I love Miwi's! I must admit, I'm a side window bird, and I've never actually ate inside, but I'm still a huge fan. The coffee is awesome, the tequenos are super yummy, even the simple tostada is perfect. The lady at the window is such a sweetheart too. Miwi café is a great example of a neighborhood restaurant. It's small, cozy, fast, friendly and consistent. The ingredients are always fresh, the lettuce on the sandwiches is always crisp, the food is always made to order and the menu is large enough to make sure everyone in the family is happy. We aren't by any means regulars, but do occasionally have a craving that only Miwi can fill. My personal favorite is the churrasco sandwich with double meat. Have them go light on the sauce if you aren't into a dripping lunch. Also make sure you have a tequeno with your meal. They are the best I have ever had. read more

Been going here just about my whole life, and I am always supremely satisfied with the food here. The sandwiches are always on point, and they also serve dinners with rice, salad, etc. But those aren't ordered as much just because the sandwiches are so good. The bakery items are my go to quick breakfast. They serve different styles of empanadas (Colombian and Cuban) as well as your standard guava/cheese pastelitos in every combination. HOWEVER, you'd do yourself a disservice if you didn't have one of their TEQUEÑOS. As a local, I'm pretty sure these are the best tequeños in town. The breakfast menu is also served all day so that's a plus. All very decent breakfasts at a fantastic value. But the tastiest one is the breakfast sandwich with egg. This has been my go to hole in the wall spot for real cafeteria food. Pan con bistec, churrasco sandwich, all the basic Latin cafeteria stuff. They tend to sometimes be open on holidays too. The negative reviews are people that are expecting prime 112 service out of a cafeteria lol. This little hole in the wall cafeteria has great Breakfast which include cafe con leche and Cuban toast. Their Pan Con Bistec is the best you can find! Their expresso is perfect! They make all their sandwiches in front of you and the place is Super clean! The staff is friendly! The owner is Always there and treats you like family. The downside is that they close by 5pm on weekdays, 3pm on Saturday and they're closed on Sunday. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for Great Cuban sandwiches! read more

Everytime I try to come here to get a cuban meal, they aren't open. Whether it be at 11am on a saturday or 3 pm on a tuesday, its gated up, the hours on the door say they should be open. I came here because I was dying for a Cuban sandwich. I like the ambiance of the place!! A walk up window or small sit down area inside. I had the Churrasco sandwich and it was OK. Not much meat, lots of lettuce and potato sticks (out of a box)? Never seen this before. The taste was pretty bland and the meat a little tough. I was certainly expecting more meat. A proper cuban breakfast in the sh**hole of the hammocks where I grew up. No where else can you get lightning fast breakfast cooked to order in front of you at these prices.
