Hello, I am writing to formally express my frustration with repeated issues I have experienced with carryout orders from this location. Unfortunately, I have ordered carryout three times recently, and each experience has been unacceptable. On my first visit, the order tracker indicated my pizza was ready, yet I waited in the store for over 30 minutes before receiving it. On the second visit, I ordered a pepperoni, onion, and mushroom pizza. When I received the order, black olives had been added without my request. After eating the pizza, I became ill. On the third visit, I placed the same order again, and this time Canadian bacon was added without my consent. After this third error, I contacted the store and spoke with the manager, who was unprofessional and dismissive. I was told I would be credited $30, but the overall handling of the situation was disappointing. At this point, my concern goes beyond the credit. Repeated order inaccuracies, long wait times, and poor management response have made it clear that this location does not prioritize accuracy or customer service. Frankly, I would rather pay more elsewhere than continue to have these experiences. Pizza was terrible tonight. Sauce had no taste, dough was undercooked, and veggies tasted like they came from a frozen bag.

Garbage. Papadia is a joke. It's literally a kids personal pan pizza folded in half. The commercial makes it look so big and then you get this trash. I've swore off Papa Johns before but this time I'm done. I'll never order from this trash pizza place ever again. read more

I do not usually leave reviews but this place certainly needs one. The last few times I have ordered from here, I was told it was a 35 minute delivery time. 2 hours later there was still no pizza. I tried calling the store each time to cancel my order but no one answered the phone! Each time I eventually received my order and it was cold and obviously had been sitting out for several hours! I understand every business is short staffed but if you cannot realistically offer quality food with your delivery than maybe you shouldn't do delivery at all. When I called this time , I was hung up on 3 times. I finally got through to someone, who transferred me to someone else, who transferred me to someone else, who hung up on me. Pizza finally arrived. Cold and dry. And missing parts of the order and all the sauces. Better off going to the grocery store to get all the ingredients and make it yourself. I placed a online order that said 32 minutes for delivery. I called after an hour to check the status of my order they told me it was prepared and they were waiting for a driver. They could not give me an ETA. I went ahead and canceled my order. I was very upset after an hour of waiting there was no courtesy call letting me know that the pizza was going to be delayed due to lack of driver availability. It is common courtesy to call and let your customer know that their food will be delayed. Now we are making new dinner arrangements after they're poor time management. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION!!! I would give a 0 star rating if I could. And I wish that I had read the bad reviews of this location before I ordered. I placed an order at this location and never received my order. I called the location several times after 2 hrs went by and no one picked up. I called the next day and spoke with the manager who could not give me an answer as to why my order never showed up. I finally got my money back after a few days, but to never show up with my order and not have a legitimate reason for the issue is completely unacceptable. I called the corporate office and that was a waste of time as well as nothing every came of it. I would recommend no one order from this location and call corporate as well even if nothing will come of it they cannot say that they were not made aware of the issue with this location. I will NEVER order Papa Johns again and just stick with Dominoes & Little Caesars instead. At least I know I will get actually get my pizza. read more

I really hate to write negative reviews because I realize how much small businesses depend on them. that's sad, I've contacted the local restaurant and the corporate office multiple times about my issues and they're still not addressing them. I decided to give our local Papa John's in Castle Rock on Wilcox one last chance yesterday on New year's Eve. At 3pm we scheduled delivery of pizzas for our party at 6:45 p.m.. Aound 7:10pm we called in and after a lengthy hold were told that our pizza was out for delivery but they could not tell us when it would be there. when I mentioned that the delivery was scheduled hours earlier, I was told it didn't matter. They were all processed the same way. The pizza finally arrived over an hour late. Castle Rock has an abundance of pizza restaurants, I see no reason to ever order from this one again. read more

On two occasions the pizza took over an hour and a half to get here (i live about 10 minutes from the store). Their phone system barely works so it's difficult to contact them and when your call is answered they put you on endless holds. This place is a joke, unless you enjoy ice cold pizza. read more

My wife just had a baby and had one request "I want papa Johns babe please". We ordered at 6pm with a 35 min wait time. Around 7:30 we started getting worried that the driver was lost or hurt. At 8 o'clock a call was made to find out what was going on. They noted that they were behind but the pizza was coming. At 9pm we called again and they said they cancelled the order. Order at your own risk. There's an 85% chance something will be wrong with your order, whether it be wrong toppings, sauce or sides. I always order online and pick up so there's no confusion via phone and it still gets messed up. When it's made right it's usually pretty good. Poor Customer Service. The "Manager" Summer needs to go through training. I ordered pizza with a 45 minute wait time. When my order was 20 minutes late and i called, she said they got busy and it would take another 30 minutes. She didn't offer an apology, she had attitude when i was frustrated that my order would take nearly 1 hour 45 mins to deliver and not the 45 minutes i signed up for. She ended up hanging up on me. When i called back, she said she didn't have to deal with me if i was being rude. I wasn't being rude, just an upset customer who had 3 starving kids at home and was lied to about the delivery time. She clearly needs training on how to handle an escalated situation, rather than making it worse by having attitude herself and hanging up on someone. I will not be ordering from this location again. MESSAGE TO OWNERS. Don't throw someone in management for a warm body. They are a representation of you and your store. They told us 53 minutes, and at hour and 20 minutes I started calling to cancel. The first time they answered, put me on hold, and then hung up on me. The next five times nobody answered. I tried pushing the "order" button instead of the "previous order" button, but turns out that they outsource their order line (sounded like a different country) and couldn't cancel my order. When the pizza arrived an hour and 45 minutes after I placed the order online, I told the delivery driver to take it back, and process a refund. His response was a not very polite "whatever works for you". What would have worked for me would have been pizza in 53 minutes. This is the third time in the last couple of months that they have delivered more than an hour past the promised window. But at least they send us a coupon for a free cheese pizza. The last time we redeemed that, it took over an hour past their delivery window. So I'm done. App deleted, and I'll go with one of the local places next time. read more

