Noticed it was coming apart while walking through the mall and stopped into her shop on a curious whim, and was pleasantly surprised when she quoted 30 minutes to mend it. After some leisurely shopping during that short wait, we came back to pick it up for a small fee of $15! Bag strap good as new! Appreciate the fast-working, detail-oriented hands of Mari! Asking her for a quote is 100% worth it. She's friendly and helpful, and my favorite local seamstress, hands down!

I have always been treated with care and respect in the many years I have been coming here…read more About a month ago I stopped in with a broken zipper on a very expensive ski jacket with built in avy beacon I did not want to give up. Mari was gone for a week so I went to check other places. Got quoted $80.00 to well over $100.00 to sew in a new zipper. I waited for Mari to return and SO glad I did. She told me she keeps a parts jar and to come back in about 15 minutes for a quote. When I returned she had FIXED the original zipper (no one else gave me this option) and charged me 17 dollars. And so I ask" Why would I ever go anywhere else?" This place has EARNED my continued patronage for life. Highly recommended!

I REALLY REALLY wanted to love this business. As you can see, most of my reviews are positive. I…read morelook for every opportunity to support local, small, family owned businesses. However, when I go to a tailor, and that is their only speciality, I expect that business to provide a certain level of quality and expertise. I don't care if language is a barrier, the workmanship should speak for itself. Bad points: 1. The shop smells like cigarettes. 2. I went there to have a basic denim dress taken in and had to spend time going back multiple times to fix errors that would never have happened with a trained professional with experience. - The waist has overlapping seams. - There is now a pleat over one pocket but not the other. - The tucks on the back end at different points and are not finished, so they will pull and open if I bend over. - The bust area is not smoothly sewn, so it sits weird. So so sad, because I love this dress. 3. Having to keep coming back to fix the issues. Good points: 1. The lady is nice. 2. She didn't cut off any fabric, so I can go somewhere else and have it fixed. 3. She charged me fairly for my trouble. 4. The shop is close to where I live. I won't be back anytime soon. Sorry.

I couldn't be happier with their repair work on both of my luggage items! I will definitely be coming back here in the future the next time I need something mended or repaired!

Timelines were accurate, the final product was exactly as we expected, and it was awesome value for money (for alterations on a suit jacket and a wedding dress) We had both scheduled two fittings and got our final alterations completed roughly 9 days before we tie the knot. I only took pictures for my suit jacket (wearing the complete ensemble minus tie and pocket square), but it's a fantastic example of their work - they modified the back and shoulders, as well as the jacket sleeve length so it's more fitted to my body type (this was already a 38 Short jacket measurement). They close at 6pm on weekdays, and we live in West Seattle, but on a recommendation from a friend, we chose this place after shopping around, and YES, it was totally worth it. On the way to our second fitting, we hit a TON of traffic on the I-90 and ended up being about 20 minutes late to our 5:30pm fitting - they STAYED OPEN until we arrived and made sure we were properly fitted before sending us back on our way. I'm very happy I chose this place, and I'm definitely coming back if I ever need anything critical altered.
