So me and my other half are both, let's just say, not the cleanest creatures. I'm reasonably tidy, he's ... less tidy than that, and neither of us are really ones for activities like scrubbing. Or dusting. Or anything more advanced than occasionally bleaching the sink and cleaning the toilet. In our old place, that was enough (that's what we told ourselves anyway), but we recently were lucky enough to find a reasonably priced rowhouse to rent and now have, let's say, 1500 more sq feet than before. And a dog. The dog doesn't shed, but its still one more body and thing to take care of. And our old ways just weren't going to be enough. Erica Mobley has been coming in on a weekly basis and putting our life in order. I almost don't want to step inside a room after she's cleaned it because it looks so nice. I just want to take pictures of the house and send them to my Mom so she'll be (mistakenly) proud of my housekeeping skills. But that would be a lie, so I'll probably send her this review instead. But yeah, super convenient and great value. Really hard to beat coming home to a sparkling clean home when you've been at work all day. Also, when my other half got called out of town unexpectedly (because a friend won a free trip to Vegas -- he has a hard life), Erica was more than willing to set up four days of quick visits to walk our dog during the day while I was at work doing long shifts. This meant a lot to us, because we were already comfortable with her in our home and she agreed on short notice too. We haven't had the floor cleaning yet, so I can't speak to the quality of that, but my understanding is that Mr. Mobley takes care of it and I'll try to review that in the future. Imagine you're three days away from leaving for a Christmas vacation (and haven't packed), three days since moving into a new apartment (and haven't unpacked), five days from Christmas, and come down from a cold from hell...but still have an old apartment that is in desperate need for a move-out clean. Do you know how hard it is to find someone to come in for a last minute clean? Incredibly. Erica hesitated only a moment (presumably checking her calendar) when she said they could be there two days later. The place looked great and was nearly perfect for our inspection the next day. Most especially wonderful? Erica and her husband wiped out my fridge/freezer (we had some terrible home-made Popsicle overflow remnants that promised to be a sticky mess) and made my laundry room (full of lint dust and detergent drips) look like we'd never done laundry there. Truly a God-send. I would definitely use them again. I just hope they don't mind if I take credit for their housekeeping skills when my boyfriend's parent come to visit. read more

I found the Mobley's here on Yelp - and I needed someone to do a move out cleaning in for my one bedroom apartment. I didn't meet them, because I was out of town but someone let them into my apartment. I was a little nervous, because when I got back the next day, I had my fingers crossed that everything would be clean enough to get my deposit back! Well - the place looked amazing. I am almost jealous of the next person moving into my old apartment, because it is A LOT cleaner now than it was when I moved in. Seriously, could not find a single spot in the apartment from the oven to the window blinds to small ledges in the apartment that were not cleaned and wiped down. Price wise, they were below the market average in the area, so if you are looking for any cleaning work in the area I highly recommend trying out Mobley's. read more

I'd read good things about Mobley's on yelp and gave them a call. I left a message, and Jason called me back within an hour or so. Already impressed, since I've read lots of reviews where return calls are a rarity. He talked me through the cleaning options, and I chose the $185 deep cleaning service, which includes all of the cleaning we'd expect, plus a complete clean of the inside of the fridge and microwave. I realize that $185 is pricey, but I promise, the place needed some TLC and some elbow grease. Worth it to me! Here's the thing that got me: When I asked who would come to my house, Jason said it would either be him or his wife. I said, "How do you do that if you're so popular? Do you guys do all the jobs?" He said that their previous experience showed if they didn't do it themselves, it didn't get done at the quality they and their customers expect. Bam. That's a business with integrity. Pros: On time. Jason called about 8:30 am for a 9:00 appointment to say he was running a half-hour late, but in the end, he was at my house at 9:05. Perfect. Spotless house. I only have 620 sq ft, so admittedly, there isn't much to clean. But the price was worth it because I came home to a condo that was gleaming. Jason had moved a few of my kitchen items (not a biggie to me - others might have a problem with that, but just let him know) and it looked better his way. It's amazing how much better things look when the baseboards are scrubbed and the dust is gone. It's just brighter. Communication. Jason confirmed the night before, called the morning of to say he was running late (but wasn't), and called me at work before he left the job to say he'd finished, and reviewed what he had done. Cons: Something got broken. A vase. Eh. I didn't really care, though bummed to hear the news. The thing that left me impressed was that he called me at work to tell me he'd broken it, and did I want to take it out of the check? Or get something else cleaned? Or hold payment? He felt terrible. The fact that he called, explained what happened, and didn't just leave a note (or no note! that's happened!) spoke again to the integrity and pride he and his wife put into their business. Big fan. I already made an appointment for early July. It'll be nice to have a regularly cleaned house by a company that I can trust. It's that simple for me. I'll pay a price I feel is fair (the deals don't seem to work in my favor), so long as I have trust in the person doing the job. read more

