I recently had the pleasure of working with Miller Climate control and I am extremely satisfied with the service they provided. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Firstly, the owner, Chris, who provided the service was incredibly friendly and helpful when I called to schedule an appointment. They were able to accommodate our urgent appt and set up a time that worked best for me. Chris is highly skilled and took the time to thoroughly inspect and diagnose my issue. He explained the problem he found in a clear and concise manner, making sure I understood the necessary repairs. I greatly appreciated their transparency and honesty. Throughout the repair process, Chris worked efficiently and effectively. I was impressed by his attention to detail and the care he took in handling my HVAC system. Not only did Chris fix the initial problem, but they also went above and beyond to ensure my system was running at its optimal level. He provided helpful maintenance tips and answered all of my questions with patience and expertise. I truly felt like he had my best interests in mind. Lastly, the pricing for their services was fair and reasonable. Chris provided a detailed breakdown of the costs upfront, so there were no surprises or hidden fees. Their commitment to transparency and affordability was refreshing. Overall, I cannot recommend Miller Climate control enough. Their professionalism, expertise, and exceptional customer service make them stand out among other HVAC companies. I will definitely be using their services in the future and will confidently refer them to friends and family. read more

On a very hot (triple digit) recent Saturday afternoon my air conditioner stopped working. It didn't take long for the inside temperature to get very uncomfortable. Meanwhile, I was calling HVAC repair companies that I was familiar with. The five that I called were either booked solid or they do not work weekends. Fortunately, one of them suggested I call Miller Climate Control, which I did. Chris Miller, the owner, was covering calls that Saturday. He politely explained to me that he was booked into the evening but if I could wait, he would stop by around 9:00 or 10:00. Over the years I have not had the best experiences with punctuality of contractors, but under the circumstances I agreed to wait for him. Chris arrived at 9:45 - well after dark - but certainly in the time he promised. He immediately got to work and diagnosed that a "capacitor" had failed and that another component was near failure. He had the necessary replacement parts in his truck, and he installed them quickly. He was polite, efficient, and clearly knowledgeable. I appreciated that he explained to me what he was doing as he worked, and that he showed me the failed parts. Based on this experience, I highly recommend Miller Climate Control. read more

Miller Climate Control performed an emergency call at 6:15 pm on Sunday evening as our Air Conditioning unit shut down. Chris Miller inspected the A/C system and determined that the unit shut down due to the condensate float switch being activated. Our condensate drain was badly clogged and Chris cleared the clog using a high pressure tank. Cost to us for this Sunday evening emergency call was $0.00 as we are members of the Miller Climate Control Diamond M Club & no parts were needed. I am sure there are varying circumstances that may require fees for parts etc. , but just knowing he was here on a Sunday evening and we did not have to sleep in a hot house was amazing. Miller Climate Control has provided us quality service for over three years and we highly recommend Chris Miller for all your 24/7 HVAC services, repairs and routine maintenance needs. (512) 956-5040 / millerclimatecontrol.com Miller Climate Control was recommended to us by our past A/C Company (12 years of service) that doesn't work this side of Georgetown w/o a trip charge. When another A/C company can refer with confidence a New A/C company for our needs, that says a lot. Thank you again to Chris & his team for taking care of us. read more

Miller Climate Control (MCC) did work for us 2x times lately. First they helped us swap out a bad control board on furnace. They did a GREAT job working with our DIFFICULT home warranty company. Then, they helped us with A/C units that were failing. They replaced thermostats, upstairs coils, & gave us temporary cooling while we waited the additional 3 months for Lennox to deliver our new outdoor units. They gave us GREAT guidance on what cooling our home needed, and when I selected a unit 1 "grade above" what they recommended they haggled with me about a lower cost system with 2 units being able to do the job. They ultimately agreed that the variable speed units would be the most energy efficient & quiet, despite some extra cost.During the "wait" MCC team was very gracious & communicative. They did a good job with updates from Lennox & the distributor during the LONG pandemic delays. Their installation crews were courteous, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. They actually even RE-positioned the orientation of the units after installing them as I didn't like the way they looked. They were a JOY to do business with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Chris Miller & Miller Climate Control team! read more

