The cleaning was booked for just the main and top floors, but was still over $300, including $30 for an oven cleaning. I'll start with the positive- customer service and communication was great - responsive and friendly. I was told the deep cleaning would take up to 3 hours. I was home to greet the cleaners and left my husband home while I ran an errand. My husband called literally an hour later and said they were done. I rushed home to check the work and found visible mold/ dirty in the shower, which is the ENTIRE reason I called a professional service. My stove cleaning was also not completed. I reported what I found to customer service and sent pictures. They apologized and scheduled for the cleaners to return - TWICE. They canceled each time, and in the end, never returned. I was granted a $30 refund for my oven and $20 credit for my next service. I would NOT recommend this company and will not return to book any additional services. Beware. UPDATE 9/29/26: Spekless Cleaning contacting me after my original review and offered a complimentary cleaning - including an oven cleaning. Yes, it would've been great to receive the proper service the first time around, but I truly appreciate their efforts in finding a resolution and it showed how much they value the opinions of customers. They've converted me as I wasn't previously someone who wanted to go through what I thought was a hassle to have cleaners come in, but Capital Maids makes it easy and the end results are just wow. Getting an estimate and the first cleaning scheduled was easy--super responsive, and the team arrived promptly at my requested time. Man, did they get down to business quickly, carefully, and did an amazing job. I'd meant to do a "pre-cleaners' clean" to move a lot of clutter out of the way and get bags of unfolded laundry put in the closet so that they had a clearer workspace: when I saw how they had straightened up my bedroom in addition to cleaning, I breathed a huge sigh of relief! My half-finished organizing projects and haphazard stacks of things waiting to be weeded through were all neatly arranged and order was restored, in addition to the vacuuming and dusting, plus flawless bed made. The jumbles of clothes on my "chairderobe" (you know, that piece of furniture that collects unfolded clean clothes and clothes that don't need to be washed) were all impeccably smoothed and expertly folded. I was working from home in another room and they didn't bother me with questions or make much noise, just politely asked me to move to a clean room once they needed to work on the room I was in. Bathrooms are sparkling, kitchen stove top looks almost new, visual order has been restored in my family room, lol. The end result: a nice reboot on my two bed, two bath condo that had been neglected for too long and needed a good top to bottom clean. She was very responsive via email, always getting back to me the same day, and her quote was very reasonable. The night before my appointment, she texted me to confirm and let me know that it would be her helper, Alicia, who'd be stopping by. Alicia texted me 45 minutes prior to the appointment time saying she was already nearby and could start at 9:45 instead if that worked for me. I was happy to get started earlier, and she actually ended up arriving at 9:38. Talk about punctual! Alicia brought all her own supplies; I was surprised how much stuff she actually hauled along with her. She was very friendly and started by asking where I'd like to direct her. I told her my priorities and then left her to it. She worked diligently from 9:45 until 11:20, starting with the bathroom and ending ultimately with mopping the floors -- she was very practical in her approach for mopping, and actually mopped herself out of the apartment! It was kind of funny, but a really smart way to do it, so she could make sure she didn't step on any part of the floor she'd just cleaned. After the floor dried, I went to take a look at my newly cleaned house, and I was delighted! First of all, she cleaned as well as I would have myself -- maybe even better! A pet peeve of mine is a lack of thoroughness and thoughtfulness in a service I've paid for, but I had no complaints of Alicia. She cleaned very thoroughly, and on top of that I was really taken by all the little touches: she cleaned out the drain catch in the tub, wiped down my cutting board and placed it neatly on the counter, she folded my bathroom towels prettily, fluffed the sofa pillows, wiped down the window sill in the bathroom, and even folded the toilet paper end into a triangle hotel-style! I am very pleased! I think she may have missed part of a wall in the shower, but I'm so overwhelmingly pleased with every other aspect of her work that I feel bad even mentioning it. Honestly, I didn't even notice it, I was so dazzled by the sparkling cleanliness all around me that my boyfriend had to point it out to me. My house smells so clean! I'm super happy! I'm definitely going to continue working with Lorita and Alicia. Thank you, Alicia, for all your hard work today! I definitely recommend this business. A great value for great service. I'm much happier with Lorita's cleaning service than any other I've tried, and I've tried several of the bigger well-rated services in the area. She's really terrific - I can txt her to schedule visits and she is really really flexible with my weird time constraints on getting my condo cleaned. She's always on time - when she says she'll be there at 10 AM, she'll be there at 10 AM. She does a really great job cleaning, brings her own products, and most importantly -- she takes PayPal for payments (a minor miracle). The meh: Their dusting was just ok - a lot left in the blinds. The ugly: They turned my side table around to clean behind it, and things weren't returned to the state they were in. The drawers were facing the bed so they wouldn't open, the power cord management box was behind the side table vice beside it, lamps were unplugged. Also, we have those "Indows" plexiglass window inserts for sound isolation. They pulled one of them out (to clean the window i guess) and managed to scratch the plexiglass in the process - about a 4-5" gash, and did not put the indow back in. I mean, I thought they didn't do windows anyway? Why wouldn't they ask how it worked or if they should clean the window? I think if I were to have them back I'd have to supervise, or set expectations for them not to touch windows and to return things the way they were.
