For a first timer I look for a little more interaction and recommendations but conversation was limited, no real greeting 3/5 for the overall café experience. I'd come back for the strawberry matcha, though, if I was in the area!

I ordered an Avocado Toast, 2 Blueberry Muffins, and for my drink, got an Ube Latte. Everything tasted above and beyond fresh and delicious. My Ube Latte was made to PERFECTION! Don't know much about their parking situation, but I found street parking right in the front. They also do delivery, and 3rd party orders. My first time, but definitely not the last. I love minimalist spaces, and this is the exact opposite. This is probably just my own OCD personality that misses Steve Jobs and his black turtlenecks. The staff, however, is very nice! Okay, now the coffee, which is what my rating is based on. The latte was a small step up from Starbucks and had an odd taste that I couldn't quite place. My wife couldn't finish hers. The drip coffee was barely above lukewarm and just didn't taste good. Again, it was hard to put my finger on exactly what was wrong with it, but it didn't taste particularly fresh. I noticed the bag of beans on the counter was roasted on 6/30 and marked down on clearance. Anyway, it's probably a perfectly fine place if you're not obsessed with excellent black coffee or high-quality espresso drinks. The space is large, there's lots of outdoor seating, and the staff is nice. I just wish I'd known going in that the coffee wasn't very good, so I'm writing this review for the other people out there who are equally insufferable about their coffee.

Jameson Brown is an artisan roaster sourcing beans from around the globe, barrels of beautiful coffee beans are on display and you can watch the baristas access them as they craft each drink to order. The menu is displayed on a giant blackboard, with special and seasonal offerings up front by the counter. New pastry selections include treats like calamansi cheesecake pandesal and sticky buns (with vegan options as well). The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming as I took my time deciding what to get. I went with my usual vanilla latte, plus their specialty Vienna latte. The espresso in my vanilla latte was bold and delicious, and while I'm not a big cinnamon fan, the Vienna latte (with honey and cinnamon) was perfect to bring home to my husband. Loved the open space, perfect for meetings, game nights, or just working from a coffee shop for the day. So glad I could finally check this one off my list. Highly recommend!

I've been to virtually every cafe in LA and I had never even heard of corn milk before. I had no idea what I was missing !!! I also grabbed a latte to go with oat and it was excellent. On this weekday I came for the Jasmine Milk Tea. Last time this was under the Tea Latte section, but they menu changed and there is now a dedicated Milk Tea section. And also there is a Jasmine Latte with Espresso in it, but that is under the Espresso section. I was able to get it chilled but without ice. The lowest sweetness level was 50%, but I asked nicely and they estimated they could make a 25% for me. It turned out wonderfully, extremely floral, barely any sweetness so the Jasmine aroma and taste were the dominant ones. In the food side I selected the popcorn chicken. I can take some heat but only a small bit, so I asked for the spice powder in the side. I just looove the texture of the popcorn chicken. You can see in the picture that it's a very thin breading, almost not there, but the texture seems almost as if an invisible rice flour was tossed in the outside. Still juicy in the inside, and small pieces to make every bite pop-able. The chicken comes with a ranch sauce, though to me it's a second thought. Add a hint of spice or even have the chicken as is, no ranch is needed.

Arlette was the barista who helped me and based on my preferences she made a few recommendations, in which I opted for the Besitos ($7) which is a horchata and cinnamon latte. While they were making my latte, I settled into a comfortable half booth seat that conveniently had outlets underneath. My drink was prepared quickly and wowwwwww. It had the perfect balance of coffee and creaminess. All the things I like in a latte and in a horchata in one cup. Based on the way they're set up, it seems like the folks who are socializing like to sit outside, and the folks inside securing outlets are studying or working. It's a good workspace alternative.
