I genuinely believe I can say, this is the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is perfect, not too soft and not too crispy. I got the chicken bacon ranch pizza slice and I regret not getting a whole pizza! We are absolutely going to be regulars! read more

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered a titan IPA, Lg House Salad, a slice of Sicilian pizza and some slices of the flat ?Neoplitan style pizza. Everything was terrific. Savannah was our server. She could not have been nicer and well informed about the food and drink choices. She even knew the difference between Titan and Voodoo Ranger IPA and why folks order more of the former. I have pizza delivered from this location in Castle Rock in the past, but I've never gone in to sit for a meal. My wife and I were in the area and our original plans fell through, so we thought we'd see if Sliceworks had any open seats. The location itself is small, with the pizza ovens to the left and seating to the right. There is also outside seating (but it was a windy day, so inside we went). The staff was very friendly and told us to sit where we liked. Our server came over quickly, gave us menus and took our drink orders. There are many beers on tap, plus soft drinks and wine. Pizza (pies and slices) are readily available ($5 a slice, NY sizes). You can also order many items that are served at 'The Old Church' next door (shared kitchen). I believe this is a hidden gem in Castle Rock and having a slice in the restaurant was so much better than delivery (delivery is pretty good too!). read more

My husband and I sat on the patio with our toddler and it was perfect! Melania was our server and she was phenomenal! Cheers to her! We decided to eat outside because it was a beautiful afternoon! The server was okay, they were busy and he seemed frazzled. We asked for ranch and it took him walking by our table multiple times and us asking again to get it. The pizza was really good, the crust is tasty! We ordered a single slice of the Big Mac to try it and we were all surprised at how good it was. Sitting outside comes with interesting experiences... there was a small mouse that was trying (and failed) to gain entry to the restaurant through the front door. Whether you're dining in, or ordering carryout/delivery, Sliceworks is my favorite pizza in Castle Rock, and certainly one of my top picks in Denver. You can order a whole pizza, or if you aren't as hungry (or want to try different toppings), you can buy by the slice! This is mostly NY style, but I believe they have some thicker crust options. My favorite pizza is the roasted tomatoes and pesto. Really fresh pesto and the tomatoes are roasted and seasoned and added as whole slices. The buffalo chicken and margherita pizza come are also on my favorites list, but you really can't go wrong with anything from Sliceworks. Scileppi's is connected to Slice works, so you can dine in the Old Stone Church, or in the half that Sliceworks occupies (and they also have a patio facing the courthouse/square.) It's a cute little place. Either way, the service is great and I would 10/10 recommend! read more

Before we were even sat at our table, our server/hostess was asking us what would we like to drink (we had never visited this restaurant before). Ended up ordering beverages, garlic knots, and a margarita pizza. The garlic knots were delicious, and our pizza directly followed within the minute. The pizza was severely over-cooked, burnt. Brought it to our server's attention, and she mentioned how all of the cooks were new. Asked a second server whether or not this burnt pizza style was typical and she answered with a "it depends." Second drink ordered did not come until we had finished our meal. No apologies for the tepid service, poor quality of pizza, etc. Sorry to say we won't be returning to this establishment and this family loves pizza! read more

The first thing that makes you realize this is a real New York Pl.. Is that you see a guy tossing a pizza around and expertly. That's the reassurance this former New Yorker needed. You can grab a whole bunch of different slices that are premade, gourmet combinations made fresh or you can do any slice you like with any items, this is the best sliced pizza you can get in the area - although they claim they've been proven to be the best Pizza in Colorado. A bit of a wait on this cold, snowy night, but we were eventually seated. We each went with a few slices. I enjoyed the Buffalo chicken and black and blue. My wife liked her white slices. All of the pizza slices we ordered were so delicious. The white pizza had some of the best textural differences with the crunch of the crust and the softness of the ricotta! The stuffed pizza flavors were robust and delightful. The arugula salad was a great starter but a little strong on the tartness of the dressing. My wife loved it though. The baked potato pizza with bacon and ranch was down right stupid good. The staff there were all pleasant and hard working. A fantastic dining experience. We will go back. read more

Jets has been our favorite & go-to pizza place since moving here but Sliceworks just gave them a run for their money. To be fair, Jets is detroit style & Sliceworks is that thin NYC crust so it will probably just depend on what we're in the mood for. We've eaten inside Scileppi's so it was cool to finally see the inside of the other side of the restaurant. It's cozy in there but I like the casual atmosphere. They have a ton of pizzas on display & the sizes are up there with Pin-Up Pizza in Vegas. We got the garlic knots & 2 slices each. My husband got 2 of the white slices & I got the buffalo chicken & baked potato. The baked potato reminded me of this breakfast pizza I loved at one of our old pizza spots where we lived before. However, hands down the buffalo chicken stole my heart. We will definitely be coming back to try more flavors; this is a new favorite spot! read more

This place has such good gluten free crust. We usually get the works. If you are celiac substitute meatballs they have breadcrumbs. Anyway... My husband and I go sit at the bar and watch them make pizza. Everyone always seems in a good mood. I like Matt. Honestly I would go sit at the bar just to have him joke with me for awhile. It's so hard to find good people and I think this business has done a fine job with creating a culture. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5th star is that when we sat at the end of the bar they kept setting dirty glasses right in front of where I was sitting. I am really sorry to see this place has a couple of bad reviews because it's really good. One bad review because some part time high school kid didn't wear his mask properly and another that seemed legit I guess. Anyway, draw your own conclusions from that. So the pizza... It's really good. Sicilian was the best around since Boulevard left Castle Rock. Regular slices were really good too. Next time I go I will try a sub but give this place a try.
