Mozzarella Hot Cheetos & Whole Mozzarella with spicy mayo

Was on the hunt for a cheese dog since two hands closed and this one wasn't as crispy as I had hoped it would be and the sauce options weren't what I expected. Service was good though!

This place was small and cute. Not too much seating. More like a grab a go vibe. I got the potato mozzarella corndog and was slightly disappointed they didn't offer sugar to be sprinkled on top but then again I was too shy to ask if it was an option lol (next time for sure) they did however have a few dressings on the side that you could drizzle on yourself. As for the taste it was a little more on the bland side compared to others I've tried. I also got a mango green tea that I absolutely LOVED and will definitely be back for another at some point. As for the service... it wasn't bad but it wasn't the best? It was quick with minimal interaction so I guess it's pretty good for introverts who don't like to talk lol

Since traditional mochi donuts are gluten free I decided to get some. The donuts are 3 for $10. They also have mochi holes but an out. The donuts that o got basically all tasted the same. It was pretty much the same donut with different coatings. Service was fast and accurate. This is set up like a traditional donut shop. Small tables and large donut display. Ample parking in the lot outside.

Stopped by this place to try some of the corn dogs and they were delicious. Customer service was also great. The donuts were delicious . I would definitely recommend and will be going back.

What a concept! Combining mochi and donut seems like a brilliant idea after the fact. The mochi provides more density and chewiness than the traditional donut dough, and the interesting flavors for the filling add another dimension to the donut experience. I love the strawberry and the ube flavors. I wish I could try more, but my waistline is already expanding and I can't further sacrifice my health for a momentary bliss. Service was not unfriendly but efficient, and the mochinuts in the display case were all tantalizing. The brightly colored posters were effective in drawing anyone walking by. The neon-pink containers also help advertise their products. The marketing department really got it right. Parking is always a nightmare at this shopping center, but that's beyond the control of any one business. It's a testament of a bustling economy and a collection of hip restaurants.

The donuts were good. Their flavors change every Friday. I really liked the dark chocolate and strawberry. I would order here for parties

The many kinds of corn dogs offered here at Chungchun (or is it Mochinut) caught me off guard. I had been here once before a long time ago and could have sworn there wasn't that many on the menu, just the plain original one, one with cheese and then a spicy one. I ordered the Hot Cheetos and my girlfriend had the Original. We both enjoyed them, and we liked how they give you a little cup of spicy mayo, as well as some ketchup and mustard. So many different way to try it and give it flavor :) . I will say the only thing I didn't like was the way the Hot Cheetos one was breaded. It was more like soft and the cheeto dust would fall off every time I took a bite. The original was a lot more crunchy and seemed to have the right amount of breading on it. It was still pretty good though, overall, I would come back here to try some of the other stuff on the menu because I love how much variety they offer and how quick the service is too. Come give it a try if you are tired of plain old American corn dogs.

This place is more of a 3.5z service was good and the hotdogs stuff is bomb. Their actual mochinut doughnuts and drinks though were meh. The doughnuts tasted stale and not springy like the other locations' and the drinks were way too sweet. I love the design and how it looked though so will def be back for food.

I was in the Artesia area today and suddenly craving for Korean cheese dog. Chunghun is right around the corner on South St. It is a small little shop merged with Mochinuts. Sweet and Savory all in one place. You can order your food through the cashier and once the order is ready they will call your order number on the receipt. I order the basic mozzarella half ( with half hot dog) . There is defiitely crispiness, I ate it super fresh and hot right when it came out. but still not impressive. The prices is fair for $4.50. I've had better cheese dog in the past. I might give another item a chance when If I do return.

    Janice B.

You can't order a single mochi nut. You have to buy a box. They should offer to sell singles. Tried 3 of the corn dogs. My husband and I shared. He wasn't impressed. Too much breading or too much mochi, and it tasted stale. I liked the Hot Cheetos but it was oily.

    Jeenee Y.

If you're into Mukbang I know you've seen those special wrapped up corn dogs! This place is it! They have different varieties of decked out corn dogs to choose from. I had to try atleast 3 different so settled for the potato covered, bacon wrapped, and the mozzarella! For the price it's OK and the size are huge! The only thing that I was surprised is that it was a little bland and too much dough. Other than that it was pretty bomb and of course for the experience:)

First a note, this place has its name changes to Mochidonut. This may help avoid some confusion. What can I say about this place except that it is definitely an interesting spot, taking note of the ethnic food craze to find something unique in a sea of diverse foods. This spot capitalizes korean corn dog concept popular in Korea. Having had both the one in Korea and the one here, I'd say that they are about the same. To be fair, I'm not he biggest corn dog person, but I do appreciate how different this tastes compared to an American corn dog. Now on to the second food concept they offer, Mochidonuts. The dough they use is definitely different than mainstream donuts, but at the end of the day it's still fried dough with various toppings. If you're curious, give this place a try. I don't think it'll blow your mind, but it's definitely something different and fits in with the foods in that area.

    Is anything gluten free?

Just called the restaurant. Employee there said nothing on the menu is gluten free.

    Is the batter gluten-free?

I'd say no. It's rice batter and bread crumbs. I haven't seen a gluten free batter option but it doesn't hurt to call and ask just in case

What kind of meat do they use for the hotdog?

Korean hotdog meat. They also use no meat. And they also use all cheese. #9. They have an all beef dog #7 and last they have sausage. Hope that helps

Do they have turkey hotdogs or just beef?

No turkey dog. Didn't see one.

If they're "rice" hotdogs does this mean they're gluten free?

Do you guys know what time they close?

    Mondays-Thursdays: 10:00pm Fridays-Sundays: 10:30pm

    What time do you open?

    11:00am

Do they take call in or takeout/ to go orders?

    No they do not

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

I thought the Bulgolgi fries would be number one. Sadly it's not. If you mess up steamed egg, ima gonna say no to the rest of your menu. I would order two next time and just stick to that. The cheese corn was okay, but compared to PaDak and other local Korean spot I say skip this. The cheese tasted weird to me and I did t like that it was also a kraft American cheese. As a cheese lover, I only expect that square cheese to be on a burger or cheese melt. The Bulgolgi Fries could serve 3 people. But it was drenched with sauce, and spicy sauce. Not enough Bulgolgi to pay $20. The cut of fries were this nd tasted like sweet potato. It just didn't fit my taste buds. The Garlic noodle okay. That's Al I have to say about that. We ordered the naengmyeon combo with spicy marinated pork and a side of soybean paste stew. The lady was nice when she seated us, but seemed a little bothered when we only ordered the above items, because she coldly asked "if that was all" and we said yes. She walked away then yells back asking if we wanted rice because rice wasn't included, and we said no. Despite the rough start with the vibe of the lady who took our order I was still hopeful the food itself would make up for it. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I've never had naengmyeon that had so much chili flakes, and as someone who doesn't mind them, it was weird. The soybean paste soup was bland. And the side dishes were just okay. After the meal, I got really thirsty and my face was puffy so they are using msg. If it was a good meal, I wouldn't have minded the msg, but for food that was mediocre at best was not worth it. Although I won't be back, I did see people ordering for take out nonstop, so there must be some other dish that is giving them customers.
