I really loved this pizza joint! We were going to a jazz show at the theater but wanted a quick bite. The restaurant we planned to try was just too busy so we decided to walk around and just see what we find. We ran across Pizza Shuttle. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the pizza. I appreciated the cool, comfortable vibe too. They seemed to have not only a steady walk in crowd but it seemed they were really busy with deliveries! They were still really nice. Took our order quickly and we didn't have to wait very long for our pizza. They still apologized for the wait. We weren't looking for a big meal so we got the walk in special which was a 10' 1 topping pizza and a drink. We added an extra topping but still only spent less than $14 for both of us including a tip! I particularly liked their crust and they didn't skimp on the cheese and toppings! If you are eating in, you get free refills on your drink. They had a larger size pie and some really yummy sounding combinations I'd like to try when I'm back in the area. I snapped a pic of the menu board. I need to try the cream cheese based on the info I gained from other reviews! It's in an old building but it was clean and had a fun vibe. Some cool murals on the walls (I wish I had gotten a better pic than just my selfie. lol). I enjoyed the pizza so much that I asked how far the delivery area was. The guy working up front said it was a decent size area but they didn't deliver into Kansas. BUT, he said they are opening their Overland Park, KS Pizza Shuttle back up in a new location in OP. The five of us shared a large Super Shuttle and a large cream cheese with pineapple pizza. Both were made to order and came out piping hot. So hot, yet so incredibly delicious! The cream cheese with pineapple was my favorite. It's probably not the most diet-friendly choice, but cream cheese on pizza is surprisingly amazing. Who knew? Oh my God, this place takes me back! I lived in Manhattan for a few years in the 90s. Pizza Shuttle there was open late. That's it. It wasn't good. But it was cheap food for drunk or high people. At this location, the staff is absolutely incredible and the pie is amazing! My wife thought it was incredible. I loved it. Other people that I brought here loved it and we will absolutely be going back again and again. What a treasure! You will pay way more for inferior pie at Minsky's. I stopped by Pizza Shuttle around 1 AM and boy was it packed with drunk people haha. There was a line out the door. The menu offered a variety of different pizzas, or you could customize your own for different combos. They also sell pizza by the slice. The combos are a ridiculously good deal - almost a little sus LOL, like $6 for a 1 topping 10-inch pizza + drink. I ended up ordering a slice of buffalo ranch chicken with a 16 oz. drink. It took around 10 minutes to come out, but it was also pretty busy when I went. The pizza's base was buffalo sauce, which offered a little kick. The slice was quite large, I believe 1/6 of a 14-inch pizza. It was also super filling. The space is a bit small though. We were lucky to grab a couple of seats as people were leaving but overall don't plan on dining in. read more

I'll preface this by saying that I do think there is something to having gone to KU or K-State and being sort of indoctrinated into the Pizza Shuttle community at a young age, but there is nothing in this world like cheap cream cheese and pepperoni pizza if you've been out late and need a pick me up. They could care less about those who come in for take out or to eat there. They will straight up lie to you about how long your pizza is going to take, knowing they are going to bump your order for any new delivery orders. They make no effort to manage the waiting area space. They don't kick out people who are passed out on tables. They don't remove people screaming and trying to start fights. Their online ordering has some limitations and not all menu items, but it is easy to call and place your order. You can also order there and it is ready within 15 minutes! Had a chance to visit the newest location of Pizza Shuttle. This pizza joint has several locations in KS and has crossed over to MO. This was my first time having pizza with cream cheese and I liked it. The pizza has a crispy crust with a soft/chewy middle. The pizza is super cheesy which I like and it's more on the thinner side of crust which I'm a fan of as well. They also have daily specials which can save you a few bucks on your order, and they deliver until midnight. I'm a long time Pizza Shuttle fan (went to the Lawrence location probably about once a week for my final year of college), so as soon as I heard that the Crossroads location was up and running I knew it was a priority visit for me. And overall, it's definitely the same Pizza Shuttle! Maybe slightly less refined execution than the one in LFK, but overall the flavor, crust, quantity and quality of sauce and toppings etc. are all essentially exactly as you expect if you've been to a Pizza Shuttle in the past. My one disappointment to speak of was discovering that the prices are definitely a bit higher at this location (~$8 for the 10" 1-topping with a drink), it's to be expected with the prime location. And if you've never been to a Pizza Shuttle: It's one of the best pizzas you can buy at the price point they sell at. It's cheap, fast, and consistent and personally it's one of my favorite regular pizza joints. Also they have a lot of deals centered around ordering several pizzas for a large group, so a prime post-party option if that's your vibe. Great to finally have them around KC!
