Love this place! Service and food is amazing. Be sure to have the Jerk chicken tacos - those are the best. Drinks are good, too! My only complaint is to turn down the music just a notch! read more

I had a horrible experience at Miti Miti was horrible which is unfortunate given that it was the first time that my friends and I visited this establishment. I was celebrating my best friend's 31st birthday and wanted to try a new tapas place in Brooklyn. From the reviews and glance-over of the menu, this seemed like a solid choice. The food was excellent. The drinks were (weak) but tasty. The ambiance was loud but to be expected for a Friday night. However, my party of 4 was seated next to another party of 4 which quickly spilled over to be a party of 8 - which the restaurant did not address. The neighboring party was leaning over into our space, sitting with their backs and coats against our table (and on our table) and when we tried to address it with said party - things escalated quickly. The cops were called twice and management made no steps in rectifying the situation. Instead, the owner sat at the bar taking shots and at the end of the night still demanded full payment after the horrible experience. We paid but did not tip and I will NEVER return. read more

Love everything about this place. The sangria, the food, the service and the ambiance are all excellent.

Went to Miti Miti for a birthday brunch with a huge group, and it was a great experience all-around. Service was fantastic. Everyone was super attentive, and drinks kept flowing. The food was amazing, and everyone had a good time. Make sure you make a reservation, and they will be very accommodating. Highly recommend. read more

Amazing frozen margs, and enjoy how much they incorporate fresh healthy ingredients in their chayote salad and as bountiful toppings on their tacos. The pick up system is less reliable in terms of timing than delivery, esp during dinner rush time, but other than that, Miti Miti delivers each time! read more

Their salsa and chips are really good so don't bother ordering nachos. I like the lamb empanadas and quesadillas. Sangria tastes super sweet with artificial flavoring. Tacos are meh, fish taco is probably the best. read more

I'm giving this pace 4 stars because the food was good, very filling and appetizing. The atmosphere was good, good music and my friends and I had a great time there. The only reason this place did not get 5 stars is because of the size of the drinks and how much they cost. I got a frozen passion fruit margarita which was really good but the glass it came in was so small for $13. We went during brunch time so they had unlimited mimosas, sangria I think it was, mojitos and margaritas for $30 per person. The other reason why I did not give 5 stars was because our waitress was not so pleasant. She was rushing us to give our orders, whenever we asked for something she would just put it on the edge of the talk while she was walking past. All the other waitresses and waiters were nice and friendly but ours didn't seem like she wanted to be there. read more

Great service. My friend and I benefitted from two bartenders- first Carolyn, then Josephine- both - great food, great drinks, get your butt to Miti-Miti. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in a few weeks ago. We split the Street corn and the jerk chicken tacos with rice beans and platanos. The street corn was average could use some more seasoning. The jerk tacos however were amazing. They were packed with flavor and had a some spice to them which was great and expected. The rice was cooked well and the beans and platanos were decent. The server was attentive. I also had the passion fruit margarita which was good & more on the sweeter side, the guava margarita was strong I enjoyed both. Excited to come back and try something new on the menu! read more

Chris is an amazing manager! He's super inviting and made me and my hubs feel like we want to come back every week! The food was better than I expected and wasn't ordinary read more

My best friend and I have gone to this Brooklyn gem twice on a whim. I love this place down. The dinner menu is seemingly "strange", but if you like trying new foods, I highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates! Everything was good. The fish taco was pretty bleh and unseasoned in comparison to the rest of the food. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly on both visits. Their boozy brunch is good! The brunch menu itself could have more frills and it took me 5 mimosas and a white sangria to get to my happy place, but I'll definitely be back. read more

While I have yet to eat at the restaurant I have come across their Chipotle sauce upstate and am glad that I have now been able to order it online. The Chipotle Table Sauce is simply speaking the best condiment you can put in your fridge: it spice up salads with a subtle mix of smoked chipotle and almost an undertone of Thousand Islands. Your burger changes from just a good burger to a godly symphony of flavors and your beans transform from dull to the most flavorful dish. Each variation brings out a new cascade of flavors you did not even know they existed. Ordering was easy and efficient. A small IT glitch got addressed in the most customer friendly manner - so no complaints! My only concern is that the 3 bottles I ordered will be finished too soon ... Oh well, simply reorder! read more

