We were recently here for Wing Night. We have been doing Wing Night for years. This is the first time we have a written a review for the Brewery. To be honest, we were disappointed with the food and service. The first concern was the lack of eating utensils. We needed forks, napkins, and hand wipes. We had to ask for those items. My wife got Buffalo wings and I ordered the Fiery wings. From experience over the years, we have become accustomed to the taste of the sauces, these wings tasted different and not for the better. Our first stop tor a quick beer! We were greeted by a friendly hostess. The bar is separate from the restaurant and they also have a merchandise area. We came back a second time to watch a football game, luckily we got a spot. Carrie and Scotty were the bar tenders/waiters-they were both awesome! I think this place about 10 years ago was probably one of the best - but with the way food is now, it is just so much better now a days that you can tell they haven't changed much. Good service, and the food came out super fast but the flavor was nothing to write home about. Most breweries I've been to usually have great food to accompany the drinks but this place is just your average - large menu, nothing spectacular - type of place. I asked the waiter what I should get! He suggested the brew house burger so I went with that. Comes with jack cheese, green chile and bacon on top with your normal fixings. The meat is definitely subpar. You can tell they get it frozen and just cook it all the way through. My bun was burnt on the bottom so that burnt flavor overwhelmed the actual burger. The meat wasn't any good so it was just your average burger. The fries were undercooked. We shared an appetizer of jalapeño cheese fries which were "beer battered". Don't be fooled. They just put some special seasoning on their normal fries. The cheese sauce comes on the side and was actually probably the best thing we ordered. My husband got the chicken fajita salad - and it was smothered in dressing. Rookie mistake I suppose since it's always safer to ask for the dressing on the side. read more

The Best Burgers! An excellent brewery to hit up after wandering around the national parks all day! Our waitress was super sweet and did a wonderful job. We started out with a Giant Bavarian Pretzel and it was spectacular, especially dipped in beer cheese! My husband had the Tri-Tip Bacon Burger - it came loaded with tri-tip, bacon, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce and an onion ring. I had the Jack Daniel's Burger. I love BBQ sauce on my burgers and this was next level delicious! The burgers really are half pounders, too. I could only eat half of mine and took home the rest. Of course, we each had a glass of beer with our meal. I loved the Dead Horse Amber and my husband enjoyed their seasonal hazy IPA. You can tell this is a local hang out spot there are people with fresh sunburns you can tell have never been here and Vietnam veterans who look like they have been coming here 20 years. This place is a lot bigger on the inside than it seems from the outside. Based on our inability to find a parking spot, we thought there'd be a crazy long wait. However, they got us right in. The service was very good. We started out with the wing appetizer, which was very good. The wings were big, cooked right, and had good flavor. You also get 10 wings with an order, which seems to be a better value than normal. The fish tacos I ordered just lacked flavor for some reason. I did switch out the rice for fries, which were crispy and delicious. Overall, though, the food was underwhelming. I might try the nachos appetizer as my meal next time. read more

For dinner, we got the shrimp fajita salad, veggie chili, and beer can chicken to share. Our daughter got mac n'cheese with veggies (which ended up being just soggy zucchini drowning in butter). The chili wasn't bad, per se, but could have benefited from at least ONE topping. Salad was fine, but the chicken was dry as hell and the sides were gross: limp french fries and elotes corn that tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. The brownie sundae dessert was supermarket fresh! So, overall, the place isn't very charming, the food isn't very good, and the service was despicably bad (not even worth getting into). 2.5 stars, rounding up. read more

Stopped in around 4 for some before dinner drinks and an appetizer, we were immediately seated. We had a few watermelon peach margaritas, they were so good!! We also shared the grilled artichokes. It came with 3 artichoke halves and a lemon garlic aioli to dip. If you've never tried artichokes this way, you simply peel the leaves off and scrape the meat off the bottom of the leaf with your teeth. They were very tasty! Our server was friendly as was the man who brought our drinks out to us. Great spot and we will probably come back for dinner too! read more

If Moab Brewery spent half as much time working on the food as they do advertising every other business in town, the food would at least be mediocre. I've been here twice in a month and am done. I may have reviewed this place already but the review would be the same, five stars. We spent ten days in Moab exploring Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse parks. We were lucky to discover the brewery the second day we were there and I think we ate lunch or dinner there almost every day after that. Johnnie's IPA was our favorite and we usually lunched on some of their appetizers. As a side note, avoid Fiesta Mexicana like the plague. The margaritas are over priced, the food is only average and they will take it upon themselves to add extra onto the credit card tip you leave. When you contact them about it they will ignore you but most banks will make it right. read more

Moab's Brewery is Moab's largest restaurant and only microbrewery. I didn't try their hand-crafted ales, but I liked their root beer. At the entrance there is also a gelato counter if you want something sweet to end your meal. A burger was well deserved after we spent the day at Arches. I ordered the Jack Daniels Burger topped with cheddar cheese and bacon served with beer-b-q sauce with Jack Daniels whiskey. I like my burgers medium rare but they serve their burgers medium. That tells me they don't trust their meat. The burger was ok. It had a lot of sauce, but I liked the bacon. It also came with onion rings, which were my favorite part of the meal. During a recent visit to moab, I came to the brewery all 3 nights for dinner. There is a wide selection of dishes available along with a good selection of beers (but avoid the wine/beer made with a pilsner -ughhhh). There are lots of televisions along with a pool table. We came here around 2 pm on a weekday. It wasn't busy and our server, Leo, was excellent! He was helpful with explaining food portions for appetizers and entrees and refilled our water a LOT. The food is a little pricey, but that seems to be the norm in Moab. We had the pretzel with beer cheese and vegetarian chili for appetizers, then the Moab Monster and Veggie Burger as entrees. A definitely favorite place by locals and tourists alike. Menu offers many of their local microbrews, food menu has many great sounding food options. I got the Tri Tip Bacon Cheeseburger, Moab burger topped with thinly sliced mesquite smoked tri-tip, bacon, cheddar cheese and an onion ring and our Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce. Bun was great, burger was great, cooked to a perfect medium well. 2 big thick yummy strips of bacon. Tri Tip was delicious, tender, juicy, a great topping for a burger, the bbq sauce, cheese, and topped with a crunchy, yummy onion ring, a definitely 5 star burger. This is probably one of the least impressive places that I've eaten while in Utah and I'm sure you can find better places in Moab. In short, my suggestion would be to avoid this place. The atmosphere wasn't great, the service was ok, and the food below average. I ordered a bacon cheese burger which cost something like $16 and it really wasn't very good. The burger was cold, the cheese wasn't melted, the fries didn't really taste of much. I would have had a better experience going to McDonald's next door. We were very hungry so we ate the food, but I wouldn't choose to go back. Maybe they have good beer - I didn't try it so I would not know. read more
