I've been talking with Nick and Evenaire for more than a year. I interviewed several companies when the pandemic first started but ultimately felt most comfortable with Evenaire. First they came out and adjusted some duct work so I could get the most out of my almost 20 year old system. Then, when my unit finally gave up, they came out and put in a brand new system. I was very impressed with how clean, quiet, and professional the install was. Quite an improvement over the builders work from long ago! Hopefully I don't need them again for a while, but I feel good that they'll have my back if I do! read more

I was able to make an appointment quickly, even in the heat. The repairman was prompt, friendly and reasonable, all things considered. They were able to give us a quote for a new system. Very happy, would highly recommend them! read more

We have an older system that needed an upgrade as it was probably on its last leg. We had tried a couple of companies that were not able to help us because of the limited space were the unit was located in the attic. My wife reached to out to Evenaire and Jennifer reassured her that they could find a solution. Nick came out and evaluated the unit and was able to provide a unit that would fit our needs. It was definitely a challenge given the limited space, the tech team that came out were really determined to get the job done. They were both great and did a great job. I can't say enough about Evenaire and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC and looking to be treated like family. Thanks again, Paty & Lawrence read more

These guys are awesome, we've been using them for years. In the middle of the latest Texas heatwave, we had our downstairs unit stop working (it was quite old and we knew we'd need to replace it soon). Evenaire was able to get it back up and running until the replacement unit was ready for installation 2 days later. They are always upfront and reliable, never had any surprises and have always been satisfied with their work and demeanor. read more

Last week my home downstairs HVAC system cratered and began the search process for replacement. Of the four companies contacted (three came on-site and one was over 1.5 hours late for their 2 hour appointment window) one clearly stood out with respect to equipment quality, value/ROI, transparency, knowledge, punctuality and overall competence: Evenaire ex-Pflugerville. They are locally owned and managed. Nick walked me through the process, was informative without the hard sell and supplied written replacement options within 20 minutes. Installation was top-notch (received quotes on a Thursday/system on-line the following Tuesday), financing was expedient/excellent terms and his two-man team were conscientious with respect to my home inside and out, e.g. drop cloths, no damage, removed all traces of the old system (even swept the floors) and were in and out within 4 hours. Two words sums them up: Consummate Professionals. read more

So, I sent several calls and messages on Facebook fir recommendations near me. I really didn't expect many to reply so late. Jennifer was the first to send me a message. I asked for the soonest appointment tomorrow and she began to ask me questions about what was wrong. Jennifer the told me if she can help me over the phone vs charging me to come out, she'll give it a shot. Along with Nick by her side, they helped me diagnose the problem, fix it myself, and not ask for a penny. There is a reason why this company has a perfect Yelp score. I'll be adding reviews myself tomorrow. I had an extremely crappy day today. Jennifer and Nick helped me end it on a high note. Customer service was top notch. I know who to call next time! read more

Evenaire recently completed a system replacement in my home and it was a great experience. Communication was excellent from start to finish. They were able to accommodate my preferred times for an initial bid and to schedule the work. All my calls or emails were answered within 24 hours and they even sent a reminder email a few days before the work was scheduled. Service was great. During the initial bid appointment, Nick answered all my questions and was clearly super knowledgeable. He was onsite before and after the install appointment to make sure all I was happy with the work and even gave some great maintenance tips. The install was completed quickly and within the estimated time frame. The technicians were mindful to protect my floors as they worked and cleaned up after themselves. They even re- installed the baby gate that had to be removed to get the units up and down the stairs. A new HVAC system is a large investment, so we had bids from 3 companies. Evenaire provided they best value. If you're looking to replace or repair your HVAC, I highly recommend you give them an opportunity to earn your business! read more

This is my SECOND review for Evenaire Heating & Air Conditioning. It's never a good time for an AC or Heating outage, but working with Evenaire during these "bad times" is as good as it gets. This morning I woke up to a 60 degree home. I immediately called these guys as they'd repaired my AC unit before and had been great. I left a message and was called back almost right away. Jennifer was amazing in scheduling my appointment and working around my existing meetings to send out a technician. Nick came out to my house, and he'd diagnosed the issue within less than 5 minutes. This might be a record. My unit is super old - like 20 years old. He easily could have told me I needed a whole new unit, and I would have believed him - ITS OLD, and that time is coming! However, he didn't - the repair was a simple hose that had a hole worn in it, and pressure wasn't able to build. $75 later, I'm back in business. I TRUST THIS TEAM, which is hard to say about a lot of businesses. THANK YOU for earning my business time and time again! I'm a customer for life! read more

