We frequented this place so much that we made 3 stops during our vacation! What a gem of a place to have in the city of Custer! Many times they were busy and they handled the rush so well... we were quite impressed! I enjoy stopping at various coffee shops to try them out and this one has been memorable for me. The flavoring is always on par + so smooth. Their customer service is great and timely. The look of their shop and option of drive-thru a plus! I feel like you can't go wrong with this place + they really are a standout coffee shop. I even purchased a tumbler from them to remember our times out in Custer with. Drinks ordered were an Irish cream latte, huckleberry latte, + English toffee latte. I'd recommend them all! There wasn't one that was a miss... all were great with flavor + not syrupy tasting/ smooth. Although I do have to recommend sipping on a huckleberry latte while hiking around lake sylvan! (; I also ordered an outlaw breakfast sandwich was to die for! So flavorful + tasty! Thanks so much, Miner's Cup!

Don't be deceived by the pics online, the burritos and sandwiches are rather large and filled with deliciousness! The coffee is exceptional as well, I had the sweater weather and the German chocolate flavors were phenomenal! Service isn't the fastest, but it's delivered with a smile and all the small tone charm:) we love waiting for our food and beverages on the meat benches they have at their walk up window. The boba drinks and teas are also great! It was as good as I remembered it being from 3 years ago when I was here last!

The coffee is amazing. The breakfast there is also great. Quick service. Tasty stuff and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Picked this up for breakfast two days in a row on our way into the park. While you can order online, we decided to park and walk up to the ordering window. They took our orders and gave us a buzzer, then after about 15 minutes enjoying the umbrella-shaded patio on the side, we walked back to pick up our coffee and breakfast sandwiches/burritos. The Prospector was on the smaller side, but I was still only able to finish about half of it. It was nicely packed with a good amount of meat and cheese, and a surprisingly large amount of fresh avocado. The server recognized us on our second day back and was witty and friendly with both of us. There is a bit of a wait every day (we were there weekdays), but the patio attached to the side makes the wait bearable.

This is a nice spot to stop for well made espresso drinks and a light breakfast. This is a drive through coffee shop with a walk up window. The menu is huge so there's definitely something for everyone. Service is friendly and quick. I definitely recommend stopping by before heading into Custer Park!

This fantastic lil drive thru makes the best burritos! I swung by mid-morning and had to wait a while since I was fourth in line, but I'll tell ya it was worth it! My meal consisted 16 oz Dirty Chai Latte ($5.50), a Wild West breakfast burrito (sausage, egg, hash brown, caramelized onions, bell peppers, shredded jack cheese on a flour tortilla, $6.00) and a piece of Coffee Cake ($3.50). The burrito was phenomenal! It was huge and generously stuffed with the goods. They used a hash brown patty instead of loose shreds and I absolutely loved it. I didn't even need any hot sauce like I nearly always want on my breakfast burritos. It was SO DAMN GOOD. I'm astonished it was only $6.00. The Dirty Chai was perfectly made! Just the right amount of sweetness and richness. The Coffee Cake was alright. I thought it kind of tasted greasy, however it was super moist which was great. I wish I had the opportunity to stop by here a second time. The menu is enormous and everything sounded so delish! Will drop by again if I'm ever in the area.

My wonderful, wonderful Old Timers with fabulous bacon!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is unbelievable!!!!!!!! We went for breakfast sandwiches, and I am very thankful for Yelp for guiding us to a terrific spot once again!!!! My husband selected the Wild West and I went for the Old timer. It's a drive through which is genius because most people visiting this area are heading towards a national park and are eager to get going. Since we were doing just that we wanted a quick bite. The young lady who took our order was extremely pleasant, and she instructed us to pull forward until the sandwiches were ready. It was 6 degrees out and she brought the food out with a smile!!!!!! We were so happy with the quality and outstanding taste these sandwiches had!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh, what a fabulous start to the day! Thank you Miners Cup!!!!!!!!!!!

