Our favorite flavors include the Alphonso (which has a dairy free version as well), Bourbon Toffee, Biscoff, Gulab Jamun, and more! In all honesty, we haven't had a flavor we didn't love. The place inside is a bit tight with a regular line on the weekends, though you can always order at the kiosk if you want to cut the always long line (though I don't think you get tastings that way!).

Their butterscotch actually reminded me of the ice cream back home: creamy, flavorful, and with that signature butterscotch crunch. I loved it! Unfortunately, over the years I've noticed the quality really decline. The butterscotch flavor now tastes more like the versions I've tried elsewhere in the U.S., almost like vanilla ice cream with a few drops of butterscotch flavoring added. That rich taste and, most importantly, the crunch that made it so good are basically gone. I really hope Nirvanaah brings back the original recipe and quality. It used to be one of the few places where I could get butterscotch ice cream that genuinely tasted like the kind I grew up loving in India.

When it was finally my turn, I wanted to sample a few flavors since it was my first time there, but the employee she seemed so annoyed every time asked to try something. It made me feel uncomfortable just for asking. And for the price you pay, they barely put any ice cream in the cup. It honestly felt like there was almost nothing in it compared to what you're paying. The place also didn't seem very clean. The tables were dirty, and the ice cream itself looked messy. I noticed different flavors mixed into each other. It was just horrible Overall, the customer service was horrible. You can also choose your favorite soft-serve flavors and add toppings to make your treat even more delicious. My son loved his Cookies 'n Cream soft serve topped with Cocoa Pebbles in an Ah-Boong, while I ordered a combination of Cookies 'n Cream and Ube. Both flavors were delicious! I will start by saying that the person helping us, possibly the owner, was the nicest man. He had…read moresuch a wonderful personality, was super kind and helpful, and you could see the passion he has for gelato. He even mentioned making the passionfruit gelato freshly that day. While I truly enjoyed him as a person, I can't say I loved the gelato. I like that they have different-colored spoons for the vegan options so they are clearly distinguishable from the non-vegan options. But, I think it's strange that you can't sample to determine which option you like. You basically have to go all in and hope for the best. I mentioned being on the fence about which flavor to choose because I already have a favorite passionfruit gelato at another shop (see reviews). The maybe owner boasted about winning awards and how it would be much better than my favorite. I loved his confidence, so I decided to go with half lychee and half passionfruit as they are two of my favorite fruits and sorbet flavors. I thought they both were just okay, not as creamy as I expected and too sweet for my taste. I love passionfruit because it's typically sour and refreshing; this one was good, but it was sweeter than I expected it to be, taking away from the fruits' tangy, citrusy sourness. The lychee was even more sweet, and I feel like the floral and slightly tart flavors didn't come through because of that. I didn't finish my small cup, which isn't completely uncommon for me when it comes to sweets that are too sweet. I'm not sure if I would come back to try more flavors because I didn't enjoy what should be my top two flavors and I'm not able to try before I buy.

Not sure how this place has such a high rating???…read more I got a double with Black Sesame Brittle and Blueberry Oreo, and I was especially excited for the black sesame since it's not a flavor you come across often in the area. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. The ice cream had a very icy texture with noticeable ice crystals. The black sesame flavor itself was strong, which I enjoyed, but there were barely any pieces of brittle throughout. The Blueberry Oreo, on the other hand, lacked flavor, and I only got about two small pieces of Oreo in the entire scoop. The double was also $9.50, which felt pretty steep considering how small and skimpy the portion was. I literally finished it in a few minutes. Overall, this was just not worth the price for me. I really wanted to like this place, especially because of the unique flavors, but unfortunately, I left feeling pretty disappointed. Wouldn't come back or recommend it to anyone else.
