We got only gluten free pizzas, and they were incredibly good. We got a Combo and a Detroit. Frankly, best GF pizzas ever by our groups consensus. The location is in a strip center in Lenexa. We noted informative signage for pick up, curbside, etc. A couple of us enjoyed a beer and very much enjoyed interacting with the staff while being carded. Seriously, it was great. We all enjoyed the pizza and interactions with Minsky's Pizza staff. Highly recommend!! read more

we ordered the pilly special and what a cluster. first they said they didn't have American cheese which we've ordered multiple times, the bread was so stale it was mostly inedible and they tried charging us full price. the fries were good though. read more

We came in for a late lunch today. We ordered the loaded French Fries for an appetizer, the Wedge Salad, Calzone and Philly Sandwich. It was taking awhile to get our food but then everything was brought out at the same time. So we were unable to enjoy our appetizer and salad because our dinner was there getting cold. I ended up eating my salad and bring home the sandwich. 1) Loaded Fries, the seasoning was salty but the bacon was delicious. 2) Wedge Salad, bacon crispy, the croutons were too hard to eat, A LOT (to much) blue cheese crumbles. Over all tasty. 3) Philly, delicious for the most once I heated it up at home until I found mushroom in it. I can't eat mushrooms and specifically asked if it had them in the sandwich when ordering, I was told no. There was only a couple pieces, that i found. 4) Calzone, yummy 5) The Service, again everything was brought out at the same time, this is a huge pet peeve of mine. My brother was given a drink refill, I not only wasn't given one but was never even asked if I wanted another drink (my glass was empty for awhile). We were done but our server was no where to be found. read more

*CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE REVIEW soooo yummy! I love their red sauce and the crust actually holds up. Minsky's has long been my "go to" for quality pizza -- whether ordering for an office setting or personal -- so love having the Lenexa so convenient. When pizza for a group, I always get smiles when share pizza is from Minsky's. I take for granted when arriving I'll have a pleasant experience with the staff. My stand-by pizza for dining in is either the Prime Cut or Combo. Their weekday luncheon special of salad, pizza and drink is such a great deal for a quick, enjoyable lunch. Highly recommend! There is pizza and then there is Minsky's pizza! read more

We came in at lunchtime. Our server, Sean came over and brought us water and took our order. He was the only server and he did a great job of taking care of us. The restaurant was clean! Our order came out a short time after ordering. We ordered a wedge salad and mini pizzas. It came out as we had ordered it. Our server checked us on us several times to make sure everything was good at our table. He always had a smile on his face. We look forward to returning! read more

I placed a carryout order for Large gourmet Hawaiian pizza Large Philly Cheesesteak 1/2 with cream cheese and green pepper only Cheesy breadsticks 6 drinks Spent just under $70 for everything I picked up my pizza and went to a study group where it was my turn to bring dinner. I had talked up Minsky's pizza and how it's on the pricey side, but soo worth it! I have been going to the Minsky's location for year and this is the first HORRIBLE experience I have had. I really hope this was a big mistake and not that this location has had a change in management or something resulting in this being the new standard. I realize I should have checked my order before leaving, but I have never had any problems with this location and we were in a hurry. I feel like anyone who made these pizzas or even just saw them should've been able to tell they were not right. On both pizzas the dough on bottom was under cooked and did not rise and the crust was dry and tasted like a cardboard biscuit. Hawaiian pizza toppings were in large clumps instead of being spread over all over and the sauce was in large pool's instead of being lightly drizzled all over. 1/2 Cheesesteak/ 1/2 cream cheese cheese green pepper pizza they did not put enough cheese to even cover the green peppers so that 1/2 ended up having over baked and slightly burnt cheese. The breadsticks seemed to be haven been made correctly and probably could've been great, except they were carelessly thrown in the box with the cheese sides together and when we tried to take them apart the all the cheeses and half of dough of one stuck onto the other. read more

We have not been to Minsky's in many years. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was good. I had the chicken sandwich. The chicken was a little over cooked but still good. Plenty of choices on the menu with endless options for pizza. read more

Best local pizzeria in the metro. Great staff, high quality product, and that crust Minsky's is our go-to, in a rotation of quite a few good local pizza places. The food not just the pizza, is consistently good, the service is always great, and orders are always ready when they say so. There's lots of seating inside if you choose to dine in, otherwise take away is a fast and easy option. read more

