Cafe bon bon, not pictured is the amazing croqueta preparada! Wow!
Ivana T.

We were driving around looking for a local coffee and we came across this gem! Wow! We didn't just get a little coffee. The cafe bon bon was to Dieeeee for! But the CROQUETA PREPARADA WAS SPECTACULAR! do not sleep on it. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with charming employees who truly treat you like family. You can truly feel the love they have not just for the restaurant and the food they serve, but the attention and humbleness they treat their customers with. It was the best encounter. I can't wait to go back.

Great breakfast! Great service! Great atmosphere and decor. I want to come back to have their Cuban sandwich as they declare it the best in town on their site. And, I watched a server deliver to another table and looked really good. The appetizer platters were huge and also looked super appealing. We came for an authentic Cuban breakfast and they did not disappoint! Best cafe con leche too! I'll be back for sure, for breakfast and hoping to try their cuisine for lunch and dinner, especially their lunch specials!

Tamal, Papa rellena

So this place has some amazing food. No matter what you order it's going to come out great. Ropa vieja? Delicious. Papa rellena? Perfecta! Cuban spaghetti? Delicious. Tamales? Amazing (also the mojo sauce and onions is incredible with tamales I highly recommend it!) the coffee is great the shakes are great. That in itself is worth a trip, but honestly that's just the start. The service is incredible. The owners are so kind and they just care that you feel comfortable. They speak perfect Spanish but (and I know this is a point of contention with a lot of tourists) they also speak fluent English! The last part that's just the cherry on top is how clean the location was, delicious smells of food linger throughout the restaurant, the ceiling is gorgeous, the decor is simple and very pretty. They let you leave messages on certain walls. Overall it's just an amazing vibe! The last thing I have to mention is how incredibly well priced it is. Especially if you go for the specials or any offers they have you will leave VERY full or you will definitely have enough for a second meal. I can't recommend this place enough. Hands down some of the best Cuban food I have had in my life, definitely the best I have had in Miami!

I was coming to another restaurant, but it was closed. So, I discovered Señor Pan Café. This restaurant is amazing, I'll be back here for sure. The food was good and plentiful. The service was awesome and the place is beautifully decorated. They gave an order of complementary Mariquitas with Mojo that was delicious.

Cuban Sandwich Sandwich Cubano

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and twins for lunch. We happened to be in the area whenever I fired up Yelp looking for Cuban food. Senor Pan Cafe came up and was somewhat close by, so we headed on over. Upon getting to the door of the restaurant it was opened for my family by the manager who promptly greeted us. We were then told to pick our own table and we chose one by the window. The inside of the restaurant feels nice with a good looking bar and then decorations and seating throughout the rest. Throughout our meal here everyone was super nice and friendly to us which my family appreciated. For lunch on this day I decided to start off by getting a single bacalao croqueta and also a single chicken empanada. While probably not the easiest for the restaurant, I loved that you could order singles of each. Then for my entree I decided on the ropa vieja and chose potato salad and sweet platains as my sides. My wife ordered the Cuban sandwich and then we got my twins the kids meal of steak and fries. My croqueta came out first and I found it to be very tasty. The outside was super crispy while the inside tasted nicely. After that was finished my empanada came out next. It was clearly baked and I enjoyed the flavorful chicken filling. What I really enjoyed though was dipping it into the sauce that it came with. Once that was gone all of our meals came out. My ropa vieja here ended up being excellent. The meat was super tender while still having a little bite to it and the sauce had great flavor with what I thought was the perfect amount of spice to it. Then my potato salad was surprisingly good and I liked that it included peas and carrots. Last but certainly not least were the plantains which were super sweet and soft making for a nice contrast to the rest of my meal. My wife enjoyed her Cuban sandwich here and my twins clearly enjoyed their steak and fries as all of the steak was gone by the time that we left. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone at this restaurant seemed super nice and the food was really good as well!

First visit, came here for lunch and had the Cuban sandwich & fries. Great Cuban although I was not in love with the bread; fries were hot & crisp. The place has a comfortable atmosphere and friendly service.

