Mimosa is becoming one of my favorite brunch spots! This is our second time here. I opted for the belgium waffle with fruit and it was by far the most delicious waffle i have had. It was soooo light and airy. Pure perfection. The strawberries and blueberries were fresh. I also highly recommend their classic breakfast and skillets. The sourdough bread is my favorite and their fresh jams. I had some toast with my waffles because i couldn't resist it. Their breakfast potatoes are also so good. Service has always been fast here. Will definitely continue to come here and I highly recommend.
We stopped here to mix it up from our normal breakfast stops. Plenty of parking once you get back there up the hill a bit. We came around 8:30 on a Sunday and had no wait. When we left though, there was a line forming in the front entry. We were seated in a booth directly under a speaker. It was a bit jarring at first because of how loud it was. We were helped by 2 different servers who stopped by often though we weren't ready right away. Then, we had a tough time getting them at the end of the meal but the place was starting to get busier. The prices are a little high but the portions were large. We both got omelettes which were gigantic with plenty of fillings but a bit light on cheese. I liked the Mimosa potatoes but they were a little greasy. The side pancakes were on the smaller side and just okay. I plan on opting for the sourdough toast next time. The drinks were expensive across the board but I understand they make a lot in house (OJ, apple cider). Will probably skip the mimosa next time. This isn't our new favorite but won't avoid it by any means.
I love a good mimosa and they did not disappoint! I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was really good! I'm pretty picky about my hollandaise sauce, but this is approved!! Our server, Jack, was so patient with us, which was very appreciated. It's a nice, bright spot for a great brunch with friends and family!
I met a group at Mimosa and it was such a great experience. The wait staff was patient and pleasant. The mimosas are the best I've ever tasted. I didn't try the orange juice alone but I think that's the key. I also tried the birria skillet special which I highly recommend. The flavors worked together really well and it was delicious. I would definitely come back to try more dishes. The food and service were high quality.
Great fast service and very spacious and bright. This place was hopping on a weekend morning. Despite the crowd we were able to get in on the waitlist and had about a 30 minute wait. Instead Of waiting they also had the option to sit at the bar, first come first serve, and it worked out really well! I've been here before as well and it wasn't as busy. It might be related to the Mother's Day holiday, but really it makes sense why they're busy. They have a great wide selection of food with specific allergy indicators that were very helpful for those who have dietary needs such as gluten free or vegetarian. I tried the amberry pancakes. So good and pretty looking with their toppings!
My coworkers and I decided to stop in for brunch and the food was delicious. We were seated immediately and our waitress was very friendly and nice. Price was very reasonable.
Mimosa has made it into our breakfast rotation for a lot of reasons: *Fast service *Lots of seating *Good versions of the classics plus some interesting things too. I love their "chicken chicken chorizo" which is pulled chicken and chicken chorizo in a creamy sauce. Absolutely delicious. *Their fruit bowl is much nicer than sad, slimy melon Overall, if you dig Mad Rooster you'll like Mimosa.
When your extended family is in town and you want delicious food and great service, where do you go? The answer for my big Filipino American fam: Mimosa!!! Cousin Pro Planner was in charge of figuring out Family Breakfast for 25 people the day after a younger cousin's wedding. Mimosa has accommodated us in the past and they did the same for us this time. The trick is to call way ahead of time. The food was awesome as usual. I had chicken and waffles which hit the spot. My boyfriend opted for Biscuits & Gravy with a couple of over medium eggs. I snuck a bite of the biscuits and gravy- Holy Moly! Next time that's what I'm getting! Service was fast and friendly. They didn't seem overwhelmed with our group. That's amazing because we can get pretty loud and chatty. Lol They were awesome about splitting up the bill. We are grateful for this because it saves us from doing the math for splitting the bill! My family and I will definitely be back for more.
It gets really busy on weekends because they close at 2:30p. However the food is very good. I got the bacon, waffles and potatoes. When it comes to the mimosas you can choose which flavor of juice and champagne you want. The ambiance of the building on the outside and the inside is very beautiful.
Mimosa is one of our favorite breakfast/brunch restaurants in the area. We go at least twice a month. Service is always on point and the food is well seasoned and never disappoints! Our favorite dishes; their yogurt, pancakes, mile high omelette, corned beef hash.
If my review was just based on the food I would rate this place a 5! We had made a birthday reservation for 11 people at 11 am on a Sunday. When we walked in this place was an absolute madhouse. There is nowhere really for people waiting for a table to stand other than the bar area (which was full) and the walkways where all the wait staff are trying to move through. They need to come up with a better system for people who wait like outdoor seating with heaters or something ! They said our table would be set up for us and we waited over 15-20 minutes to actually be seated. In my opinion if I call and make a birthday reservation that table should be ready to go. Once we were sat our waitress got our drinks right away. My Mimosa was great. The bloody Mary's could've used more seasoning. I ordered chicken and waffles which was so good ! Had a fun soy syrup to pour on top. The eggs Benedict was good but my friend said it came out cold. The worst part of this place was our waitress was in the bathroom stall and came out and never washed her hands. She might've been on her phone but then why hide in the stall? Overall you decide what is important to you.... Can you deal with a million people for good food ? The choice is yours :)
I have been here several times and overall really like Mimosa compared to other breakfast places. Their food is fresh, and the staff is nice (the hostess let me borrow an umbrella when it was raining so that I could walk my mother to the car). Their eggs benedict is my favourite and the fact that they have a great choice of foods that are gluten-free and vegan is great for some of my family members who are on eating restrictions. If you are visiting or just in the area you cannot go wrong with checking out Mimosa's. My only two things are that I wish they carried Spinach. For breakfast/brunch place not carry Spinach (who doesn't love omelets with Spinach and Feta cheese?) and the other would be smoked Salmon for their eggs benedict. They have six different types of eggs benedict, but none with smoked salmon. Other than that, this is a great place. Just make sure you call ahead as sometimes they can be really busy. I've been to Mimosa three times now and my experience has always been mediocre. Everyone raves about this place, but apart from the cute decor, it's not that appealing. The three dishes I've tried are the fresh fruit blintzes, the churro French toast, and the Belgian waffle with berries. Though the blintzes were absolutely gorgeous looking, the cream filling mentioned in the menu description tasted more like Greek yogurt than anything. The crepes themselves were nice, but the filling was way too overpowering. The churro French toast was pretty good. The corn flakes added a nice crunch, but it wasn't very cinnamon-y. I expected this dish to be a lot sweeter than it was. Unfortunately, I had to douse the French toast in maple syrup to make it actually taste better. The Belgian waffle was pretty good, but not really worth the price. It was golden brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Nonetheless, I wasn't really impressed with it because it's pretty difficult to mess up a waffle. The last time I visited, the other member in my party ordered the apple cinnamon French toast. She said the apple topping was good, but the smoked pecans were a little too smoked (read: totally burnt). I tried them myself and the nuts tasted like a campfire. The best part of my meal has always been the orange juice. Like they mention in their list of guarantees, the orange juice is always freshly squeezed with no sugar added. If it wasn't so pricey, I'd drink like four glasses of that stuff. Each time I've gone to Mimosa (once on a weekend and twice on weekdays), there has always been a bit of a wait. If you're going to dine here, I would 100% recommend adding your name to the online waitlist. There is plenty of parking outside and lots of seating inside. However, it is really loud in the restaurant. Would I recommend going to Mimosa? Probably not. I'm sure there are plenty of other great brunch places out there. I don't really think this place is worth the hype. read more

