Great spot. Good food. The only down side is that my wife had the skillet and it was dry. Chicken was dry and needed some kind of sauce. I had the Benedict and it was delicious. We'd definitely come back just wouldn't get the skillet. We also had the mimosa pitcher which was good but felt like it was lacking bubbles and balance. I see the potential and they actually have a lot of good food but this was our first experience and we'll be back. I didn't grab pics but will next time. read more

Food is excellent. Fresh and local. Service is always great and food comes out fast and hot. I have never been disappointed with their service. Best pancakes and biscuits and gravy around. I love their beermosa. Highly recommend. Franklin location is just as great. read more

Service was a little slow but it was the day after christmas so it was busy. Food was great and the portion sizes are very large. Overall a great family brunch spot. read more

Had breakfast there. Traditional Eggs Benedict with orange juice and coffee. I appreciated their farm to table philosophy as well as their emphasis on quality foods. So, I was very surprised when the orange juice was very tart...tasting more of frozen than fresh, and the hollandaise sauce was gritty as if from a powder mix and lacked the smoothness and flavor I expected. The ambiance was nice and the staff friendly. read more

First they don't treat people equal. If you are dining alone they literally give u the eyes. The runners brought me a cup of coffee and literally through the cup in the table. They brought me Orange juice with a dirty glass you could see the stains. The fried egg I ordered has a taste of nothing. The strawberries on my french toast tested like onion, I guess they cut them with onion knife. I wouldn't turn and look to this place again let alone dine there. read more

Been here a couple times and the food is always amazing! I got the Sol de mesa skillet and the lemon, feta and bacon potatoes...AMAZING.

Your always skeptical of a sign that say's voted best breakfast. This was hands down the best breakfast in metro Milwaukee. I don't think I had a bad tasting bite in my entire meal. Service was impeccable. Server and bus crew worked like a fine oiled machine. Atmosphere was pleasant and very clean. Truly deserves and earned this reviewers five stars. read more

Recently, for Father's Day, my sister came up with a place we'd never gone before, Mimosa. They had staff members opening and closing doors from the moment you walked in until when your meals were complete. Everybody was assigned a duty. Servers only served. Bussers only bussed, and so on. We made our reservation about 10 days early for the 7:30 a.m. seating, figuring the place would probably be cleanest that early and we'd be able to avoid a lot of people. They are only a breakfast/brunch location which closes at 2:30 p.m. I had the most decadent French toast made with Challah bread wrapped around fruit and a homemade cream. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is freshly made in the restaurant from the sausages and cut bacon. The orange juice was also scratch, hand squeezed. Dad had a heaping plate with an omelette, bacon, sausage and fried potatoes that were seasoned in Mimosas signature style. Forgive me, as my memory isn't what it used to be and I forgot what my sister had. They were quick to pick up the empty dishes and get disinfectant on the table. Excellent place to breakfast and brunch, which we hadn't done in a while. I wish I could give Mimosa 5 stars but it, like many other restaurants, fails to have a space for a "sharps" container and a reasonable clean surface. I have an unusual type of diabetes and, usually, have to dose myself frequently. I'm considerate enough to bring a Ziploc bag so I can take the instruments home and dispose of them properly. Not everyone does this and it should be a requirement in every public eatery. Employees and customers face a dangerous needle in the garbage and could easily be stabbed by one of these. It is also considered a biohazard and germs can easily be transmitted. Thanks for keeping this in mind. read more

While visiting family we had the opportunity to have breakfast here. The food was amazing. They are really busy so we had to call when they opened to get on the wait list. Plus due to how busy they were getting a refill on coffee was challenged. We will return when we are in town the next time. read more

Never made it here before but WOW we should have done so. Good separation and employees using masks. Fantastic coffee (Collectivo of course) Superb service highlighted by Frycka. I had the Jambalaya with the quinoa/rice/lentil base that was delightfully seasoned but dryer than I'm used to in jambalaya. Wendy had Benedict Dolores and loved it. It comes with a whole grain bread (also from Collectivo) that is hearty and delicious. Pancakes are light and fluffy and not overwhelming. Three types of mimosas from basic to deluxe and assorted drinks. We are certainly going again and it may be a favorite brunch spot. read more

Great breakfast. Professional and good service. Food is always fresh and flavorful. We go several times a month for brunch.