Service is great and accommodating (as well as being very close to the subway), but the food was not, unfortunately. It pains me to write less than 3 star reviews, but I think this place is better for simple dishes or more traditional Mexican; my own fault for ordering something exotic like the poblano eggs benedict. I was starving from the night before, so figured this would give me the most bang for my buck (I also opted into the boozy brunch which was a mistake; I only had two Bloody Marys and since it was my bachelor party weekend and was likely still intoxicated when I got there Saturday morning, I immediately regretted it...they are pretty tasty though). Back to the meal; sadly the egg was basically hard boiled on top; and didn't ooze out like a standard benedict when I cut into it. It really didn't have any flavor, and I could barely eat it. The guac/chips were good, and my friends liked the fish tacos, at least. The ambiance is cool with the Mexican theme and luchadores, but just not enough for me to warrant a return trip. read more

This place was a nice surprise. The service is absolutely great and the food was good too. I'll come here again.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. I've only been here twice, on a Tuesday and a Friday night. The staff is very cool and attentive. I enjoyed the pork belly taco and a fish taco with 2 strong classic mojitos...(Rough Day!!!). My friends had the coconut wings and bbq chicken taco. They seem to have enjoyed it as well. The music is also good. Did I mention that they have happy hour most days from 11am-11:30pm (Fridays 11am-7pm). Well not saying anyone needs to drink at 11am but hey. read more

I really want to give this place 4 stars, because the food and drinks were good. Our server, Oscar was attentive. I had the shrimp tacos and a nearly perfect classic margarita (made fresh). Nice decor. So, why only 1 star? False advertising! came here on a Sunday. They have a brunch menu. Which was presented to us. Also on our table was an all week taco Tuesday's menu which included Sunday for tacos and certain drinks. We were told that we couldn't order from that menu. Something about they don't offer it on Sundays during brunch. Only after 4. According to the pic I attached there was no time restriction. I dealt with it and ordered the brunch entree, even though I did not want rice and beans. When the bill came, we were charged full brunch price $9 for the drinks . The taco Tuesday price is $6. I called the manager. He explained that those prices do not apply. So. Why are they on the table?! He apologized, but refused to refund the money. I guess he didn't know the consumer affairs rule about advertised prices. After apologizing with fake sincerity and still not crediting, he offered the. Cheap house drink to make up for it. Insulting! No thanks. Not everyone is liquor thirsty like that. I'll just post my review on yelp. read more

Really cute trendy spot! Food was really good but the drinks are ehhh. Not to pricey and located by alot of other spots. Overall happy with my pick read more

First time trying Miti Miti on cinco de mayo when it's only delivery and takeout probably wasn't the best idea but I'd been eager to try based on everything i heard about it. The dropping of stars is simply because of ordering/ops mishaps. The food was pretty good; the side rice, beans, and plantains were delish and my tacos were yummy. I placed the order through their website and they use ChowNow for delivery/takeout. Got to the restaurant and it seems like they weren't enforcing the 6 foot rule whatsoever. Yes every patron inside was wearing a mask (thanks guys) but everyone was so cramped on top of each other it was really bad, worse than the Atlantic Terminal target. Yes the staff was working very hard trying to get everyone's orders, etc but just surprised there was not a worry about the distancing. When my name was called, i was handed the to-go bag and the margarita i ordered was missing. Was waiting around to try and get someone's attention but wasn't working (again, hella busy there i get it) and just with other customers getting impatient and everyone being so close to one another, i decided to leave and just not get the marg i paid for. I will be coming back post-pandemic and hope to post an updated maybe more positive review. Moral of the story, maybe just do delivery!! read more

This place is a crazy! I went with a group and our order got messed up at least 4 times we had an 8 year old that got fed last. She waited at least an hour for food!. We spoke to the manager and he said he would bring drinks out. Little did we know that meant drinks a baby shot glass. We decided to stay anyway but when the check we noticed a lot of mistakes and errors. It not fair to receive crap service and be charged almost a 100 dollars more for the crap service! Do better! read more

Food & service was horrendous. Overpriced "modern Mexican" food that exceeded beyond manhattan spots. I don't mind paying but if you are going to charge make sure your service & food is on par. Granted it was Father's Day, but the restaurant was filled with one turn with no line, but we waited 45 mins for our corn and was told they wouldn't slice portion it in half even with the $6 charge under management's directions. We ordered lobster gauc and it was served with only frozen lobster legs trimmings for $18.50. Table next to us with kids ordered salmon and fries and that took an hr & half to get their plates. Definitely a skip for me. Clearly this place is about the money only. They need to get their act together. read more