You know you're getting old when one of your friends suggest doing a ladies' thing here Being in a shopping center, I wasn't sure how I'd like this place but it turned out to be a nice evening with good friends, yummy food and live music (Thursday nights). The music could have been a bit lower, as it was difficult to hear each other. We were all pleased with our dishes, which varied between fish, chicken, churrasco and vaca frita. For drinks, we had wine. I did try one of their drinks and loved it. Forgot the name but it's basically a mojito, except this one has tequila instead of rum which is what's used in an original mojito. Service was great. Promptly seated upon arrival. The prices?! Amazing! That's probably what I liked the most! Hehehe If in the area, I could totally stop by again... perhaps for breakfast or lunch.

Grey pork chunks, foul smell and disgusting.
Bryant F.

Today is the first time that I have been disappointed with this restaurant. The lechon was disgusting and inedible. Why would you cook and sell old pork? The color was grey and the smell was foul. Your customers deserve better than this.

First and foremost, a shoutout to servers Dario and Osniel, outstanding servers! Been to Señor Pan in Chicago when we lived there and it was phenomenal, visited Señor Pan in Kendall while visiting Miami and we came to find out it's the same owner, Faisal. Miami is loaded with Cuban restaurants, to make it here you gotta be good or people move on to the next place. Señor Pan won't let you down, the food is authentic Cuban Cuisine reasonably priced with a good vibe restaurant. Take my review for its word 5 solid stars, you can't go wrong with this place! Delicioso! Buen Apetito!

There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

It is a great way to try a bunch of items. My friend and I also ordered the ropa vieja and the Cuban sandwich to share. The ropa vieja is life changing - order it, you will not be disappointed. So flavorful and tender! The cuban sandwich was also really good, but a bit cheesier than others I have had. There was a ton of live music happening in both the front and the back of the restaurant. Five of us ordered: 5 Cafecitos 1 Pan con Lechon 3 Pan con Bistec 1 Coladita 1 Timba Came out to $107.45 including a $10 tip. We already had a memorable Cubano sandwich so we explored other options. The Lechon was by far the crowd favorite flavor wise, but it is heavier with the pork fat. The garlic sauce is a must to help cut through the richness. We left supremely happy with the salty and garlicky fat flavors lingering on our tastebuds, rejuvenated by a quick shot of velvety espresso, and capped off with the sweet guava and tangy queso crema shake (La Timba). This location is nestled in a food court style area, with a few restaurants offering sit down table service as well. And when I say offering, the sales tactics are reminiscent of timeshare sales zombies standing in an idle state until you mistakenly stop for a BEAT and then it's game on for them. Luckily at Sanguich, they have a few dedicated seats and tables for themselves and they'll come drop your order for you. A little bit of a scavenger hunt to find it, but well worth the adventure. We ordered a ton, and right off the bat: if you love croquetas and empanadas, order extra. They're on the smaller side and come individually, but they are so good they disappear fast. The beef empanadas were a 10/10 perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chicken empanadas didn't hit the same for me, but the jamón croquetas? Absolutely insane. A must. For appetizers, the prawns al ajillo were delicious super flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was good, but not my favorite. It leaned a bit bland for my taste, even with the sauce. Now, the must-get: the carnitas with pickled onions. Easily one of the best dishes of the night so flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. For entrées, we had the ribeye steak and arroz con pollo, plus sides of tostones and yuca. Everything here delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right not overly salty. The arroz con pollo was phenomenal, the kind of dish you could eat every single day. The tostones were crispy and tossed in garlic, which took the flavor to another level, and the yuca was melt-in-your-mouth good. I also ordered a mojito, which unfortunately was very watered down, I barely got any of that classic mojito flavor. Service overall was solid, especially considering how loud the restaurant gets it was honestly hard to hear each other at the table, so shoutout to our server for keeping everything straight. The appetizers came out quickly, back-to-back, which we loved. The only downside was the wait for the entrées they took quite a while after we finished the apps, even though we ordered everything at once. Overall, amazing food, great energy, and definitely worth going just be prepared for a lively (and loud) atmosphere.

Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor.