I love in Brookfield and I get really excited when I see new restaurants pop up. I saw this in the making every time I drove down Bluemound. I had the pleasure of stopping in for breakfast with my mom and my brother. Fast service, super cute and simple decor. Friendly staff, and very simple yet flavorful fresh food. Honestly what more could you ask for? Great atmosphere for a business meeting or for getting breakfast/lunch with family and friends. read more

First time here and brunch was amazing. Very busy place, plan on waiting unless you can snag bar seating. We ordered eggs benedict with the mimosa potatoes, we upgraded those to the lemon, feta, bacon ones. Also had the ganache crepes with strawberries, blood mary, and oj. Everything was delicious. Our server was incredible, I believe his name was Chris. We will definitely return. read more

Had Sunday breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food is top notch. The potatoes were hand shredded, the crepes with chocolate ganache were amazing. Definitely recommend, though it was about $50 with tip for 2. read more

We ordered take out from here and it was delicious! We got the Breakfast Burger and the French Toast Churro and were very impressed. I like things that are sweet but not too sweet and the french toast really accomplished that. Although we didn't end up eating in we could tell that they are definitely making efforts in light of COVID. If we were to decide to eventually eat inside anywhere soon, it would probably be here. read more

Mimosa is now one of our top brunch places in town! Great food and quick service! The garden skillet and pollo picante omelet were both very tasty, but the side pancakes were the best!! We will definitely be back! read more

Mimosa - Garden Skillet and Pollo Picante Omelette - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Brookfield, Wisconsin

Not the best brunch like they claim. Service was slow. All around I was hoping for a better experience

My family and I were excited to try Mimosa, so we joined the waitlist and headed on over. We arrived, followed the directions on the text message indicating we were there and 3rd in line for our table. However, once inside we were told that we couldn't be seated...AT ALL...because there were too many larger parties in front of us. I reiterated that we were listed as 3rd on the waitlist and there were only 5 of us, but again was told sorry they were just too busy. So disappointed with the custom service and their inability to accommodate a family for breakfast at 9:30 in the morning. read more

I'm not a big brunch person, but this place changed that. The service was amazing, the food was so delicious, and I can't wait to come back. I wish this restaurant was in my home town cause I would come every day!!! read more

I ordered a greek burger and the service was fast and the Ambiance was not that loud but the burger that I ordered wasn't that good as we speak all you could taste in the burger was the feta cheese was so strong that's all you could taste honestly I'd rather go to McDonald's breakfast read more

Put in a reservation for 6, after waiting an hour I was told they overbooked and no longer had a table for us....

we have been here several times and unfortunately the last 2 times the service was poor. The host always seems to be upset. The waiter was very slow to do everything and then the food server was so rushed, he placed the plates on the table at high speed and left immediately. we Usually go during weekdays. I hope they change this or they will loose customers ( us included) there are lot of options for breakfast and brunch. they need to step up read more

Visited this restaurant with family on Sunday, July 3, 2022. It came highly recommended for its exceptional brunch menu. The only thing our group found exceptional was the degree of disappointment. Staff were initially attentive and delivery of our entrees were suspiciously fast. Unfortunately, upon finishing our meals, the server seemed anxious for our departure. Far and away the most irksome part of our experience was the inability to enjoy conversation with one another due to the very loud and incessant din of staff and fellow patrons. The acoustics are a great example of a feedback loop and the noise drove us out the door. There was nothing at all special about the food or drink which made the exorbitant prices exceptionally annoying. We are unlikely to return. read more

They have amazing food and awesome service! Highly recommend! It worked well to check-in online prior to arriving. Great family brunch restaurant. read more

So, this is me and my wife's third visit. Is it really possible for a restaurant to never disappoint? I think Mimosa has come as close as one can. Each time we have been there we find something out of the ordinary to try. Service: top notch and top tech. Warmth, interest in your satisfaction, pride in their products, and an ipad order device and check-out payment. The roaming cashier was very discreet in looking away when I determined the tip. Food: My wife had the Classic eggs benedict. She commented on everything. The tastiness of the English muffin, the flavorful Hollandaise sauce, the perfectly cooked runny yolk eggs, and the deep hue of the egg yolk. The smoked ham was neither too smoky or too salty and full of flavor. I had the Pollo Picante Omelet. A cheese omelet with pulled chicken, a garlic and red pepper sauce, and a Greek yogurt, avocado sauce. I was drawn in by the two sauces. It was superb. The egg portion of the omelet was I'm guessing a three egg portion. The locally sourced organic eggs were very yellow and fluffy. The portions of pulled chicken and sauces was expertly applied. I would have this again. I also had the home made Rye bread. I am a Rye bread lover. It is my go to bread choice every time it is available. I have my children ship me a specific Rye bread from CA because I can't find the likes of it here in WI. Did I like Mimosa's? I took a loaf home in our to-go box. Hat's off to our waitress for arranging that for me. Two notes: last time I was there I was neutral on their "Mimosa potatoes". This time they were quite delicious. I was happy to see so much of a professional approach to Covid-19 concerns. Face masks, booth partitions that weren't ugly plexiglass, and hand sanitizing stations. read more

It was my first time at Mimosa with beloved out of town family on a Wednesday morning. The male host was not welcoming. He sat us in a booth; one side of the bench is padded, while the others are painted wood? I started looking for another table and was basically told to sit back down, that's just the way the benches are. We asked if we could sit at the bar. The host told us "No! Sit next to the widows." (which were drafty and cold) It was a circus. At that point I was this close to leaving. Two guests ordered avocado toast. It was SO bad, I don't know how they could have let it come out of the kitchen looking like that. Go to Goddess and the Baker or the Original Pancake House instead. And believe me I never write reviews. It was not a good experience and I will never go back. read more

