My unit has been discontinued so we talked about things to look out for since summer is coming. Never had a bad experience with this company. Very friendly staff. They seem to always want to help you extend the life of your unit and show you how doing little things help your unit run better. Highly recommend this company. Ask for Tony! What's even more frustrating is that today's appointment was canceled the same day, and I was never notified. The only reason I found out was because I called to confirm my appointment. They told me it had been canceled due to emergency calls and that I was being pushed back--even as a maintenance plan member. I completely understand that emergencies happen, but good communication and honoring appointments, especially for loyal members, should still matter. At the very least, customers deserve a phone call or text when an appointment is canceled. Unfortunately, this hasn't been a reliable experience, and I'm seriously reconsidering whether to continue using their services. I ask to cancel my membership and issue a refund for unuse maintenance services that I paid in advance. So far the person on the phone is giving me a run around.

Our system is only a couple years old, so we are still covered under manufacturer's warranty. While parts are covered, we are still on the hook for labor. The previous company we had come out gave us an estimate of $1600. GRANDE CAME IN WITH A QUOTE FOR $4600. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. NO. 1) APPLES TO APPLES comparison for JUST LABOR on the quote was $3200. On top of that, they were charging additional $270 for additional freon. THIS IS NEARLY $2,000 MORE THAN THE OTHER QUOTE WE RECEIVED. 2) Grande tried to tag on all sorts of other things to the already painful bid - they had new things they felt weren't installed correctly (things that weren't mentioned 9 months ago when they were here). They also tried to add on their yearly service thing, which fine if you want to shoot your shot to pitch that, but you're giving sticker shock, bro We paid the $89 service call fee but we will not be back as your labor should not be $2k more than the next guy. This feels egregiously wrong. What a bummer to go from 5 stars to 1 in less than a year.

This past summer, our A/C unit went out when outside temperatures were already in the 90s. Inside the house, we reached temperatures in the high 80s, which, combined with humidity, made for a terrible quality of life. We called around for some quotes, and Grande was one of two. The first reputable company was very professional and gave us several quotes based on what we wanted and could afford. This company primarily installs and services Carrier-branded A/C units. Then we had Grande come out and asked them to price based on the same Carrier A/C unit, even though Grande specializes in Goodman A/C units. Despite the brand specialty difference, they were willing to assist us and quoted according to our request. We appreciated that they went out of their way to check all the details to ensure we were comparing apples to apples. They also quoted us $500 less than the other company, so we decided to go with Grande. One thing that stood out to me was that Grande scoured the Austin area for this Carrier model and grabbed it before any other company bought it. We were told it was the last unit the supplier had in stock! Grande was able to come the next day to install the A/C unit and new vents. We needed to replace our entire HVAC system as our previous system was 15+ years old. They finished everything that same day and made sure to clean up after themselves. The owner, Isael, personally checked the work and explained everything they did. There was an issue during installation when one of the workers accidentally made a hole in the ceiling. Isael assured me that they would take care of it. Sure enough, the following week, another company swung by to address the crack in the ceiling. They were in and out in under four hours. We did have a couple of issues arise post-installation. The first was how loud the new unit was compared to the old one. Isael himself came out to address it, reading the manual and taking the time to troubleshoot it. He patiently explained why the unit was louder (more airflow requires more air intake), though he did his best to adjust the settings on the A/C unit to make it quieter. The second issue was a buzzing sound that started about a month after installation. Isael again came out to troubleshoot and sent one of his service technicians to fix the issue. A capacitator was loose and needed to be replaced. Once that was done, we had no problems with the new HVAC system, and our air is cold! Thank you again, Isael and your team, for all your help and kind service! I had high expectations, and you exceeded them!

He took amazing care of us and installed a new HVAC system with all the bells and whistles available at the time. He basically made a customer for life in 2010. 15 years *later*, Chris and his team did exactly the same thing with our new 2025 HVAC system. Flawless installation in less than a day (and with perfectly mild weather to boot), meticulous cleanup, and fantastic customer service as always. For 3 dudes rooting around in our hallway and attic installing the thing, you'd have thought they were trained by ninjas. Throughout the entire day, Chris, Juan and G didn't disrupt or "get in the way" of my wife and I while we worked from home, and got it all done without a hitch. Chris even updated the pedestal that our outside unit would sit on so now it will remain safe, dry and out of the way of any rainwater. Excellent job, but who are we kidding -it was totally expected.