We used to love Papa John's but this store is the worst. They repeatedly miss delivery times, forget items, and make lame excuses for bad service. The last straw was that they blew us off completely, giving several excuses for why our order was late, but saying it was "on the way" for a full 2 hours. When it never arrived and we tried to get our money back they said they couldn't find our online order at all, and therefore, couldn't refund our credit card. Now I'm left disputing the charge instead. Unacceptable! We won't order from here again. read more

I'm sorry to have to write this review because out of all of the different delivery pizza, Papa John's is my favorite. And it wasn't until recently that they would actually deliver to my home... They've had a location in Castle Rock for a long time but it's in Castle Pines and they didn't deliver to the southern part of Castle Rock (where I live). When it was announced that they were opening a 2nd Castle Rock location, that served my neighborhood, I was very happy... But all that changed when I ordered from them recently... I ordered three pizza's for delivery and was promised a 30 to 45 minute delivery time. At the 75 minute point I called and was told that my pizza's were there ready to be picked up... Ha... I hadn't ordered carryout... I know because the gal who took the order verified my address. So a 'manager' got on the line and promised to have the pizza's remade and out to me, for free! I was satisfied. When the doorbell rang about 15 minutes later I was surprised.. how could they have remade my pizza and delivered it in 15 minutes. I tipped the driver because it wasn't their fault and then realized that they hadn't remade the pizza... They delivered the now 1.5 hour old pizza which was cold. Great. And they made two of the three pizza's wrong. Wow... So I called back and asked to speak to the manager. Funny thing. The guy who said he was the manager answered and when I asked to speak to the manager, he put someone else on the phone... someone who didn't speak English very well and who professed to know NOTHING about my problem. So now I'm wondering if the 'first' guy was the manager or someone else covering for a co-worker/friend... And if the 2nd guy was really the manager. I asked for the name and phone number of the regional manager which was eventually given. I left that person a message and it's been two week... do you think they ever called back? Nope... So a few days later I posted feedback via the PapaJohns website and do you think asking for a call back.. do you think anyone called? Nope... So while I got my cold pizza for free, I'm definitely not happy and probably won't be ordering from Papa John's again. read more

Papa John's should probably swap out the entire staff at this joint. They don't know what they're doing. They don't understand and embrace the qualities that Papa John's stands for. They don't care about the customer. They are not producing quality products. I run a very large business and I can guarantee you, just based on my experience today, your revenues at this store are declining, the store is under-performing, and worst of all their hurting their brand. My pizza was burnt, fairly bad, i.e. to the point that I didn't even want to eat it. I called the store and spoke with a friendly staff member that did not know what she was doing. Being patient she tried to record my address (should be on file). Fifteen min later the clerk had taken my address and accidentally erased it three times. At that point I asked for a manager and the experience progressed from bad to horrible. He started by offering to bring me a new pizza. I figure that's a good deal. Then he told me that there is a delivery fee and they can't waive it. This doesn't make any sense. They burnt my order and agreed to fix it if I paid a delivery fee. The original order total was $11. I had already driven down to pick up the pizzas (gas and time), one of them was burnt and now they wanted me to pay an additional $2.50 for delivery. That's like saying if you pay a total of 125% of your original promised purchase price I will fix it. Additionally I would need to tip the drive because that is only fair. So now Papa Johns is really saying if I pay 160% of the original asking price they would be happy to make it right. The manager refused to waive the fee, and needless to say I refuse to pay for a corporation to fix a mistake that is clearly their own. ~~~~~~~~ Update: The regional director did contact me to discuss the situation. He apologized and admitted that the top oven needed calibrated and was burning the pizzas. That explained how one could be burnt when the other was fine. He did make a valid attempt to make it right and offered to comp my next order. I let him know I appreciated it but would never pay Papa Johns for another pizza again in my life. He also said they will review the policy and should not be charging customers to fix their mistakes. I hope this is true. read more

I took advantage of their deal for a medium meat pizza for $7.99 to try Papa Johns again and 2/3 of the pizza ended up in the trash. The pizza was fine but it was like the toppings were placed on the pizza halfway through the cooking process weirdly and it tasted odd. The crust was fine, chesse was melted and the pizza itself was cooked but the toppings tasted like they weren't cooked the same amount of time as the rest of the pizza read more