Our AC went out at the very beginning of the Austin heat wave. We originally worked with our home warranty program and they initially scheduled another contractor to come do the inspection, but no one came. We tried to get in touch with the contractor for the next two days only to find out he was no longer working with our home warranty. After calling the home warranty company they got me in touch with Chris at Miller Climate Control, and these came out the same day to see what the issue was. Remember, this is during the heat wave so the AC calls were pilling up. On multiple occasions these guys have come after hours to help fix issues or even loan a portable AC unit to keep my house cool while we waited on the home warranty company to order the correct parts. When I decided I had enough of waiting on the home warranty guys to get it right I asked Chris if he could install a new unit and he had it completed the next day. It doesn't matter how good a contractor is, issues can happen. With Miller Climate Control, I know that the installation and repair will be professionally done and if there is an issue, they are going to do everything they can to get it right. read more

Chris and Jason were fantastic. From the moment I called to report a problem with AC system, Chris listened to me explain my situation very attentively, and while I vented my frustration (no pun intended) at my home warranty company and the contract technician they sent. What started as a possible freon leak with icing evaporator coil (per the first technician) turned out to be an electrical problem with one of the air handler heating elements. The problem was quickly and methodically diagnosed by Chris and Jason by working as a team and confirming potential electrical problem with a third technician over the phone. No doubt my older system is running on borrowed time and will be in need of additional maintenance, however it certainly was not leaking or in need of an evaporator coil as first diagnosed. Thanks to the expert troubleshooting and honest service from Miller Climate Control, my house is cool again and I can sleep easy knowing I will not have to spring for a new system any time soon (fingers crossed). These guys are the best! read more

Our AC went out on May 4th and we contacted another company to fix under warranty. We were told parts were in back order until the end of May. End of May came and they said backorder to end of June. Again we waited and then July came with no repair. Tried reaching out and no response. I looked on next door for any recommendations. I saw Chris Miller with Miller AC and he had great comments. Well I called him and he didn't disappoint. In one week not only did he have our backorder past the other company get in his possession, he had it installed the very next day! And 200 cheaper as well! Chris and his team did an outstanding job. Because he knew I had been without ac for over 2 months, he must have felt for me because he went way above and beyond. Or maybe he is just that way so the time! From my experience with him that just might be the case. If you need anything AC related, make sure Miller AC is the 1st place you call. Thanks Chris!!! read more

We returned from a summer vacation to discover that our AC system had gone out. We weren't surprised as the system was 14 years old and we had previously called a couple of companies to get a quote on a replacement unit. We called Miller Climate Control and were relieved that Mr. Miller was able to come by that day and inspect the system, explain what we already suspected and give us options and prices. (The prices he quoted were similar to/slightly lower than our previous quote.) And he was able to replace the system the next day! What a relief to have it done without the headaches we expected. Mr. Miller was professional, skilled and we were totally happy with him and the work performed. We highly recommend him and would use his company ourselves for any other needs we had. read more

As nearly always happens, on the hottest day of the year to date, our AC decided to not blow cool air. Never mind this was the Friday, July 3, before a holiday. Never mind this happened at 8:00 p.m. As soon as I called Chris with Miller Climate Control (interrupting his dinner), he was on it. He was at our house in 30 minutes to check things out. Because of a weird power surge, something caused our system to malfunction, but after turning the system off for those 30 minutes, then back on again, things started to work properly. So, no major repairs needed. Chris was as gracious and kind as could be. I also very much appreciated his wearing a mask when he came inside. I highly recommend Miller Climate Control, particularly their Diamond M program! read more

"The best customer service from a Climate Control company I have ever had in 21 years of getting services on my AC unit. Loved that they showed up with a mask. I had been dealing with my Warranty Company for over three weeks and three different contractors who failed trying to get my AC fixed and finally I got Miller Climate Control and they took care of me right away. They got me scheduled quickly, came out and did a diagnostic on my AC, ordered my compressor, and came out 3 days later to install the part and now my AC works great. Thank you Chris and Cesar for an outstanding job and professional service. I am very appreciative. This company is the best out there, they are very friendly and professional at what they do. Highly recommended to others!!" read more