Buying an AC replacement system can be a scary proposition, not with EvenAire. Nick and the EvenAire team made it simple and I highly recommend them. Great price, amazing employees and no company stacks up. They were professional, and we could not be happier. Thanks EvenAire!! read more

On a Saturday afternoon our AC unit stopped blowing cold air, seemingly out of nowhere in the hot Texas weather. We received recommendations on a few different companies, but Evenaire stood out above the rest with the high praise and fair pricing. We reached out and were scheduled for the same day. Within a few hours, Nick showed up and quickly identified and resolved the issue. Even with weekend after hours pricing, the cost was extremely reasonable and we were back to a cool house in just a few hours. For any other AC issues in the future, we will only go with Evenaire for their quick response, fair pricing, and quality work! read more

We called Evenair about a bad smell coming from our a/c and were told we needed a $1,400 filtration system, which we foolishy paid for. My daughter and I are severe asthmatics and had to stay at a hotel for several days as the work was being done. As soon as we returned home I noticed the smell was not gone and called them to come back out. Danny the owner insisted he didn't smell anything and suggested I had sprayed "perfume" and this was what I was reacting to. We asked him if they ever checked the registers where we noticed mold growing and were told "we don't do that". My daughter and I headed back to the hotel while they waited a week to replace two ducts ($400 more dollars) which we were told would fix the problem. Came back home to the same musty odor. Called another company and they immediately checked all the registers and the coil which was covered in mold and debris (see photo). All the while we were spoken down to by Danny and his staff. The other company was perplexed how these things were never checked as a possible source of the odor as it is quite common. Nor did Evenaire tell us to remove the indoor filter which was causing water to accumulate in the drip pan. Nor did they seal the new registers to the ceiling so we would've been in the same boat with mildew over time. And that super duper filtration system? See the second photo of what we vacuumed from my ASTHMATIC daughter's room after only three days! Turns out there were still holes in other ductwork which Evenair also failed to recognize. If I had any money left I'd take them to small claims to get my money back and all of the hotel and medical bills. Absolutely unacceptable!! read more

Our AC stopped blowing cold air in the middle of the hot summer. Called Evenaire and Jennifer was able to arrange a same day appointment for us. Nick came and diagnosed. It tuned out that our AC has many problems. Nick and Jennifer helped us to compare the cost to repair vs. replace. Both of them were professional and reliable. We decided to replace our AC system. The whole process was smooth. Jennifer was always there to support us. Great services! read more

My wife and I have had a great experience with Evenaire. We have used Evenaire for a couple years to take care of preventative maintenance on our system. We decided to replace our 20 year old unit this winter so we wouldn't run the risk of being without AC this summer. They have been nothing but amazing and exceeded our expectations at every turn. Some of the good: - Prompt and efficient.I have never waited on hold on the phone, service calls are fast, and even getting the new system from first contact to finish took less than a week. - Price & Value. Evenaire was near the best price point for our new unit out of the numerous bids we got, and certainly offering the best value by leaps and bounds for the unit and follow-up maintenance. -Professionalism. Always right on the money with customer service, both with the technicians and the office staff. Courteous when in my house, and always polite and down to earth. -Local. I love to support local businesses when I can. These guys are about as local as I can get. + about 100 other things. read more

