It's increasingly costly and scary, when you have to call them because you slept about two hours under 89 degree heat inside, due to your system dying. Well, Shahin, who is a sort of company partner and 15-year professional, will make room in his schedule to show up early and cobble something together, while you decide what to do next. He found an old part and made it work temporarily. Very few servicemen would do such a thing! Our air conditioning went out on a Saturday evening. I called them around. 10:30 Saturday night and had a service person here at 9 am Sunday morning. She was great and problem was fixed quickly. She explained everything thoroughly and waited to make sure the system was beginning to cool properly. This was the only company with a 24 hour phone service that was able to come. Some never replied after leaving a message with the answering service and one scheduled an an emergency appointment for Tuesday--3 days later which is not exactly emergency services. We came home on a Wednesday evening in May, to a house that was hot and very humid. The AC wasn't blowing at all. I reached out to our regular service company, Honest Air, who informed us they couldn't help us till the following week. With outdoor temperatures around 100F, the inside temps ended up in the mid 80s with humidity over 70%. We couldn't wait a week. I called Airsheen whom we had never used before. They immediately got us scheduled for the following morning, and we texted back and forth a couple of times after the phone conversation, to identify the problem. They adviced us to turn the AC unit off, so we wouldn't blow the compressor, very thankful for that. The technician arrived on time, he was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Hey I have a property for rent, so my tenant called me. He said AC doesn't work. It was on Sunday so I call couple company. They said I have to make an appointment so I called Air Shien services. At first, I gave Shaheen the benefit of the doubt but after dealing with him at some of our businesses, either he lacks common sense or is a ripoff artist. Thankfully, I found an honest technician who tells me exactly how the problems can be solved. Three examples in 2018: Example 1: A freezer merchandiser was acting up so we called him. Scamming Shahin quoted around $2k dollars to fix the problem. I call my Honest Technician and he suggested the capacitor might be the issue. $20 later, the problem is solved. BTW, when Shahin sent his guy to work on it, he left the unit in worse condition then before by leaving screws unfastened. Example 2: One of our small stores (under 1500 sq ft), but has two 6 ton AC units -- which is an over kill for a small space. When one of them broke down we called to get a quote. His solution, after multiple visits, was to replace the entire unit quoting around $8k. With my trusted technician, I solved the problem for $400 by extending couple of air ducts to the other side of the store. The working unit works great and cools the place even in the hottest TX summer. Example 3: He does not provide receipts on what he claims to be new parts. Nearly all compressors have 5 year warranty, but if you call him on the very compressor that he ordered, he will not provide a receipt to the owner and will quote another $2k+ to fix a part that is still under warranty. Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion before hiring Shahin. read more

Very unprofessional company. Cancelled on me with zero notice after I made arrangements between the seller and agents. Had my agent drive all the way from San Antonio to be there for the estimate. Now I am left scrambling to find another HVAC company to come out within an hour for a repair estimate which is affecting the purchase of my property. The girl answering the phone is like speaking to a rock. This is not your typical estimate as it's affected a purchase of a home now and should have been made priority if they want the business of repairing 3 HVAC units. Bad business!! You lost several customers based on your scheduling deficiencies. An appointment is an appointment you don't cancel on people because you are busy. Our downstairs AC unit went out two days ago. It had already been serviced last month by another local company. In my desperation, I'd already tried setting up technician visits with multiple local HVAC companies in town, and I understand it is summer time, but the earliest they could get to me was next week. Next week!?!? After some researching, I found AirSheen Services, and I'm so happy I did. I reached out to AirSheen Services on Tuesday morning, 8/22, and spoke with Mr. Shahidi and he assured me that he would schedule me that morning. He conveyed that I was his priority. *How many times have you been left waiting by other company's late arrivals or no-shows? Well, not Mr. Shahidi. I had a wonderful experience with this company a few months ago. I swore I would write a review and I've been lazy about it.. but the Airsheen crew was certainly not lazy. My A/C died after I self-replaced the thermostat unit. I figured I must have done something wrong but I couldn't figure it out. When I looked for a quote, I received a call from Shahin Shahidi within minutes with a quote and a timeframe for a same-day repair. The quote was very reasonable and the technician arrived about 3 hours later. The tech was quick, courteous, clean, and educated me on what I had done wrong and would to do next time. He left ... but then the unit stopped working again! I was very upset and called Mr. Shahidi, demanding that he send his tech back to my house. The tech couldn't come back but I Mr. Shahidi personally came to my house about 2 hours after the call. He quickly identified the problem, which turned out to be a faulty part and I believed him when he said it was not the fault of the first technician. Mr. Shahidi replaced the part (he had one in his van), tested the unit, and again educated me on how to troubleshoot the problem myself next time. He did not charge me for the 2nd visit! I insisted that he let me tip him or give him something else for his time but he refused. He said the quote was the quote, period. He would not ask for more. I was blown away by this customer service. My A/C unit has worked perfectly for the past few months and I couldn't be happier. I hired Mr. Shahidi with Airsheen Services on several occasions. Initially, I called him to maintain and repair the original HVAC systems in my home. Several times, he recommended and