She said that the client she had just left refused to pay and then gave an undeniably racist comment about the fact that the person's race had something to do with the fact that they did not pay. She literally repeated the claim after I asked for clarification out of utter shock. As someone with an interracial family, and as a decent human being, I was appalled by the comment. I honestly wanted to kick them out of my house right then and there, but she didn't even understand my outrage because of the language barrier, and her coworker had already started cleaning. But I also wanted them gone as soon as possible. It was so unfair that I was put in this position of having someone making these comments in my own home. It's a good thing my interracial family members were not there at the time, particularly the kids. Imagine your children hearing racist comments like that IN THEIR OWN HOME. I respect the heck out of people who do hard work like this, and I normally tip generously to show that appreciation, but I cannot abide racism from anyone, especially not in my home.