Yum! I love brunch and I'm happy when it's not the same old stuff. I had the Jambalaya skillet. It was so delicious and the perfect portion. My friend wanted crepes but ordered the chicken salad. My meal had the option of pancakes. So we split them! Definitely will make it back there!! read more

I just ate the freshest eggs I have ever had in a restaurant. They reminded me of eggs my folks bought from farmers when I was a kid. Big yolks that were more orange than yellow. Pumpkin orange! I asked for them over easy, a tad over cooked for my preference. Next time, and yes there will be a next time, I will ask for them to be runnier. Maybe not over easy. I also had the best Corned Beef Hash I ever had in town. Some cubes were the size of playing dice. They were so tender they broke apart with a fork. Delicious and will order again. Dining companion had Eggs Benedict. Loved it. I had a few bites and agreed. Hollandaise was delicious, ham instead of Canadian Bacon. The eggs, were runny, messy and absofreakinlutely PERFECT. I have need to go back and try their burgers. Another patron was raving about it as I held the door on the way out. Heard they are crazy busy on weekends. Went 1ish on a Wednesday had no issues getting a table. read more

This is my favorite diner in the area. Service is always friendly and good. The food is fresh and great coffee. I frequent it because I always look forward to it. read more

Atmosphere was nice. Food was ok. Ordered Irish Benedict and it was not great. Besides the yolks being almost completely hard boiled, I would have preferred hollandaise vs the tomato sauce that was on it. Never got a refill on my coffee. Then tried to order a side of toast to improve the Benedict, but it came out a minute before we got our check. read more

The food was all pretty dang good, I got a veggie omelette and my mother got a skillet. The ingredients tasted fresh and the food was well seasoned. The prices are a bit steep, and my mom ordered a tea but wasn't given any hot water to keep refilling her cup. These are only minor complaints though, we will be back read more

We weren't able to eat there because when I checked in with this Yelp App and went into the restaurant they didn't have my name on their list. According to the hostess they don't do Yelp waiting list check ins. She said they only put people on the list that call. read more

We were seated well I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, with fruit. I thought the choices should include a salad and not just fries or fruit But that is their choice Sandwich came and was very appealing at first My first bite came up with a big piece of plastic, that looked like it came from packaging for fruit or whatever. I brought it to the wait staff attention She apologized and I told her to take the plastic and check their chicken salad to see if there were more pieces of plastic in it. Normally I can't eat after having an issue like that but I tried my best and ended up eating half a sandwich but took the other half home and I threw it out. Very slow response time to see if everything else is OK And no manager came forward?!?! Really? Eventually the staff member said "we feel bad so we're going to give you your beverages for Free" After a horrible issue with plastic in the sandwich, and it was a fairly good size piece of plastic, our entire meal should've been giving free. I will never return to this place Poor customer service read more

Vibes were there. Food was great. Very cold inside. Didn't have much interaction with the employees. I'd go back!

Food was amazing! Service was excellent. Sadly, mimosas were mediocre. Seemed more orange juice than champagne

Just went there for brunch with my wife and two children to celebrate. To start, the service was slow although to be fair it was busy. The waitress only came by our table once after the food was served. While not rude, the waitress was definitely not friendly either. Our daughter requested a medium burger and it definitely was well done. The three meat omelette was ok but the potatoes were cold and the toast was rockhard. Definitely not the worst experience But for the price we paid was not worth it. I will return to the Honeyberry café in the future. read more

Good food, but terrible service and very disorganized for a Saturday afternoon. Long wait and asked if others food was our multiple times. Clearly a staffing issue. read more

Wonderful does not adequately describe this delightful restaurant. Our second visit to Mimosa, once pre-COVID and now post-COVID shut down. Masks, gloves, social distancing and all guidelines followed completely! Food was amazing, so delicious and hot! The jambalaya skillet was fresh and tasty, The pineapple marmalade was so enjoyable. Wait staff was friendly, courteous and very efficient. Will be back and highly recommend this restaurant! read more

It was ok, definitely not anything to write home about. The food took a while and when we got it my potatoes weren't hot (taste was good though), my toast was charred but also not hot, the eggs were slimy poached and I had asked for them poached medium, specifically saying I didn't want the whites to be slimy. The new way of service was confusing, luckily I had read about the system on their website the night before otherwise I would've been ultra confused as to why we had 5 people taking care of our table. When they dropped off the check it was basically a walk by dropping. Then another person came to collect payment and I asked for it to be separated two ways. He mumbled under his breath (and his mask), that we should've mentioned that before. We didn't even get a chance to mention it. It wasn't even busy and the service wasn't good. read more

My husband and I went to Mimosas two times and tried a variety of brunch and lunch foods. Loved all of them! I had the basic mimosa and it was delicious! And so we decided to host our daughter-in-law's baby shower at their restaurant, in a semi private room. It was outstanding! Had great service from the staff, delicious food, cute atmosphere, clean and Covid conscious service. Met the owner and he was very friendly, personable and accommodating. We fully recommend Mimosa's for everyday dining and for hosting life's special moments! read more