replaced minor components such as capacitors. He never pushed for replacement of my aging, builder installed systems, but instead focused on cost effective solutions. Then, when I decided it was finally time to replace and upgrade, he worked closely with me to select and quote a new Trane HVAC dual system. He and his team removed the old systems, installed the new systems, and programmed the thermostats. This included the complete interior and exterior a/c components, heaters, and thermostats. The only components he did not replace were the ventilation duct work. He was always respectful and conscientious, even sweeping up my floors after the work was complete. We got estimates from a number of A/C companies, including the most well-known names. I wasn't completely happy with the evaluation or the price: A couple of representatives did not recognize that our existing system was set up as a heat pump. In fact, one specifically stated that it was not a heat pump until I turned the A/C to "heat" and showed that the compressor ran. A couple of representatives gave their pricing based on a rebate from Austin energy. Problem is, we are not in Austin energy's region, so we are not entitled to the rebate. We did the research beforehand so already knew that, but others might not. I then went out to try a couple more companies and one was AirSheen. At this point I already had some quotes so I took the best one and said I wanted to beat it. By this time we pretty much knew the A/C manufacturer and model we wanted. After evaluating our system, he worked up some quotes and also described in some detail what was involved. He was able to hit the numbers I was looking for, but with the same warranties and guarantees as the other folks. The install was very clean and AirSheen consulted me along the way with any potential issues. For example, I had them replace the thermostat, and he notified me beforehand that the size of the new thermostat would not match the old exactly (was a little smaller) so there would be a small patch of unpainted wall exposed. That was not a problem for me (I had touch-up paint). But just an example, because I know from experience that most would just slap the new on without asking. They also replaced the old concrete compressor pad with one that was a little higher up to help avoid the weeds. I'm thinking others wouldn't have bothered because most customers won't even notice stuff like that. The final touch was when he completed the work order with a detailed description of the work done. I know from experience that many would just say "Replaced A/C". In contrast, it was a two-paragraph description of the work done. All in all, a good experience. I would say just make sure you do the research and get quotes from several companies. We probably spent at least 4 hours of research/analysis, plus several more hours of meeting reps. Also if you are confused about SEERs, you can get your old electric bills and do the calculations to figure out how much you will save on electricity (approx), vs how much more you will pay for a unit with a higher SEER rating. For example, upgrading from a SEER 13 to 16 will reduce A/C power comsumption by 20% (1-13/16 = 20%) read more

During the hottest weekend of the year a rental unit's AC went out. Airsheen was nearby, assessed the problem got cool air over the weekend, then replaced the unit this week. Fast courteous and efficient service was provided by the owner and his crew. The tenant said it best, "They did clean up and even laid down sheets on all the carpet to help keep the floors clean. It's 5 PM on July 3. Your staff have all left or are leaving for the 4th of July holiday. You're entertaining at home that evening and are expected there within the hour. You're on the way out the door yourself, when you learn that your data center's dedicated AC unit is not functioning. Forty servers and a bunch of networking equipment are all about to slow roast. Desperately, you call the company that installed the AC unit, the company that last serviced it, commercial service companies that advertise relentlessly about their Always On availability. And you can't find anyone who can see you within a week. Pretty soon, your LAN/WAN is going to be melting and you can either power down mission critical servers or let them fry themselves. Luckily, a company that no longer does commercial service work refers you to Airsheen. Never heard of them. Oh, well, you're desperate. You call - and miraculously you not only get a call back right away, but Shahin is able to see you within the hour. He comes out, takes a look at your unit, starts it on the path to recovery, sets up your server room emergency fans to keep the room cool, and says he'll be back the next morning to finish. Sure enough, he shows up promptly at 8 AM on a holiday and finishes his work in a half hour. He gives you a bill and it doesn't include overtime or holiday rates! WHAT IS THIS? It is Saturday afternoon and the temp in the house is climbing towards 80. The A/C has been running all day but it is losing the battle. Tomorrow will be hotter and things are not looking good. We called air Sheen services and the guy answered the phone on a Saturday night. I explained the problem and he said he would be there on Sunday morning at 7:30. He offered to come that night but the A/C was working a little and it was able to catch up at night so we would be OK. I received a call at 7:15 from the top of the driveway in the morning and I met him at the outside unit. The freon was low and the coil upstairs had a had a slow leak. We went through the options. Repair this unit, Replace this unit, replace this unit with very high efficiency expensive unit. He listened and answered questions and I weighed the options. In the end, I opted to replace the leaking coil upstairs because the whole system is only 6 years old. Pretty young for an A/C system. Two days later, on the fifth of July, the guys showed up and replaced the coil in the attic. I was not even home for the event. I came home after work and the A/C was and is working great. It even turns off a couple of times during the day. These guys are great. Fair pricing, fast service, and I could not even tell they were at the house, except for the cold air coming out of the vents. Two days later, I get the bill and it's a little less than what we agreed to. A great experience. I would use them again in a heartbeat. I have them do my Work office A/C too. I would and do recommend and trust them 100%. read more