We just had Erica and Jason come to our apartment and do the initial deep cleaning. Where to begin? Erica returns calls and emails very promptly and is friendly and professional. Their services are very reasonably priced and they are as nice as can be. So we were incredibly excited before they even came. So they're friendly, professional, reasonably priced... what kind of job did they do? Well, our place was... in need of some help. We live in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment with a ton of shelving and a wonderful, loving dog who sheds nonstop. Erica and Jason came right on time and threw themselves into the job. When we came home, we were happily shocked to see how the place sparkled. They dusted every square inch of our apartment, mopped, organized our pots and pans (we had asked for help with this due to some oddly-shaped cabinets), changed our bedding, washed our sheets and towels (we hadn't even asked - what an awesome surprise that was!), and just turned the entire place around. Such an amazing feeling to come home to a perfect, shiny, glistening apartment with not even a speck of dust left. And now? We're excited to have Erica and Jason come to do the weekly cleaning service so our home can actually continue to look this great. Thanks, guys!! read more

Mobley was able to come out at the last minute, in a pinch, to do a complete home cleaning before we moved into our new house. They did an aight job, but not excellent. Probably a 3.5 stars. We went through the house with them and listed exactly what we needed done (everything, pretty much). They did *most* of what we'd asked for, but there were little things my fiance had to go back and ask them to do (like all the windowsills...) After they'd left we found a number of odd things left undo (the air conditioning vents were caked in dust, for example, and some of the closets and cupboards were untouched, etc). It was $275 to clean our 2-bedroom single family home. I thought that was a reasonable price to deep-clean the place, but we didn't *quite* get the complete experience I was hoping for. The Mobleys were very friendly, professional, and arrived on time. We appreciated them being able to fit us in before our furniture arrived the next day. read more

First, absolutely book your cleaning with Mobley's Stress Less Cleaning service. Just do it. Second, I know that my 4-star review is lower than many of their reviews, but I never leave 5 stars on a first-time use. It's too likely to change. I plan to use Mobley's again and wouldn't be at all surprised to bump this up to a 5-star review. Every year I get a spring cleaning done on my apartment. In 2012, I got a quote from Mobley's but went with a different service that had a schedule opening exactly when I needed it. In the end, that was my mistake. I wasn't very pleased with what I paid for. So this spring, I looked at the quotes I had gotten, checked the Yelp reviews again, and emailed Erica Mobley. SO GLAD I did! One thing that I truly appreciate is that their website (http://www.mobleyslc.com/) lists a very clear fee schedule, with prices based on number of bedrooms, number of stories, deep clean v. regular, and a standard $25 pet fee. Other cleaning services should do this! I loved knowing exactly what the difference was between a regular one-time cleaning and a deep cleaning, and knowing that the extra work of dealing with pervasive pet hair (and one overly friendly cat) was worth $25. They had great scheduling flexibility and were able to give me a last appointment of the day, which meant I was able to leave work at 5. Jason and Erica (a delightful couple) both introduced themselves to me, although Jason tackled the job solo (which is fine because our 1 br is only about 700 sf). He took about 2.5 hours to do the deep cleaning, which seems both very thorough and much more efficient that I could be. Everything on the deep cleaning list was done, as were the things I mentioned in my email to Erica (baseboards, window sills, dusting ceiling corners). He asked a lot of questions to make sure things were getting done the way I wanted, which really distinguished their service from the others I have hired. When Jason was done, after the walk-through, we chatted for a few minutes as he packed up, but he remembered something he had forgotten, unpacked a few things, and took care of it. Would I have noticed? No. Another sign of great service. I only wish I could have frozen the apartment in that wonderful state of cleanliness. Like I said up front, we will definitely be using Mobley's Stress Less Cleaning again in the future. read more

I called Mobley's in late February desperate to have someone regain the sanity in my large one-bedroom apartment. I wouldn't say my apartment was filthy but it was in dire need of a good scrub down. Jason agreed to come to my apartment so I could meet him first. I really appreciated this. he was able to schedule my first cleaning within a week of meeting him. He is personable, really nice, forthright, and most important good at his job. I think the rates he charges are pretty well in line and maybe a little lower than some larger agencies, but I really like that I know it will be him who comes to clean my place, not whichever person is available that day. He has now been twice and I really appreciate his work. I am really glad to have him coming back every two weeks. read more

Mobley's cleaning service is AWESOME. We've been using them for weekly cleanings for six months and they have never once disappointed. Our one-bedroom apartment is always spotless--and I have a horrible dust allergy so can tell if cleaners have done a sloppy job--and looks amazing. They're also really competitively priced--much cheaper than some of the big DC area services--and are really flexible about schedules. Today, when I found out my parents were paying a surprise visit, I emailed Jason and he was able to do a last-minute extra clean for me. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Mobley. I let my condo get way too dirty recently (including letting my dog's hair basically take over), and Erica and Jason came to save the day. I paid for the deep cleaning service (fridge, microwave, baseboards, etc.), and it was worth every penny. They did a fantastic job. Jason and his wife took the time to work with me to find a time to clean my home. The prior owner of our newly purchased condo left the place filthy with bird poop strewn about various surfaces. We had 3 women from another professional service come the day before to clean. Although they did a fine job, the apartment still had a ways to go. Enter Jason and his 4 hour deep cleaning that brought the place to live able. It smelled great after he finished and felt even better!! They may do a great job of cleaning but I wouldn't know since they never showed up for the appointment. We needed service at a specific time since it was a between-tenants apartment cleaning, and had scheduled it accordingly. When they didn't show, I called several times and emailed, and they finally called me back but not until 5 hours later, by which time I'd had to hire another company last-minute.