Great breakfast restaurant! My husband and I enjoyed omelets with sides of pancakes, fruit, and hash brown potatoes. The syrup for the pancakes is served warm. Good coffee. Pleasant staff. Only one complaint. Some of the booths have no seat cushions. You sit on hard plastic laminate benches. We asked to move, but only one bench had a cushion so we sat side by side in the booth. read more

I've been to Mimosa twice now - once with a large group of girls and once with my boyfriend. Both experiences were just ok...this place is always extremely busy. I knew from my first time here that the wait is always very long for brunch, so we decided to go at 9am on Saturday before the brunch crowd really got going. We showed up and put our name on the list...we were told the wait was 10-15 minutes. We sat down and waited as more and more people rolled in. As we were waiting we noticed that most of the people that came after us were immediately seated or seated before us. We checked the app and our name had been pushed to the bottom. We were a little frustrated then, and went to the hostess to inquire. The hostess did seat us next and blamed it on the system, so that was great but it was annoying to be overlooked. Once we were seated it took a long while to even be acknowledged by a waiter/be given water. They were packed so I can understand some of the slower service but wish we would have been acknowledged at least. Once our waiter finally came we placed our order and the food came out at lightning speed. We got the classic breakfast and the Mediterranean omelet. The food was solid - breakfast potatoes here are a must! My boyfriend really enjoyed the fresh jams and the omelet. Overall food was great, service was ok. I would go back if I was in Brookfield or if others wanted to go, but I do think there are comparable places in the area with better service. read more

