Christmassaurus drink

This is place is beautiful for the holidays. It really gets you into the festive spirit. The lights and the music. The drinks are all top notch. They are strong enough. The food was ok. The bao buns were yummy. The carbonara was spicy and not creamy. When I usually have it, it is made with cream. It's not that it tasted bad, it was different than any other I have had. We were having such a great time that we closed the place. I prefer this location for the ambiance. I prefer Miracle on Bloomfield for the food. I would still return.

Miracle on Mercer will definitely put you in the holiday spirit. It's a great time to throw on your best holiday sweater and spread some cheer! So much thought and detail went into the decor here. There's lots of holiday nostalgia and tribute to some movie classics. I've visited for brunch and dinner. While I enjoyed both menus, the brunch options were my favorite of the two. Definitely consider visiting around the holidays! Be sure to make a reservation to guarantee a spot. You won't regret it.

So much fun. We went twice during Christmas season and the same bartender took great care of us each time. Wish I'd gotten his name. The menu is eclectic with a bit of everything. We tried the stir fry once and loved it. Drinks are fun--we came back just for cider in fun mugs. Both times we visited we stopped in and found bar seating without a reservation, but wouldn't recommend that plan especially if you are bringing guests.

This was a great way to celebrate the season! There was a lot to pick from on the menu and the staff was super friendly. Loved that literally every corner of this place was decorated for the holidays. Will definitely be doing this again next year!

PROS: very beautiful bar! Dressed up for Christmas, everything was clean, and the staff was friendly. Menu variety was plentiful as well CONS: place is small so it can fill up quickly and struggles to hold large friend groups that come in OVERALL: I highly recommend eating or drinking here because it's a very comfortable setting

This is my first time going to this Miracle Pop Up location. I've been to several of them over the last few years, and I found this one to be the BEST one! From the space in which the tables are situated, (not on top of one another,) to the service, (our waiter was soo nice and even allowed me to switch a drink that I did not like at first,) to the food, (see pics below!) EVERYTHING was excellent! Highly recommend!!

This was my first time at miracle on Mercer, Franklin social. We had a good time, and our bartender was fantastic. My biggest complaint is that we called in November to try to get reservations for December and we were told they do not take reservations for December. At all. When we got to the restaurant (we went Dec 14th), there were many tables available however we were told that they were reserved for people with reservations. If they don't take reservations in December or November, how did people make reservations that made us really angry and we were really close to just leaving. The place is decorated really festive and the drinks are fun and like I said, our bartender was wonderful, I highly recommend sitting in Gabby's section she made it worthwhile.

Christmas is still on! Not sure how long this pop up will remain open but we'll into the second week of January and im still feeling the Christmas spirit thanks to a miracle on Mercer. Upon entering the establishment my nose was greeted to all the Christmas spices (thanks to scented candles). The decor was top notched and well detailed from the Christmas lights hanging on the ceiling to the Christmas tree with ornaments that looks like mini lava lamps, to the wrapping paper lined decorations on the wall. I wish this was an all year round thing. It really makes this place stand out from all the others. I really enjoyed the festive cocktails as well. I got the bad Santa and it reminded me of alcoholic hot chocolate mixed with a bit of spice. I would get that over and over again any time especially when it's cold out. Please bring that back next year too! Santa T. rex was good only after the ice melted a bit and the On Dascher was ok but I personally don't like that type of flavor.

Miracle on Mercer is such a great way to get in the holiday spirit. Love that they have Christmas pop up bars all over the world and this year I went to the Franklin Social location. I had made a reservation for my cousin & I weeks in advanced and I'm so glad that I did because we arrived at the restaurant earlier but couldn't get seated because it was super packed (yes even the bar)! Upon walking in, it's like Christmas threw up all over the restaurant.. literally.. but in a good way of course - it was decorated beautifully and was cozy with Christmas music playing in the background. We had just finished eating lunch a few streets down but came for the drinks. We ordered a side of fries to just snack on but the drinks were so good + strong! We ordered the Christmapolitan and the SanTaRex - the glasses/mugs they came in were so pretty + adorable! My goal is to try all the cocktails on the menu one day. Can't wait to come back!

Mac n cheese

Came here with my cousin. We ordered chicken lollipops, mussels, baked Mac n cheese and I ordered the drink with bourbon (I do not recall the name). The chicken pops were really good, mussels were good, Mac n cheese was okay. The best part of this was the drink!!!! The downer was the fact that you are timed from the time of your reservation. You have 90 minutes to sit, order, eat and drink and there are no exceptions. I can't say I was fond of the timeline. I understand with Covid they need to get people in and out but being rushed when I am out trying to enjoy a meal is not ideal. The place is decorated very nicely with Christmas decor which makes this a cute holiday spot to go to. However, I won't be back unless the time restriction is removed.

A perfect Christmas themed restaurant! I I came from San Francisco to visit my daughter in Brooklyn and I wanted to do as many holiday/festive things as we could. This place was a Christmas dream come true, the themed drinks were delicious and served in adorable cups (they sell them - don't be a Scrooge and steal them) even the bathroom would make Mrs. Claus jealous!

Visited this restaurant because I saw how nicely decorated it was! I'm so glad I came because it was so festive. There were so many nice decorations to see. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. I originally did not make a reservation and she let me know when they had availability. Definitely make a reservation! The drinks were very seasonal and good. My Christmapolitan tasted like candy but was a bit too bitter for my liking. My boyfriend liked his Fruitcake Flip but I didn't like the flavor. It depends on whatever your preference is of course. For dinner I got the burger with fries. The burger was really greasy which I did not like but the flavor was good and I was surprised they gave cajun seasoned fries. Very delicious! My boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich and he really liked it. I tried it and I preferred it over the burger. The bathroom was very clean and I had to take a photo because the "wash or die" sign was so funny. Would for sure go back and make early reservations next season or to the regular Franklin Social to try more foods.

