Friendly service and the BBQ beef was really tasty and well-seasoned. The veggies were fresh too. Unfortunately, the kimchi fried rice was a miss... hard and kind of stale, like it had been sitting too long in the food warmer. The vibe was also a bit off: no music, warm air, and not much ventilation. I'd come back for the beef and friendly staff, but hope they improve the rice and atmosphere next time.

Classic BBQ Beef Bowl

First time here and the classic BBQ feef bowl was absolutely delicious! The workers were so welcoming and offered suggestions on what toppings to add. The sauce the bowl came with added a great spice. My stomach was satisfied. The place was very clean. All tables were neat and there were many options to sit at. Definitely recommend!

I love CAVA and this is a similar theme where you get to choose your own ingredients and create your meal. The food is fresh, tasty and the portions are perfect. Big enough to fill you up but not so big where you feel like you're overeating. The dining area is clean and the owner was so nice and friendly. It's too bad it's not closer, otherwise we'd be regulars but will be sure to try the West Covina location which is closer to our home

A great place for healthy bowl. The portion is reasonable for the price. The vegetables are unlimited. I like this kind of healthy bowl and I found that any pairing goes well together. Compared to healthy bowl in diet meal plan I used to have, this one is saltier. So, I guess it depends on what people want. But in terms of taste, it's delicious for sure. Their homemade popcorn is very good and worth trying.

The service was horrible. The cilantro is not chopped enough. They leave the steams really long that I almost choked. The restrooms definitely need some cleaning. I was so disappointed. I rather go to Cava for fresh food.

The most disgusting dirty kitchen I've seen the floor is literally black and there's grease all over there equipment. I got sick from eating here..

On + On is fresh, quick, and a healthy alternative to fast food when you are needing a quick lunch. They kimchi is good but would prefer it to have some kick to it! The veggies are always perfect and not too overdone, however the meat quality is questionable. This is a very hit or miss place on the quality of meat/poultry you will be getting that day and due to this I knocked it down to 3 stars. Unfortunately this would probably be a spot I'd only get if I was in a hurry and there was nowhere else. If they upped their game with the quality then I would be a frequent customer! "fingers crossed"

Food is delicious. But the kitchen is filthy. The topping bowls are so dirty. They were eating, where they prep the food, as I walked in. Currently trying to not think about the dirty kitchen as I eat this delicious bowl.

Chicken Nori Bowl
Kelli M.

This was the second time we went. The first time I ordered the salmon nori bowl and it was a 5/5. The nori sauce paired perfectly with the salmon and everything in it. The second time I went, I ordered a salmon nori bowl, but substituted chicken in for salmon and did not have the humus. It was a perfect 5/5. I forget the sauce I had, but it was lighter and sweeter. So good!!

Ask the Community - ON + ON Fresh Korean Kitchen

Confused by hours, stopped by on a Sunday at 3 and was closed?

Does this place offer a vegan bowl like chipotle?

I don't know what Chipotle offers, but you don't have to have meat on your bowl. The bowls are tasty with just veggies and rice.

After 2 peak lunch hour visits, I found the food to not be warm or hot. My meals were cool. Have they figured out their food temperature issues, yet?

I agree, some times that I came here the food was not "hot" but warm at most.

Any good gf or keto options here? Obviously salad but is salmon and chicken made w/o soy sauce?

Pretty sure almost everything is GF they have buckwheat noodles

From the friendly service that made us feel like home, to the delicious food, everything hit the spot. We ordered the cold noodle, seafood pancake, bibambap, and short rib combo. All the dishes were so good! And all the banchan that came with it was the cherry on top. The only negative was the table was kind of small for all the dishes...though that could have been user error with us ordering way too much. Portions were surprisingly big, especially the seafood pancake. The whole time, our littlest one was making a mess and the ladies that worked there did not seem perturbed at all, and kept commenting about how cute he was and interacting with him. This type of service and response made us feel more at ease and able to "enjoy" our meal, and that makes a world of difference. I would recommend! Note the parking lot is a little small.

My mom also tried this place and recommended it, so I felt confident this would be a spot I would be coming often. We ordered the naengmyeon combo with spicy marinated pork and a side of soybean paste stew. The lady was nice when she seated us, but seemed a little bothered when we only ordered the above items, because she coldly asked "if that was all" and we said yes. She walked away then yells back asking if we wanted rice because rice wasn't included, and we said no. Despite the rough start with the vibe of the lady who took our order I was still hopeful the food itself would make up for it. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I've never had naengmyeon that had so much chili flakes, and as someone who doesn't mind them, it was weird. The soybean paste soup was bland. And the side dishes were just okay. After the meal, I got really thirsty and my face was puffy so they are using msg. If it was a good meal, I wouldn't have minded the msg, but for food that was mediocre at best was not worth it. Although I won't be back, I did see people ordering for take out nonstop, so there must be some other dish that is giving them customers.

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

I highly recommend the seafood pork bone soup noodle because it was super tasty, but be aware that mild is still kind of spicy. The lady in the front was strict but reasonable, just like any real place should be. Customers were mostly family they knew the place and chatted with the boss. The atmosphere is very simple with tables that you can sit anywhere.

We ordered the following: Bulgolgi Fries Garlic Steak Noodle Egg Cheese corn Ranking in best to so-so, I'd have to say is the steamed egg. Yes, I was surprised too. I thought the Bulgolgi fries would be number one. Sadly it's not. If you mess up steamed egg, ima gonna say no to the rest of your menu. I would order two next time and just stick to that. The cheese corn was okay, but compared to PaDak and other local Korean spot I say skip this. The cheese tasted weird to me and I did t like that it was also a kraft American cheese. As a cheese lover, I only expect that square cheese to be on a burger or cheese melt. The Bulgolgi Fries could serve 3 people. But it was drenched with sauce, and spicy sauce. Not enough Bulgolgi to pay $20. The cut of fries were this nd tasted like sweet potato. It just didn't fit my taste buds. The Garlic noodle okay. That's Al I have to say about that. I'm glad I finally tried this place, but I don't know if I would come back for anything on their menu. I would rather go next door or across the street.
