The mocha we ordered was delicious, adequate in chocolate notes paired with espresso. I want to say that the drinks were the highlight of my experience here. They have a few special menu items, like the unagi pizza - which I found was not the best in terms of taste. I can't pick out exactly what it is, but something on there wasn't to my liking. Either way, interesting menu item to try. To finish off, I ordered some cotton candy for my sister. I was disappointed that they said they ran out of the paper cones/sticks for the cotton candy, so they offered it to me in brown paper bags. Parking is alright as well in the plaza, since there's a lot else within.

Lots of seats, booths all around the sides. Great to work in here to be frank. Here we go: - friend chicken energy bowl: too much rice, very little chicken the size of a small chicken thigh. Good taste but the chicken needs to be larger. - Beef Shakshuka: too much bell pepper, over-cheesy, cannot see the eggs and how it's supposed to be. Slices of onion & peppers made it very difficult to pick up; inconvenient to eat - Bread for the shakshuka: my husband ate the top part, didn't inspect it, and the bottom piece had mould, which was disgusting. He definitely ate some but you wouldn't expect to check your food in detail until it's too late. We called the server and he said sorry and got another piece of bread. No recovery service whatsoever, it was as if they gave us the wrong sauce on the side then changed to the correct one. We paid and left. To me, unfortunate things can happen in the kitchen and restaurant, but without real service, it makes the experience horrible. I would not be coming back here again for sure.

What was ordered: 2 lemon coffees 1 apricot coffee We chose 30% sugar for the lemon coffees and it wasn't enough. The gentleman who made our coffee offered to top up the sugar if we didn't find it was enough. For the apricot coffee he recommended no extra sugar as the apricot is a sweetened purée that that use. With small pieces of apricot mixed into the drink it was very nice. Service was good very but it did take a while for us to get our drinks. We would consider returning if in the area.

First impressions was that it was in a cozy area and was very welcoming. Not only do they have drinks but they also have tea, coffee, mugs, crochet coasters, and other cute goodies that they sell. Me and my sister got the mango matcha latte and the peach matcha latte and we absolutely loved it. My sister's a matcha aficionado and she loved their matcha latte. I would say that the matcha is quite expensive but I could tell that it is high quality which makes up for it. I spent about $24 for 2 of the large sized matcha lattes. Their drinks were quite good and so if I'm ever around the area I'd come back to try more of their drinks! The server was also quite nice.

Arriving at 11 opening time and being the first table seated we were excited to order. We ordered the sweet potato fries to share and found it standard and delicious. Fried well to crispiness and not too salty. But when we tried the Taiwanese meat sandwich and the Mushroom Sandwich and found them lacking in flavour and most importantly cold. I've tried these korean style egg sandwiches before and the main thing is that the bread is and the egg is warm when serving. So it really threw us off that the egg was fridge cold. Cold eggs and stale bread that honestly tasted oily was a disappointment for this spot. We ordered the ice cream sandwich for dessert which WAS enjoyable and the saving grace of the meal. All in all I would come here for the buns and pastries but not an actual meal (the table next to us who ordered pasta dishes also complained the food was cold).

It's also kind of annoying to be forced to pay auto gratuity for a slow and mid level kitchen since it's a party of 6 (large party), 18%. We ordered: - burger steak omurice: the egg was runny like it is supposed to when you crack into it. The burger was medium to medium well but moist and seasoned lightly - curry udon: the curry was flavourful, just a tad salty for me. It carried throughout the whole dish - tako wasabi: the wasabi really packed a punch. I think this is the spiciest I've ever had (not in a bad way, just didn't expect it) - sea salted edamame: lightly salted, the edamame was slightly undercooked in my opinion - Mango Kori: similar to a mango slushy. Just a top-tier escape room experience with some of the highest production value. My group and I did Hong Kong After Dark. It was a 2 hour escape room and about $70 per person. It'll be one of my most memorable experiences just based on how amazing the set looked. The puzzles were complex, engaging, and fit into the story so well. You can tell the people running the place are super passionate about creating the best escape room experience. We did have a slight hiccup where the room didn't reset halfway through. We waltzed through a door and everything was already unlocked and lit up. Staff were on top of it though and immediately came in and fixed it. Everything proceeded smoothly afterwards. I've done other rooms before in both locations, a long time ago though. I remember them all being extremely detailed and fun but this one might be one of my favourites yet.

The entrance of Omventure is somewhat hidden where it faces the back of a big building housing several different businesses (mainly restaurants). A great place for kids, teens, families, as well as young adults, the space houses a variety of escape rooms with different difficulty levels, where there is a suggested number of people needed per room. Depending on the difficulty of the escape room, you are given either 60 min, 90 min, or 120 min to solve or escape the room. You are able to book your escape room ahead of time, which is highly recommended. They do have family and kid friendly escape rooms available as well. Also, the use of phones is not allowed when you play the escape rooms - if you do decide to bring your phone into the escape room and use it, you can cause your time in the escape room to end early (they have security footage throughout the rooms). This location also has an expansive board game area with many large tables and many games as well as a cafe selling bubble tea and snacks. There is also a gaming area with video game consoles as well. My party of 4 stopped by Omventure on a Saturday evening where we had booked the escape room "Kingdom of Cats" (60 min, 3/5 difficulty, best for 3-8 people). Upon entering, you pay at the counter where you can get discounts if you follow them on social media or if it is your birthday. Once ready, your belongings are placed in a single locker and you are asked to watch a video explaining the rules of the escape room. Staff also provide you with a walkie talkie where you can ask for unlimited hints if you are really stuck. Afterwards, staff lead you to your particular escape room. My party and I managed finish the "Kingdom of Cats" escape room in the allotted time, although we had to ask staff twice as we were stuck with what to do next. This particular escape room required us to solve puzzles and riddles while paying attention to our surroundings. There was a bit of crawling as we headed to at least 4 different rooms. It may seem confusing where to begin at first when you are placed in the room but with teamwork and communication, you end up figuring out what to do to move to the next step. This particular escape room isn't scary, but it is kid friendly and fun. The 60 min really flew by just like that as we had to use our brains in order to figure things out. I haven't done a lot of escape rooms but this one was really nicely designed with lots of details throughout. Moving through the different rooms was pretty cool and finding the clues and working as a team together allowed us to escape and finish. After we were finished with the escape room, staff came to get us and took our picture on the stage where we could choose different boards to hold up. Nice touch as a souvenir of the fun time you had while you were there. For an additional fee you can also play as many board games if you'd like, but we decided not to. Overall, a fun escape room adventure for everyone! Would love to try the more difficult and scary ones next time. Staff were great and the facilities were well maintained where the rooms very detailed. Great option to have a fun time with family or friends.