Not sure where to start. Everyone knows how critical a good AC is in central Texas for about 360 days out of the year. I've been having home AC problems since about mid-June. Called an AC company out to fix the issue. They did fix the original problem and told me that I would have future issues as my equipment was failing. They told me the equipment could last out the summer, or it could go out the next day. I still had periodic issues, and after another failure on a very hot July Saturday, I decided to try another company. I found the high reviews on Yelp for Evenaire and gave them a call. Here is the first amazing thing. Our AC failed early on a hot (any other kind) July Saturday evening. I called Evenaire, expecting to leave a message. To my surprise, the phone was answered on the 1st or 2nd ring, and I talked to a human being (Stephanie). I told her the problem, and she said that she would try to have the guys out there that night. I was stunned that I could possibly get service that night. She called back at about 9:00 PM or so and said their previous service call had run late, and would I mind if they showed up tomorrow (Sunday) instead. Of course I didn't mind. The mere fact that they were willing to come out VERY late on a Saturday night was beyond my comprehension. They arrived before 9:00 AM the next day (Sunday) morning. To my previous AC guys credit, they echoed everything that he said, so at least I wasn't conned. Since they couldn't do anything, they did not charge me for the service visit. Long story short, I had to get a new AC. Evenaire has a deal with Wells Fargo for financing if necessary. Thanks to that, we got a little higher model than we could have afforded without it. Great investment. We were still having problems with some rooms in the house not cooling properly. This was an issue that predated the new AC. We just kind of hoped a new AC would fix that. Sadly it didn't. Evenaire came out again to give an estimate on what it would take. When the house was built, the builders used the wrong sized duct work for the bedrooms. Danny and his crew came out again, installed the appropriate sized duct works in the bedrooms, now the whole house is nice and as cool as we want it to be. This is what I loved about working with Evenaire: 1) great customer service. When they say they will be there by X time on X date, they mean it 2) great integrity - There was a minor mistake on my final bill. I was an honest mistake and when I pointed it out they were very sorry for the mixup and corrected it right away. 3) great work - they say it will take X, Y and Z to complete the job and it will be done by X time. They get everything done they say that will, by (in my case well before) the time they said they were going to complete it. 4) Financing options - VERY easy to get, and very fast. We applied for the financing on a Sunday night, it was approved Monday, and by the next day, Tuesday, they were installing our new high capacity AC. I highly recommend Evenaire for all of your heating and cooling needs. read more

Where to begin... First of all, not $1 has gone out of my pocket to Evenaire thus far, and they have a new biggest fan. We have been without working AC units for the last 4 days. After being given the runaround from other companies, the owners of Evenaire were honest up front, and let us know they can't make it out until Monday morning. After realizing we have two beautiful little girls in the house, they spent over an hour on the phone with me this afternoon, helping me diagnose the problem, so we can be up and running ASAP on Monday morning. We figured out that the control board on our 2.5 year old system has failed. It is under warranty, and they have already ordered it. I'm sure the warranty covers most of the cost of all of this, but we will take care of them as well. Talk about a breath of fresh air! All of my clients and I have a new "go to" HVAC company. Thank you again, Jennifer and Nick! read more

I've used other A/C companies in the area and thought I was getting quality work done but Evenaire showed me differently. They were the 5th company we called on a Sunday evening because our pipe froze over and the motor wouldn't spin after we dethawed it. No one would agree to come out that evening and it was a sweltering 90 degrees in our house. Evenaire came out within the hour (when no other company did). After quickly diagnosing the motor, we had a new capacitor and cool air. They also caught something that no other previous companies found. Our unit had an internal filter that was reusable and washable. We never knew this and so had another filter near the air intake vent. The internal filter was disgustingly dirty! If it was supposed to be blue, it was a mottled grey. Honestly it looked like it hadn't been touched since the install of the unit. Apparently this is something that should be checked during the yearly maintenance checks. For the past 2 years, we've had A+ heating and cooling and Austin Air Dynamics do this maintenance work. Not once did anyone EVER check this, or tell us that we were over working our system by using 2 filters. Lastly, apparently during these maintenance checks, you are supposed to have your outside unit cleaned thoroughly. Evenaire informed us that sometimes other companies will take a hose and barely squirt it down if that at all. Evenaire took apart the entire framing and pulled handfuls of grass, dirt, and gunk from our unit. Thank god for honest business people. We found out that they are a family business who started because they were put off by the practices of another larger A/C company. They were amazing and their prices were reasonable. I was so grateful, I wanted to add gratuity to our bill for them coming out on a Sunday! read more

My ac unit went out on a Saturday night and I called evenaire and within 20 minutes of my call they were at my home. Within an hour they were done and my unit was fixed! They were extremely professional, laughed at my stupid jokes (which I really appreciate btw haha) and made me comfortable. Having people at your home that are not known to you can make ya feel weird.. not them, felt like I was hanging out with a long lost family member Point of this all? Would I recommend Evenaire - Hell yes! Local companies will always get my business over the big names and they are worth every penny.. by the way their pricing is a hell of a lot better than just about anywhere. read more