Miner's Cup came highly recommended, so my family and I checked it out on the way out of town - we're really glad we did! It felt like a cozy little spot, and despite what seemed like a long line, our service was quick. My pineapple Lotus Energy smoothie with passion fruit popping boba was delicious! They had a lot of good flavor combinations available that day, but I had to stick with one, and the combination I picked payed off. Simple, but refreshing. My brother enjoyed the Sweater Weather special, and my grandmother was happy with her strawberry banana smoothie. Would love to stop by to try more of their offerings if I ever find myself in that part of the country again.

    Delicious vanilla latte.

Not a huge fan of the coffee, only because it wasn't as strong as we like it, but the breakfast sandwiches here are fantastic!

Service was slow and unfriendly. Latte was lacking coffee flavor. It tasted like warm milk. I would not recommend.

A friend recommended this place to me, and she is a pie aficionado…read more I dropped in on a summer weekday afternoon and the line to order pie and ice cream was long. Fortunately it moved fairly quickly. Service was efficient and friendly. The decor is pleasant, kind of a purple Victorian farm house feel. I got a slice of the apple pie and the peanut butter pie to go. The apple pie was awesome! Redolent of cinnamon, the filling was fully cooked, full of soft apple-y goodness. The crust was flaky and sweet and might have have sugar and cinnamon baked in the top crust. Delicious! The peanut butter pie was also great. A soft, light peanut butter filling in a flaky crust. Yummy! The apple pie was the star of the show for me this visit. I can't speak to their ice cream or other offerings. But it looks like they offer lots of savory items as well as coffee drinks. The pie here is truly delicious! My friend did not steer me wrong!

It had plenty of carrots and peas in a thick creamy gravy, snd plenty of big chunks white meat chicken, and side crust not just the little crust on top a lot of places seem to be doing nowadays. It's made here, and it's their specialty. I saw they had strawberry-rhubarb pie and planned on getting a piece. But then noticed their Raspberry-rhubarb-jalapeño and decided I needed to try that. Alas the time for a concert I was going to was fast approaching and I didn't have time for any pie

This is how a restaurant should be. If I'm going to spend the egregious amount of money to eat out…read morein 2026, it should be better than what I can cook at home. Too often do I go out to eat and spend $30+ to eat bland, overprocessed garbage food. This place clearly cares are but their quality. First - the menu items are unique and everything looked delicious. The quality of the food was top notch. The Eggs Benedict was pretty dang close to perfection. I'm a snob when it comes to eggs Benedict and it's soooo nice to find a place that actually does it right. They clearly made their own hollandaise and the eggs were poached perfectly. The service was excellent as well - the waitress was always checking in on me and she was very warm and friendly. Same with all of the other staff I've encountered. Honestly it's a little pricey but youre only going to spend an additional $5-10 per person over the greasy spoon diner down the street and it's wayyyy worth it. The restaurant was also very clean and inviting. I'm so sick of going to restaurants and the menus are dirty, the bathroom is disgusting, and the ambiance is dingy. This place was clean, fresh, and well kept up. Seriously one of the best restaurants I've tried in a while.

Fresh oysters for breakfast...in South Dakota? Yes, please!…read more My wife and I stumbled upon this gem on a recent trip through the Black Hills. A note about the restaurant from their website: Erik and Camillia opened Hjem A.M. in 2022 with one goal in mind: bring amazing breakfast food to the Black Hills. The food's focus is seasonality and is inspired by Scandinavian/American flavors. "Hjem" means home in Danish. Camillia and Erik found their home in Custer and want to be your home in the morning. Everything was divine. We wanted to sample the menu so we ordered "The Bob" (pancakes with lemon cream and lingonberry), Lobster eggs Benedict which they were out of unfortunately so the gave us some oysters as an apology. Their quiche of the day was a Mexican inspired elote style with a flaky crust and delightful crema, topped with some pickled onions. Their hollandaise was likely the best I've ever had. The accompanying potatoes and hash browns were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Ashly ordered a sausage patty that included a few chili flakes to wake up the tastebuds. I'd mentioned Ashly's birthday and they brought out a birthday treat - rice pudding topped with dried apricots and granola. And a candle on the side. We certainly felt at home at this lovely place. It had a charming decor and the service was top notch. Be sure to stop by on your next trip to the Black Hills.