Good brunch spot with the ability to make reservations ahead of time online to avoid long waits. The food was really good and I enjoyed the Mimosa potatoes that came with my omelet. The server only took our order and we never saw her again. A different person brought our drinks and we sat for quite a while until someone came to get us to go boxes and the check. The server walked by a few times and even made quick eye contact but never came back. Overall a good venue and will likely be back to try more items. read more

Oh. My. Goodness. Off the charts delicious. And the extra natural cage-free eggs add a whole lot of flavor. Healthier food while adding a whole lot of flavor, even for these chocolate strawberry pancakes with hard to find Guitard chocolate. read more

Excellent food & service ...Delicious Mimosa's as well. Drove 70 miles to try this restaurant after having seen it on a television show called Discover Wisconsin "DW" It was well worth the drive. The owner Apostoli was the perfect host and Sally our server had a big smile on her face when she came to the table. Make sure to include this restaurant the next time you visit Brookfield Wisconsin. read more
I stopped here for a late breakfast before before going to the Majestic movie theater for an early movie because it was close and it was a bookmark. The place is on the top of a hill with plenty of parking that slopes down to the street. The place is nicely done with like a modern country charm and a nice bar as you walk in. This place runs like a well oiled machine with my breakfast experience because you are seated, menued, watered with a carafe. You place your order and it came very fast and any used/done plate is promptly taken away as you are eating. The carafe of water comes with a tin cup filled to the top with ice which is nice. The breakfast menu has plenty of options but when I saw jumbo sausage links I knew that I was getting the double egg classic with the jumbo sauce links that I like so much. My breakfast came fast and looked good with two eggs, fried potatoes, jumbo sausage links and sourdough toast. The sourdough toast was one of the better breads because it was dense with that nice chew, most places offer the crap sourdough so it was very nice to get the real deal sourdough toast. The jumbo sausage links were very good and somewhat lean and not greasy which is why I like them so much. The fried potatoes were also good because the were cooked golden with a nice ratio of crispy vs soft potato. The eggs were cooked perfect sunny side up and when make a toast sandwich with the egg, jumbo sausage link and great sourdough toast it just makes for a great breakfast. WOW I'm impressed with the great service and my great breakfast and a thanks to who ever chose the good bread, jumbo sausage links and the broken French fry style for the fried potatoes for the menu because it made for a great breakfast experience. read more
I made a reservation for 9am on a Sunday morning because I was seeing a late morning movie out that way. Even though there were people already sitting down and eating at that point, the restaurant wasn't packed and there was nobody waiting ahead of me to check in. Seems like a good time to get there because when I left 30 minutes later there was a considerable line. For my breakfast I ordered the Chicken Chicken Chorizo and Eggs with Mimosa potatoes (diced and fried) and pancakes instead of toast. I asked for my eggs to be scrambled with cheddar cheese on top. Even without syrup the pancakes were more on the sweet side than pancakes from elsewhere. They sort of had a spongy consistency when I was eating them, so I would probably get toast instead next time. The eggs were nothing special, even with cheese added. There were two stars of my meal. First, the Mimosa potatoes were great. I don't know if there was anything more than just a simple frying done to them and I didn't specifically taste any sort of seasonings, but I thought enjoyed them. Second, the pulled chicken and chicken chorizo in gravy was out of this world. I would gladly to go back for that anytime. read more
It is indeed busy so a reservation is a must! I have to say the side pancake is Delicious and just the right portion. The portion was huge, looking forward to my left over. One less star because the food was just okay :/ read more
Great place for breakfast. The restaurant is clean and in a very nice area. The food is good and tasty. I love the fact that they use quality products, and you can see that on the menu. Service was also good. I do think the servers at the Franklin location were more attentive. Here, I had to call the waiter a couple of times for a coffee refill. But overall, I was satisfied with the service as well. Would definitely come back. read more

The restaurant itself is very cute and vibey inside. The chandelier lighting is SO CUTE so make sure to look up! I love that they use local farms and businesses for many of their menu items and ingredients. The food was delicious and filling. Very fresh and seasoned well! Of course we couldn't go without getting Mimosa's which we ordered a flight. We all thought they were tasty! I ordered French Toast and the Thick-Cut Applewood Smoked Bacon...it was so good and that's coming from a French toast snob! I would definitely come back when I'm in town. Parking can be a bit crazy and the wait was a bit long but it's worth it! I'd suggest going just a bit later to avoid the wait! read more
went with a party of 8, 4 adults and 4 children and everything was magnificent. From the fresh squeezed juice to the kiddie menu of kiddie pancakes. I had the eggs benedict and tried the pancakes: chocolate strawberry, to the Churro french toast everything was absolutely delicious. I suggest everyone in your party try something different and you share read more