Minsky's Pizza is a given to consistently have an excellent experience with delicious food and great service. Unique special pizzas add to the fun of selecting which pizza to order in addition to other options. Highly pleased with my pizza and salad! We love Minsky's pizza! Their hamburger pizza really tastes like a cheeseburger! This visit we ordered two of our favorites--the spicy thai pizza with chicken, roasted peanuts and peanut sauce plus the Philly cheesesteak pizza that has plenty of meat plus dabs of cream cheese. We usually order two larges and then have left-overs for a couple lunches. Both their original crust and thin crust are delish! Another great choice we've had is the prime cut pizza...very meaty with pepperoni, hamburger, American and italian sausage...but it is the crispy slices of bacon they top it with that make it another favorite. Minsky's is hasn't sold their soul like some of the other pizza restaurants that now skimp on ingredients to make more money. read more

I usually eat my lunches at Minsky's by my place of employment however, I was out and about on a day off and I went to the nearest Minsky's that was in the area where I was located. I have never seen such a small piece of pizza in my life, not even on the kiddi tray. The food was good because all Minky's is good however, this restaurant was chinchy I will never ever go to this restaurant again, as soon as I picked up the box I knew I was in trouble, felt very lightweight as it only had crumbled up pieces of paper or something in it. Very very tiny slice of pizza. Not very happy at all. I will continue to go to Minsky's because I love it, but I'll never step foot in this one again. read more

Tonight we ordered Minsky's to be delivered. Our pizza showed up looking like they couldn't care less how they deliver their pizzas. The pizza was smashed to one side of the pizza box. When I called to report how our pizza was delivered the manger didn't seem concerned. I asked him if I could get a discount. He did not want to give me a discount or a refund. Customer service is not Minsky's priority. read more

Put in a a order for delivery to our hotel room after a long day of traveling. Person on phone said 45 min-60 min and we actually got it in like 20 min directly to our hotel room. So kudos on that. Pizza did have really good flavor. My oldest daughter summed it up nicely with saying it Similar to a Mr Gatti pizza but larger, with more dough and better tasting crust. I feel like that was pretty accurate so I'm plagiarizing it for my yelp review. We order a medium pepperoni and large cheese. After tip we wound up spending around $35-37. So a tad bit on the expensive side. But it was tasty and hit the spot. And we got fast service so we were more than satisfied. read more

Not all Minsky's are created equal. This is a lesson we learned after going the Minsky's on Pflumm and another location that shall remain nameless. So far we've gone to the Minsky's on Pflumm three times. Once we did take out, the other two times we ate at the bar. All three times we had consistently good service and quality food. Good-sized portions for the cost. FPO and I tend to stick with the appetizers and the calzones. Thus far, the baked cream cheese pesto dip with toasted pita (or you can get breadsticks) is my favorite appetizer. I have several go-to calzones that I like. The spicy Thai and Margherita are my favorites. It's a nice place for a laid back time. read more

Pros: friendly server, they gave us free breadsticks for the kids since our pizza was taking a while and we got to split our pizzas and try one kind of pizza on one half and another kind on the other half for no extra charge. For both our pizzas! So we got to try four kinds of Minsky Pizza the first time we came. We tried the chicken cordon bleu + the liberty bell philly and he combo + prime cut. They were all super good! The bites with cream cheese in them on the Philly were absolutely divine. Not my normal healthy, but if you're going to indulge, indulge! Minsky's did not disappoint. read more

I don't think I've ever had a bad meal or service at this location. I typically get the jumbo wings and the cheeseburger pizza and both are delicious. The wings can be a meal on their own. Pizza and calzone crust weren't very good. Calzones were not totally cooked through. Pizza was greasy. The floors were filthy over by the the bathrooms. Food and trash everywhere. AWESOME FRIENDLY SERVICE AMAZING PIZZA!!! Minskys is hands down the best pizza in kansas city. I'd even go as far as saying in all the Midwest. I had the primecut and Philly cheesesteak with a deep dish crust and omg I'm still thinking about it. The crust was thick golden and crispy yet surprisingly light and airy. Toppings were thick and plentiful and the mozzarella cheese was that prefect stretchy lightly spotted cheese you see when you know the pizza is going to be good. Also service freaking Amazing Rachel E was so sweet and kind and when we showed up at the wrong location because it was my first time ordering everyone involved went way above and beyond to get our order out super fast and also reassurdly let me know I wasn't an idiot (which I was) for calling the wrong location. I really can't recommend this place enough I'll be stopping by before I leave to take one with me for the road back to Stl. Give Rachel E a raise she's awesome! read more