Above and beyond at Evenaire! I had an AC coil go bad on my home unit. It had been installed by another company who hadn't bothered to register the warranty and subsequently went out of business. I have had nothing but great service from Evenaire. They are wonderful people and are honest. I had been taken advantage of from another company for years and the last straw was he wanted me to pay anywhere from $5,000-$10,000 to replace my whole unit, which he was the one who caused the leak in the first place and had been charging me to fill my unit every year. I had just quit my job and had a new baby when my AC went out in the dead heat of Aug, so $5,000 was devastating. I called Evenaire for another opinion and I am glad I did!!! They fixed my old unit, called around on my warranties and made it work for way less than that. A year later, I had an issue with something and they were quick to respond, plus I felt very supported as they treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. Take it from someone who has seen the bad side of the AC business and the crooks in some companies, this company is legit and will take care of you like family. read more

I test the work of alot of air conditioning companies for my job, and when the time came to replace my air conditioning system in my own house I did not hesitate to call these guys. The quality of their work is top-notch and they are exceedingly courteous and professional. Nick took care of all the rebate and loan details and made certain that everything was in order when the time came to install the new system. Testing the system after it was installed showed that they had cut the overall duct leakage by more than 2/3rds. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new air conditioning system. read more

My A/C died because the fan on the condenser stopped working ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON! I checked my NextDoor app for recommended Air Conditioner repair and EvenAire was HIGHLY recommended by my immediate neighbors. I used another company for my maintenance recently and felt they were overpriced, but my neighbors hailed that EvenAire was fair. I called on a Friday afternoon for someone to come out and they said they had someone available! Great sign! Tech showed up and tested the compressor. Sure enough, the fan was dead. Our system is 16 years old and we knew when we bought the house last year that the previous owner had issues. We received the price to fix and it seemed like a bandaid fix for us. The tech gave us prices for a new system and we decided to go with that instead. We felt the fan fix was high but the tech offered us a discount if we decided to go with one of the new units that would take up to 2 months to order. We talked (my team) and decided to go with the Lennox unit they had in stock and waited until Tuesday for the install. Usually, my husband takes that time to consider the pros and cons, whether we're getting ripped off or not, etc... after he talked with other folks, he felt comfortable with his decision. So, all that being said, the install techs showed up on time,'installed the new A/C and furnace right on time (as told when the arrived) and were on their way. EvenAire is also taking care of the paperwork for the Oncor rebate. Very professional and courteous. They cleaned up everything before leaving as well. read more

Why is it that you always have AC problems in the heat of the summer, when it's 103 outside? Thank goodness for great companies like Evenaire Heating and Air Conditioning! I want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to the team at Evenaire. This is by far one of the best AC companies I've had to work with...they are very honest, friendly, and trustworthy. They aren't out to get rich off of you, they are out to have satisfied customers who will send them repeat business and referrals, which I will surely be doing. First, they came to my home within 30 minutes of me calling, at 5:00 on a Saturday to temporarily fix my AC unit in the heat of the summer, which I greatly appreciated. NO weekend fee was charged! Then, when it came to the complete replacement of my unit, the work was completed very quickly, without interruption to my business work being conducted at home, and my house was left nearly spotless. Furthermore, I have a cousin in the AC business that I spoke to prior to Evenaire coming out to my house. Evenaire communicated almost verbatim the exact same recommendations my cousin gave...they are extremely honest and forthright with their suggestions. You can trust what they are saying and recommending to you...they don't try to upsell you on something you don't need! I highly recommend Evenaire and will be calling on them again in the future for any AC/heating needs I may have. Thank you Danny and team! read more

We are out of state on vacation and through our thermostat app discovered that our home was up to 86° at 7:30am even though it was set to 78°. We have 2 cats in the house and we're concerned about how hot our Texas house would get. CASA could not get to us for 4 days. We called Evenaire at 9:15am and they had a technician there by 10:30am. We were able to remote open our garage door so he could access our indoor unit, and he had it up and running in less than an hour. I'm sure our 2 cats are much happier! And we are so thankful we will return to a nice cool home! Everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. They were in constant communication with us via text and phone calls, so even though we weren't there in person we always knew what was happening. Now here's a family owned company you can absolutely count on. We had our new system installed almost 2 years ago now, they only use the industry leading brand Lennox, ours is a XP16 3 - Ton. I'm telling you there hasn't been one time that we've had to even think about our A/C unit or the consistency of the temperature in our home, we go to the app on our phone no matter where we are to get a accurate temp reading and/or to adjust the temp. You don't have to worry about who comes out to do the install because they are all family with unmatchable knowledge and paramount expertise in the business, not mention their reliability after the transaction. Thank you to the whole family team at Evenaire for keeping our family and home right where it needs to be consistently 24 hours a day 365 days a year!!!