Late review (I forgot I left this in my drafts), but here it is: To start, I want to mention I first stopped by on a Wednesday night (12/4) with a group of friends and they were closed! The website clearly stated that they were open (even until 2am), but the bar was closed and there was no signage on the door explaining the reason. Pretty disappointing. I tried coming back here two weeks later, this time with a Resy reservation. We were promptly seated towards the back, and I noticed that this restaurant is actually quite long and extends into two other rooms. The festive decor here is beautiful - lots of colorful lights and Christmas touches combined with dark, loungey vibes. Food-wise, I shared the Charred Cauliflower Dip and Tempura Long Beans. Both were nicely presented and tasted decent but definitely pricey for appetizers. For drinks, I tried the Bad Santa cocktail (served hot with rum, batavia arrack, black chai tea, date-infused oat milk, vanilla syrup). The moment you bring the cup towards you, there's a very sharp alcohol smell that hits you; it's rather unpleasant when it's so strong and it's like the rum is slowly evaporating into your nose as you drink it. I couldn't taste anything other than the rum in the drink - which would be fine if I were buying a shot but I wasn't. Funny enough, the couple next to us also ordered this cocktail and had the same exact comments. On the other hand, I enjoyed the sips of my boyfriend's Gingerbread Flip. I've been to Miracle Pop-Up bars elsewhere and liked the other cocktails on this Miracle Bar menu, so maybe the Bad Santa is just a pass for me. Overall this is a cute spot; I'd probably come back with friends for drinks but skip the food. Definitely make a reservation if you plan to come, especially on the weekends.

Actually, I'm so glad we stumbled in because their cute and short food menu is PERFECTION for lovers of small bites -- crab dumplings, caviar deviled eggs, spicy tuna crispy rice, shrimp cocktail, oysters, sardines, etc... Things I dream of all in one sexy, cozy place that whisks you far away from the streets of Manhattan. Our chairs were comfy, and there were many seating areas that looked equally as inviting. The bar was gorgeous, lighting was super moody. The room was daaark and not very busy on a Friday around 8-8:30 P.M which we appreciated. While I can't comment on the wine list personally, I know they are well-known for their extensive selection. After placing our order, we were delivered the sesame pizza bianca, which is a complimentary starter bread with dinner. The bread was a nice size and light and airy with a perfect crust and a delicious, crusty sesame seed bottom. The prawns were our starter and came three to a dish. They were sizable, though since they are served with the head and tail, there isn't a ton of meat on them. That said, they were flavorful and juicy with a nice sauce and just the right amount of spice that didn't overwhelm the fish. The snowdance chicken was the star of the show! It was incredibly juicy and tender with perfectly prepared skin, so I was happy to learn they keep this on the menu year-round. It was topped with some spinach that was solid, though nothing special. We also ordered a side of mushrooms which came with a creamy sauce and fish roe intended to be mixed at the table. The roe wasn't fishy at all but added a great element of umami to the flavorful, well-textured mushrooms. Overall, the service was very professional, though I thought the pacing could have been improved as the dishes came out a bit slowly. I would also recommend ordering at least two dishes per person, as the three plates we shared between two people felt like just a touch too little food. I'm already looking forward to going back--I'd try the winter chicories salad or the veal sweetbreads next time, but I'm open to exploring everything since the quality is so high. I noticed a side dish listed on their online menu that wasn't actually offered in person, so it might be worth double-checking if you have your heart set on a specific item.

I made reservations after seeing their special hot chocolate on social media and had a wonderful meal! Started off with the hiramasa which was fresh and went deliciously well with the citrus-y and sweet cara cara orange, as well as the aji peppers! The castelfranco chickory salad was fresh, crunchy, slightly creamy and slightly tangy - basically everything you need in an appetizing salad! Their house sesame bread was fluffy and chewy with a good amount of sesame flavor without having too many seeds. For mains, the farfelle was very interesting and tasty! The pasta was al dente and the sauce was addicting! At first I was wondering if it would resemble a nut butter, but it was creamy with very prominent walnut flavors and interesting texture (perhaps from the blended walnut skin component?). The addition of burrata and other cheeses was perfect for a cheese-lover like me. The pork chop was flavorful, well-seasoned, and juicy. The leek and cabbage mixture soaked up all the sauce and I wish there was more! Their special hot chocolate with an espresso martini marshmallow was fire!!!! Hot chocolate was decadent, not too thick, and not too sweet. The toasted marshmallow melted quickly but definitely had coffee and alcohol flavors. The amount per serving doesn't appear a lot but appropriate considering how rich it is. The mascarpone dessert had a great balance of fluffy cream, extremely crispy phyllo, and crunchy nuts with a touch of chocolate and vanilla! For drinks, I was really curious about the bi lemongrass but they ran out. Staff recommended the semiplume, which felt like a beer, tea, and sparkling wine all at once! Loved the floral aroma and bitter tea notes. My partner's cocktails were also well executed. Staff were nice and friendly. We got seats right by the kitchen so staff often checked in with us, including the chef!! Vibes were intimate with the dim lighting and minimalist decor. Definitely want to come back to check out their chicken and other dishes!!

We came in on a Friday evening and it was pretty quiet inside. After we were sat down upstairs, it took a long time for our waitress to come to take our order. All three had very strong flavors that were not balanced with the rest of the drink. After we finished our drinks, we waited an especially long time for the waitress to come back, check on us, and give us our bill. It was especially frustrating because we were the only ones in the bar at this point and we could hear them chatting downstairs. Overall, both service and the drinks need improvement.