We love Mimosa in Franklin and were super excited for their second location in Brookfield. It was really busy but that is to be expected. You can call ahead and add your name to the waitlist. Front of house staff is always friendly and want to do the best. This place is really large and I didn't feel we waited our full 40 minutes. We had the pulled chicken eggs Benedict which my husband said was very flavorful. It looked delicious! Their potatoes are seasoned well and delicious. The blueberry pancakes are fresh and fluffy! We love this place and can't wait to make it a regular brunch spot! read more

We were having trouble picking drinks so we got mimosas, bloodies, and coffee. All were great! The bacon in the bloodies was so good we ordered more. We ordered the Pollo Picante Omelette and Chicken Souvla Skillet with a side of pancakes. The omelette was delicious. Very tender and creamy, topped with a spicy chicken. The potatoes were wonderfully crispy and flavorful. The skillet was equally delicious. Those yummy potatoes and with pulled chicken, feta, and a yogurt avocado sauce. It was fantastic! There were so many other things I want to try on their menu. Next time I'm definitely getting one of their eggs Benedict's, or the chicken and waffles or the corned beef hash. Service was great. They take a team approach which was very effective. Everyone was helpful and prompt. The staff we could see were all masked and tables were spaced out. Booths have high walls too. I cannot wait to go back. read more

Finally got to check out Mimosa! Dined here on Sunday and it was wonderful! Their staff is taking great precautions during Covid. They have assigned certain staff to do various tasks through your meal service; ie: drink orders, food orders, food runner, etc. I actually felt relaxed for the first time in a while inside of a restaurant during the pandemic. The food was fresh and delicious! You didn't feel waited down after eating either. The potatoes were amazing and the Greek avocado sauce is delish--order a side for your meal! I had the high mile omelet with whole grain bread. Their menu had a great variety for vegetarians as well. I'd love to come back and try one of their burgers as those seem to be a popular order, coming out from the kitchen often. Decor was simple, but cute and created a great brunch vibe. Mimosas are made with fresh orange juice and everything was moderately priced. I definitely will visit again! read more
This place was really great. We did the carry out-make your brunch at home option. We chose the almberry chocolate pancakes and garden omelette. Similar to the green chef options, they give you all the ingredients and instructions. They were very easy to make and absolutely delicious! In the time of COVID we have to get creative with brunch. What better way to still enjoy great restaurant food and still get some Good quality family time in! Beware, you will want to dress up a a chef and show off your skills.. at least I did. Shout out to owner who helped us pick our options and incredibly friendly service! We are going to try all their options as a once a week fun family event. It was enough for two people with just one order of each , so both my husband and I got to enjoy pancakes and the omelette. I posted the pics on our brunch page and below! read more
Food was good! We enjoyed the poached eggs a lot. Berry pancakes were yummy. I'm knocking off a star because of the potatoes. Tasted stale and old. The service was really nice and I didn't want to complain so early in the morning. read more
Come here like twice now and I love it. Brough my sister and fiancé here to try their food. They really enjoy their food. Such a good place to choose when you want brunch with your family and friends. Good service and they make their food fast too. I wasn't too hungry so I got the chicken gravy and biscuits and it was delicious. It's better than sausage gravy haha my sister is picky and she even like this. read more

One word: WOW. First of all, the building looks like I got transported to a cottage somewhere in the mountains, which I loved because it's adorable. There's also plenty of parking in the front and the back (which was a nice plus). So, don't fret when you see a full parking lot in the front. Secondly, since this was our first time, we didn't know you could call in and be placed on a waitlist before you actually arrive. TIP: CALL THEM FIRST. They also take reservations! Last but not least, the food AND the service were exceptional. Having come from San Diego, aka Brunchtown, I had okay expectations for brunch in the Midwest but y'all did not disappoint. I have to say Mimosa was one of the top three brunches I've had so far in my life. The menu was so extensive, I can definitely see myself coming back over and over to try a new dish (skillets, Benedict's, different flavored potatoes, classic egg dishes, oats and yogurts, salads, sandwiches, AND MORE OMELETTES). I got the Pollo Picante omelette with pancakes and my partner got the Mile High omelette with sourdough toast and BOY, the omelettes and the carbs on the side were DELICIOUS and GINORMOUS. For the price, it was so worth it! The Colectivo house blend coffee was also very good, and the waiters were super generous with the coffee refills. Now that I'm happily fed and caffeinated, I can go back and study for my exams next week. I'll definitely be back . read more