My boyfriend and I just enjoyed Sunday brunch here for the first time and we will definitely be back! We had the VIP Brunch for $25 dollars on top of our entree and it was worth it. The food and drinks were amazing and the decor and vibe of the restaurant was great - lots of colors and a Dia de los Muertos vibe. Our sever was Ellie and she was an absolute sweetheart! She made sure we were well taken care of which we appreciated, especially since the restaurant was very busy. Highly recommend coming here to eat or even to enjoy a drink at the bar. read more

I've been here so many times and I'm finally writing a review. Love this place - drink and tacos are amazing. I literally crave it the next day after going. My fave tacos would have to be the pork belly and the poke tacos. Admittedly, I haven't tried their other dishes but who doesn't love tacos! read more

Stopped by here randomly to grab a bite and a drink. I was happily surprised. tacos were delicious. Jalapeno margarita was delicious. Salsa and chips were the best I've had in a while. Service was on point. Good vibe. I will be back soon. read more

We wanted to try this because the menu looked good and the reviews were promising. We came relatively late on a Saturday (around 2100), but there were empty outside tables so could be seated promptly. We inquired about a corner table and were told we could take it. From there the service was lacking. It took longer than expected to be acknowledged, get water, have it explained that we needed to scan a code to see the menu. We both ordered fish taco meals. Just after they arrived we realized we didn't have any cutlery, but the person dropping off the food had already gone. It then took some time to flag the waiter to get cutlery for the rice and beans. The tacos were fine, not fantastic, though the rice and beans were nicely flavorful. The waiter did not check back in with us after dropping off the cutlery though. When the check came, I realized belatedly that it included an automatic 20% gratuity. I can understand that for large parties, but not a couple, and that percentage was in no way warranted. I'd say beware; clearly the staff think the gratuity being guaranteed means there's no need to work for it, and the food doesn't outweigh that factor for me. I would not go back. read more

Went there last night service sucked .The horchata tasted like water but I didn't wanna complain so I just drank it but it was horrible .I should have complained to the manager ..The waitress hardly checked on us.Look I've been in the service industry I get it ,doesn't seem like an easy place to work.. They gave me a fish taco instead of steak and it took me around 30 minutes to get another. On top of that the tacos were good not the best but good .I had pork belly and steak but they were warm and did not seem hot and fresh.. read more

Food is delicious, brunch was a blast! Carolyn, the manager, made sure to take care of us. Highly recommended!

This place is on my corner, and I've given it so many chances to be decent, but it's just so so so so mediocre and over priced. Let's start with their $12 margarita. Hey miti miti, not sure if you've heard, but margaritas have lime juice in them. The crap you're serving with with mix or rose's doesn't pass. I wouldn't pay $6 for this marg. If you want a bunch of eclectic decor, with bad food, this is your place. But elevated Mexican food, it most definitely is not. read more

I should give a one for the waitress being unprofessional and foolish. 1. I called a week prior to ask if they were taking reservations for Brunch. The female who answered answered the phone said no it is 1st come, 1st serve but did not mention brunch was not available. I found out a week later when I showed up with my guests whom went there only for their brunch 2. Before my medical profession I was in the food and beverage industry for 12 years and am quite familiar with rules and regulations. I told them to take out there added $80 tip being we were only a 5 top and that occurs to a 6 top or more. We were going to pay the same tip but I live by principal and we waited long for our drinks 3. Apparently WHEN I WALKED AWAY OFCOURSE my party told me our waitress (the asian with the short black hair) threw in a remark that she can fight me ‍ in response to me respectfully asking prior to adjusting our added on tip I've been going to Miti Miti for years prior to covid as well as I am familiar with other business owners in the same professional in the neighborhood. Employees like that is what makes you lose business and get you bad reviews.. If it wasn't for that unprofessional and cowardly remark expressed to my party when I walked away I would be giving 4 stars. Our main server whom was a gentleman I did not catch his name was attention and very helpful read more

This is a nice place. I had the chicken molé enchiladas. The mole wasn't great (although I'm pretty picky when it comes to molé) but everything else was pretty good. The service and staff are very friendly and the drinks were fantastic! It was my girlfriend's birthday and our waiter was very cool about it. I understand how that could annoy some people in the food service industry, but again, super cool. He brought over a Tres Leches Cake that was to die for! read more