Chris and his team were exceptional. My AC went out three weeks ago and my warranty company sent two different contractors to "fix" it. Neither one did, and the 2nd company did damage. When it went out again last week and died, Chris was there within an hour and a half of my call, gave us temporary cooling, and managed to deal with a warranty company - not an easy task. My AC was dead, not fixable and we now have a new operational unit. He always answered the phone, was here when he said he would be, his team did a great job and cleaned up, and were courteous. This level of service doesn't exist anymore. It was awesome to deal with professionals who did what they said they would do and MORE. Would always use them and will continue to refer. read more

I came home from work one Thurs. evening in June and the inside temp was 83°. I'm thankful that my house is shaded from the sun most of the day or it would've been worse. I got some recs from friends around 7:30 pm. As I began calling, mo one could come out until Monday. I have an elder parent living with me so that would not work. When I called Miller Climate and spoke with the owner he said he could come out that evening. Needless to say... he's my hero.... because he came out, diagnosed and fixed the issue with a colleague. The house was cool within an hour. Miller Climate was very reasonably priced and the owner was quite personable. I won't hesitate to call them for all my A/C needs. Thanks, Miller Climate!!! read more

I don't usually take the time to write a review about any business, but Miller Climate Control deserves this one. I bought a new A/C unit 6 years ago from another company. I started to have problems with it 2 years ago. I had the A/C company I bought it from come out to try to fix it on several occasions with no positive results. Before looking for someone to come out, I took the time to look on yelp for a New A/C company and saw all the positive reviews. I called Miller and they came out with in a couple of hours. They where able to fix all the different issues and saved me some money to boot. I would highly recommend Miller to anyone looking for a good, honest A/C company in the Georgetown area. read more

Chris was amazing. I called late on a Saturday morning because my AC was running but not cooling to see if there was any way he could come out to see if he could take a look/fix the problem. Without hesitation he said he could come later that day. He called me when he was on his way and when he arrived was able to find and fix the problem quickly and easily! He was really nice and able to explain clearly what the issue was/why it happened and didn't try to push unnecessary things on me. Honestly, for same day, weekend service and fix I think the price was a great value. I will definitely be keeping their name and number not only for future needs but for recommendations as well. read more

We had a great experience with Miller Climate Control. Our A/C had frozen up, and it ended up being the blower motor. Chris was incredibly responsive and honest right from the start. He went above and beyond to help us get everything back up and running as quickly as possible, faster than many of the other companies we called. He clearly communicated the process every step of the way and took the time to explain everything in detail. Both Chris and his team were professional, kind, and respectful of our home. His pricing was also very reasonable. We truly appreciate the excellent service and would definitely recommend Miller Climate Control to anyone needing HVAC work! read more

Chris Miller is truly TERRIFIC! Our A/C quit blowing cold air on Monday just before 5 pm. My husband has serious health problems and a hot house would be a big problem, so I needed someone to come out quickly. I called several companies, but no one could come out to look at our unit.; that is, until I talked to Chris Miller. As luck would have iit, he was working nearby and said he'd be over within an hour. Thirty minutes later he called to tell me he'd be at our house in 7 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and had our A/C blowing wonderful,, cool air in a short period of time. And the cost was so reasonable! I highly recommend his services. read more

I have called them for small concerns with my AC, and they ALWAYS get me in immediately. A/C stopped blowing air in the middle of summer. I initially called Home Depot and they sent 2 techs from ARS Rescue that told me that I had a leak with no diagnosis and quoted me 4k. I called Chris that evening and he stopped by at the end of his day, fully troubleshot my system, and found it was a small part in my external unit. He left and returned THAT NIGHT with the replacement and of course it was a fraction of the cost that ARS quoted me. He's since prepped my system for winter as well, and will be back in the spring. He is my permanent A/C guy, because of his honesty, integrity, and hard work. read more
